I thought I was going to die from the prednisone withdrawal effects. Felt like the worst flu ever. Every muscle, every inch of my body hurt. When I tried to get in touch, no call back. This Clinic is one of the most prestigious centers of the West Coast of the United States. We are so grateful to Dr. Shah and Dr. Kelh, because we are a team of cardiologists first professional category. Besides being excellent professional honesty in unimaginable. Here in Las Vegas I saw two cardiologists , one said he had to put three stents and open heart surgery . The other, who had to place him four stents. Furthermore Hospital of Monterey Peninsula was built with donations from the rich and famous have their second homes , with state of the art equipment and the best doctors in the country . We have alot of history as today, I am going on my 12th year of being Cancer Free. In the very beginning of my treatment, Dr. Shiffman wanted to go outside of the box, get other oncologists opinions, anything that it would take because my prognois was prettty bad...a few months at the most. From the very first appointment he had me...his warmth was genuine and his determination was strong. I could call the office at anytime of the day with questions...he has a fabulous staff and I get an answer pronto from either the Doctor himself or one of his assistants. Dr, Shiffman held my hand during some very difficult times and decisions. While an Oncologists has to have one of the hardest jobs in the field of medicine, he always greets you with warmth and a generous hug and you, and during that visit, however long it takes, he is all yours 110%. I am 86 and didn't think I really had a chance to have any breast problems. But went to the Breast Center and had a mammogram and a lump was discovered. Biopsied and malignant. Because the lump was small and discovered early, I didn't need Chemo, just radiation. I had that for 5 days and was done. I credit Dr.Tapson for getting me to early treatment and removal of the malignant lump, I owe him my life. Thank you forever.

I have never heard of this, but I wanted to understand. I asked questions, asked for clarification, tried to get numbers to go with the protocol. Probably was on the phone less than 5 minutes. The receptionist became irritated and said OMG not under her breath. I feel that was unkind and uncalled for.
