One thing led to another, handle was fixed but then he had to take the unit apart multiple times because he did something else that caused another issue (he claimed he didn't do it, but it had no other issue when we called him). Long story short, after paying him $440, the microwave stopped functioning properly, shortly afterwards, I was hoping to get a few more years of usage out of this appliance. Very frustrating, I should have invested the repair funds into a new unit instead trying to use his services. He will charge you a minimum fee to come out again and I didn't want to waste another penny on his services. Learn from my mistake, just invest in a new appliance.

He didn't even charge me. Then on Saturday, Feb. 11, everytime I put my password in to log on, I got the whirligig. After waiting 5 attempts at about 15 minutes each with no progress, I realized this was a bigger problem than restart could fix. I brought my laptop into iSolution and the guy watched the whirligig and said, "This is an OS problem." Luckily I had my WD back up drive and it was current, so I told him if he had to wipe the laptop, so be it. Well, after a few hours he called and said the OS was corrupted and that he'd been able to fix it without wiping my laptop. No need to reinstall everything. I called and got an estimate for $80 which I agreed to. They asked for the $80 payment upfront. I was hesitant about paying upfront, but my husband did. About a week later, they called and said it was ready but we had a balance of another $80. My husband sweetly picked it up without asking questions.. but I had questions! They said they cleaned the printer so that it worked better and the labor cost was $80 more. I would have declined if they called and asked if I wanted it done. In fact, I would have left the old printer there and bought a brand new printer for the same price I'm not sure if it works, I'm assuming it does. I received the printer back with no yellow ink when I had just put a new one in before dropping it off. I'll never go back. That was such a waste of money

Later I found you can't recharge a TV. #2 he sold me two new channel changers that he said would be so easy to turn on and off. After 2 days the batteries went dead. He fixed my cable box with TAPE to keep it on!!!He said I had a one year guarantee. He charged me $1200. Changed the batteries on the new channel changers. Googled the channel changers and they updated that model and was no longer for sale. The channel changers are still dead and I went back to the old method of using 2 channel changers to turn on and off and change the channels. I want to call Mike back but I know he's not returning my $1200. I really don't want to deal with him anymore. He has an answer for everything. I don't trust anything he says. So another lesson learned, even at 84!!!

The employee told me they were backed up and wouldn't be able to diagnose it this week unless I signed up for their membership, which would move me to the front of the line. I told him I wasn't interested in a membership. He then said it would cost $165 for a diagnosis. I pointed out that their website states diagnostics are free, but he ignored my question and continued trying to sell me their $39/month membership. After I declined again, he explained that the $165 diagnostic fee would be applied toward the repair. I asked what would happen if the repair only cost $50--would I receive the remaining balance back? He said no. He then suggested that if I signed up for the membership and kept it for a minimum of two months, I would receive a discount on the diagnostic fee. At that point, something didn't feel right, so I decided to leave without having them service my console. I then took the same Xbox to the uBreakiFix on Harbor Boulevard. The employee there told me they would inspect the system, call me with an estimate if repairs were needed, and that there would be no charge unless I approved the repair. Based on my experience, I would avoid the Bristol Street location and take your business elsewhere. Go to the Harbor Boulevard location

The…read moreprocess for replacing my tablet screen was very quick and easy, with Matt explaining everything thoroughly so I could understand what was going on. The replacement only took 1 hour, but he wanted to keep the tablet another few hours to make sure the glue stayed on well, which is fine by me! He also threw in a screen protector on the house, which was very much appreciated. The cost of the screen replacement was lower than I was expecting based off what I was reading online for other stores. I also want to commend him for his honesty: after I told him about the problem my Nintendo Switch was having, he explained that he might be able to fix the GPU problem, but he wasn't comfortable doing so and taking my money when it may run into the same problem again in a few days or weeks. I highly recommend having your electronics repaired here and will definitely be taking any future electronics to him for fixing!
