Our office spent an afternoon intensely competing at Game Night Out. It was the perfect outing for our group of 12. The games had great variety, the subjects were varied, and everyone had a great time. From Oprah to kitchen utensils, we were laughing and building camaraderie. The team at GNO did a great job keeping us on track but we still enjoyed plenty of the beverages we brought. I would recommend to anyone who wants to laugh with their coworkers and see if they know what the opposite of vanilla is. It would be great for friends, family, or a work group. This is the 3rd time I have done Game Night Out and every time is one of the best nights I've had. This time we went with a group of 12, a pretty rowdy group. The hosts are so great at corralling a group and getting us to pay attention but not being rude. The games have changed every time I've been so no advantage (bummer). It's BYO food & drink so it really feels like game night in your living room, but you don't have to clean up! A fun way to mix up a night out. We'll be back! read more

We did a virtual Game Night In for my birthday. I had no idea what to expect, but it ended up being a blast! My husband and I have gathered our friends together on a few different virtual card game nights throughout the COVID pandemic, but wanted to do something different for my birthday, so we did Game Night In. It was SO nice for someone else to be able to handle all of the planning and facilitate the games from start to finish. Our host, Kerrie M., did a great job with just the right mix of entertainment and group interaction. I had a pretty diverse crowd of folks in our game night - from teens to seniors, family and friends, a good mix of introverts/extraverts.... and I was so surprised to see how the games had universal appeal. This is "Hollywood Game Night" in person! I brought a group to celebrate my 40th birthday, and we had a blast! Al and Fiona were incredible hosts and did the MOST to ensure we had a fun experience! The games were so fun, including a "timeline" game, the last round of which were pictures of ME from my life because it was my birthday! SUCH a thoughtful, unexpected touch! We loved that the space was BYOB and snacks, so I could bring exactly what I knew we wanted to eat and drink! I cannot recommend this experience enough for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, work team-building, holiday parties, etc. What an awesome concept and well-executed! We had a team Building activity at this place . I had a lukewarm experience in Game Night Out. I appreciate how the hosts are engaging and all the games seem super fun for almost all of my colleagues .a Lot of the games are well thought of and well prepared. I just felt very frustrated at times because some of the games are really tricky especially if someone did not necessarily grow up in the US. There were questions about the Kardashians, chronological arrangement of the US states and food categories that are specifically familiar to US-native participants. I just hope that some Of the categories of the games would be more diverse towards the Minority population that participated in this activity. Nonetheless, I guess if you have some extra bucks to spare and a open to new experiences , then I say give this place a Go. I would highly recommend it to everyone who wants to "Make Game Nights Great Again." read more

Had a great time at Game Night Out! We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our mom - although I thought this was expensive it was really fun! Jack and Allie were great as our game master and hosts for the night. The games were fun and it was nice to have them planned and organized for us. I enjoyed that it was BYOB and BYOF, but our group didn't really feel like an hour was long enough to enjoy everything. We felt everything was a bit too rushed for how expensive it was. I think that it would have been nice to have the option when booking of at least an hour and 30 mins with a "mini" intermission to enjoy the room and get a break from games. Also, I think it would be a great option to have while you are there that for an extra $X.XX you can book the room for an additional 30 mins - if the space allowed for it and if it was an incentive type deal. We most likely would have paid to stay a bit longer since our group felt an hour wasn't long enough. All around really great staff, the remodeled rooms are clean and cozy plus the games were fun! read more

This review is for a virtual Game Night In Large Group Experience for 20 people. The hosts are great and the games are fun. My low score is for the cost for the large group experience which is 3x the cost of the regular Game Night In and I am not sure what you get that is extra for that price point. We had two hosts...so maybe double the price would be more appropriate if you have a single host with the regular size group. We also spent a lot of time on logistics and not game play...the first 25+ minutes of our 90 minutes was just dead time...the hosts left the call before we even started...maybe 5-10 minutes in... to discuss something in their own breakout room whch I assumed would be them putting us into teams, but they came back after leaving us on our own for a while, and THEN started the process of putting us into teams, so our first game didn't start until about 28 minutes into game time. And that 28 minutes wasn't like fun mixer ice breaker time, it was just dead time on logistics. The last couple minutes were also spent pitching using their services again. We had the usual irritating Zoom issues of sound and mute and people talking over each other. And the hosts called a few attendees, including one of the bday girls, by the wrong name more than once even though names are on the zoom grid. Anyway, I would have been happier and less irritated by the logistical deficiencies if the cost were not so high. They sold it to me as a "premium" product and it was definitely not a premium experience. The 50 minutes or so of game time were pretty fun, but not at a Disneyland-level cost. read more

Absolute great time! Everyone in our group raved about what a fun time we had. If you've ever seen Hollywood Game Night hosted by Jane Lynch that is the best comparison to this experience. Pricing compares to what escape rooms charge. Do yourself a favor and skip two movie nights and go here once instead. Real good time. This was the best decision of our Bachelor party weekend. We had a group of 20 do the 2 hours and it was the perfect amount of time jam packed with so many fun games. Everyone was included throughout the two hours and enjoyed themselves. There was plenty of space for our food and drinks that we brought. I would highly recommend this for a large group activity! We had an awesome and excitingly fun time. The staff was very helpful, relatable and accommodating. The only thing I didn't like was the reservation process. The website says to confirm for a low amount of people and add on people up to the room max. Well, I did that and was charged for the room max and when I questioned it, they said it's a fixed rate and there's a no refund policy. If you don't have the room max of people going for sure and don't want to be out of a bunch of $$ perhaps wait until you do but when you do, you will have a fun time! What a fun family night. Everyone in our group of 8 had fun. Ali and Kevin were our hosts and were articulate, fun and friendly. They explained all the games well and has such a theatrical flair which made it even more fun. Not your run-of-the-mill games here. The 2 hours flew by and can't wait to do it again. 10/10 recommend! We had a group of 20 come here for my 25th birthday and it did not disappoint. When you divide the price up, it's totally worth it as I would easily spend 45-50 dollars out downtown at the bars or dinner anyways and this experience was unique and a fun change of pace. Plus you can't beat byob and food!! The games are interactive, hands on, and competitive meanwhile you get to sip your cold beverage and feel at home in the "living room" set up. The room is SO spacious and it never felt overcrowded. The hosts help everything run smoothly while making sure you're having a good a** time. PS they said they switch up the games every 3 months so we'll be back! read more

If you're a true competitive person that loves trivia and hanging out with your friends, this is the place for you. The games were very common with a very unique twist. Literally non stop fun and laughs the entire 2 hours. Every game had me on my toes and at the edge of my seat that I didn't to miss a beat by using the restroom. Allie and Jin were awesome hosts. Very entertaining and hilarious. I can't wait to go back. Only downfall, is that's its located inside of a mall and might be hard to find. Make sure to tell your guests specific directions. They joked back and forth with us and made sure we completely understood all the rules before starting each game. We never wanted it to end because it was so much fun. The staff and owners are very nice, outgoing people, and accommodating. We had a teambuilding event there and wanted to mix people. The guy hosting didn't particularly pay attention to much of what we said / asked for, he was far more interested in verbalizing his acting resume. He was overly loud, overly obnoxious and just trying to hard to be MASTER of the show. Just plain unlikable. When he was barking out the rules of the game too many of the people in our group didn't really hear him because he was so obnoxiously loud. I couldn't help but think he must have had a number acting teachers tell him he has to be heard at the back of the room - which may be true if he were playing to a large theatre but not so if you're playing in a room smaller than any Chicago apartment living room that I've ever been in. There was another host assisting, she should have hosted the whole night. Some of the games were a lot of fun, some we would have rather skipped had we been given the choice. They ate up time and weren't terribly engaging. There was a drawing game that used a laser pen on a screen that really didn't work well since there is residual glow after each drawing that lasts for a long time. After a couple drawings the board just isn't visible. Just use a white board. It wipes clean faster and people are used to sketching with a pen or marker not some hit or miss laser. Other than super stiff megaphone mouth the Game Night crew were very likable, helpful, and accommodating. The process from booking to checking in and getting up and running is easy. Overall the night was fun. But was it worth $45 per person...you decide. read more
