Our HOA contracted Galt to service our community and I have had nothing but problems with them. I started gardening in my back yard 3 years ago and I have an organic vegetable garden that I use to grow dozens of different variety's of fruit, herbs, and vegetables. Galt keeps spraying herbicides in my backyard all around my garden despite my repeated asks for them to stop. I eventually banned them from my backyard altogether, every few months they forget and come back into my backyard and spray my seedlings and plants with herbicides. Most recently they sprayed my carrots and brussel sprouts. I had to throw them out and delay planting season because the herbicide they used is not approved for agricultural use. When I explained the issue, they insisted this was not a problem. They have zero concept of herbicide drift. Avoid this company like the plague. They are unresponsive. They do not follow directions. And when they make mistakes, they do not offer to rectify the situation. read more

Wow, what a disappointing experience and truly terrible customer service. I spent $10,500 to have a hill cleared, sprayed, planted with 95 blue rug junipers, and covered with pine straw. Within just 3-4 weeks, the hill was full of weeds. Josh, the project manager, eventually sent someone out to weed and spray with Lintel Herbicide (safe for junipers). He told me it would need additional applications and promised to get me a gallon within a week. That was August 9th. Since then, I've texted him 10 times and called 3 times--and received zero response. At this point, I'm paying someone else to fix the problem. Be warned: these people take your money but cannot be trusted to follow through. read more

They simply do a bad job. They serve our community and it just looks bad. I won't get into the fact that they don't do all the things they're paid to do. What they actually do is worse than if they just stayed home. They've messed up my lawn and broke all the lights I have along the border of the bed. They just don't care and all complaints and requests have been ignored. read more

We only use Galt because it's included in our Stony Creek HOA monthly fee. Most of the time there is a mess after they trim around the townhomes . They do good landscaping work , they just leave a mess of clippings everywhere. They attempt to blow them around with a blower instead of just picking them up. The front of the townhomes homes looks great, by the roadway. They're sure to make that look nice because they'll get complaints from the HOA if they don't ...but forget about the back of your home . We have to go pick up clippings , sticks , and REALLY blow off our front and back entrance and patio etc after every single yard day. Not impressed. :-/ read more

Galt does the common area for our HOA. Recently, they came around to trim all the bushes. When they were done, did they pick up the trimmings? Nope! They blew all of them back into the bushes!!! Now, there are piles of trimmings in between all of the bushes. Wow.....never seen since such horrible service. read more

Galt has serviced our HOA community for several years and it's looking much better since they started. The management is very responsive and proactive, sending updates with pictures and recommendations. They've also handled several large enhancement projects that turned out really well. read more

Galt is probably the WORST landscaping company around ! My neighbor uses them and they do shawty work ! Be ready cause they don't use tarps when they trim bushes ! They'll just blow everything in your yard so have a good blower to blow it back in the neighbors yard when they leave . They've been blowing all my neighbors debris in my yard for 2 years straight and they use crappy pinestraw I've noticed lol this company is a joke !!!! Not even worth 1 star ! I agree with all of the negative reviews. This is the WORST and they are uneducated on landscaping and proper techniques to prune, cut grass, blow off pavement. They were supposed to prune my bushes, they hacked them down to nothing leaving my window exposed to possible intruders. They never clean up properly after themselves and they have no knowledge or drainage or proper landscape design. They were supposed to prune the yard, they have left it totally exposed to erosion and runoff. DON"T HIRE THESE GUYS. They have no business being in the landscaping business. NO STARS. read more

WARNING do not select this company for your community landscaping you will be disappointed just like our community has been for months now - it should look great it's the beginning of summer the flowers were planted in early spring and they look awful. Especially if you are working with Walker you will not have the customer service you are paying for. Filing a BBB complaint is next for us. You have been warned! read more

The company met with us, agreed to our monthly rate, and then "dropped us" months later because they said they weren't making a profit. The reasoning? we didn't go with their mulch bid (additional charge.) We chose a different company for mulch as their mulch price was 4X everyone else. The second account manager we had was great (and the only reason I gave 2-stars) but I would say that they were definitely a "blow and go" group. Our community is now overrun with weeds. read more

My husband and I live in downtown Crabapple and our neighborhood uses Galt. We used them for installing new sod in our backyard and they were AMAZING! Will, in particular, was so wonderful in helping us pick the perfect type of sod and had great ideas of what to do with some existing stones. He actually helped us make two paths out of one path of stones saving us money! We highly recommend this company!! And our backyard is gorgeous now. read more
