It is small but decently organized. The store associates are pretty friendly. They usually remove expired products from shelves and have decent refund policies. I live in Belltown so this store has saved me multiple trips to Bellevue for Indian groceries. Here are some things that can further improve: They run out of inventory from time to time, so it would be helpful if they can get better with managing some of their high velocity items. They charge 20 cents for bags (vs. 7-8 cents at all other stores) which is just bad customer experience. I don't see why they should do that. They could consider keeping Indian ice creams as those are very popular. Otherwise , I like this store and visit atleast once every two weeks.

However; they do have BHINDI (okra) though for all you bhindi fans out there like myself! They also carry some chaat and lunch times which are reasonably priced. The owner (who is super welcoming and friendly) also said that if anything is missing you can tell him and he will order it for you in a week. This store seems very promising! While I might not recommend this place to anyone, they have their charms to treasure hunt and prices tend to be low. If anything looks questionable, it is. I don't buy any of the seafood. The meat is a maybe if you live nearby. The produce is mixed, too. Gai-lan (Chinese broccoli) in a bag looked suspicious; they were. I still make mistakes with what I buy here. Meanwhile, a box of honey mangoes is better looking than any others I have seen - BIG and approaching ripeness. They were superb. The deep-fried SE Asian treat from a mold that looks like a lotus flower (called Khanom Dok Bua in Lao or Khanom Dok Jok in Thai) is a surprising winner. I didn't die. They were good. LOL. But the real problem is the exorbitant prices and the shoppers here look more than willing to pay those prices, so they must be really very well off. Typical prices are 25% to 40% higher than Safeway or Fred Meyer and that's not an exaggeration. Most of the deli salads are $10 a pound or more which is crazy high. The deli sandwiches are delicious and they are high price but they are well loaded with food about $9 each. Fresh lamb cuts are $15.99 a pound; fresh hamburger $10 a pound. Eggs are $9.00 a dozen and more. Talenti gelato is $6 a pint which is $1.50 higher than Amazon Fresh. I really don't buy much here except things like the deli sandwiches or hard to find soft drinks like Fentiman's, which are a real treat. The rest is just too expensive. Freezer manager: check them. There is a LOT of frost on the ice cream and frozen treats. You probably have a seal leak somewhere. I really liked the Skagit Valley Deli Chicken Sandwich, esp. when heated.
