This place is location is horrible. I stopped by at 3:20 PM and walked in but told they would be on lunch. I came back and paid for my games. Told to be back at 9 that they would be open and arrived at 9:27 pm and they ignored me and didn't open even though I had a number for the game release. Phones say they are closed but I see them. I am surprised this place is still open. Every time i want to come i always check the store hours before i make my way over. I'll even try calling, they rarely answer their phones. But its been 2 days in a row that I come and they're taking extended breaks, which is surprising because I do not come around lunch or dinner time. You guys have officially lost my business. I will no longer buy from you or trade in games. I brought in a perfectly functional Xbox One for trade and you guys took off $50 on the trade value because of a slight cosmetics issue? A scratch repair on the body of the console shouldn't have anything to do with the value of the gaming system. I know you guys could have overlooked that and repaired it yourselves for $5. $10 top? Yeah, no thank you. I will find local ma and pa stores to shop from. Your employees are decent, but your service sucks something terrible. So I can't blame them for following your terrible policies. I called to buy a set of Hyper X cloud headsets, spoke to Nick and was not informative at all! My first question was "Due you have them in stock?" Nick replied "No!" My next question was "If I order them when can I pick them up?" He told me "We can not pick up in store", without giving me any other information. I ended up calling the Rosedale store they gave me all the information I needed and purchased from them. This will definitely be the last time I buy from this location. Turned in like four bags of old games, and an Xbox one. A lot of folks spoke about how weird they are with pricing and so I was looking for a quote. Well it was fine to me. Everyone who spoke ill of this place seems to focus not on staff, selection, or location but how they will not give them top dollar for THEIR used games. For me my games were not new, my Xbox was in good condition but was that dusty thing with minor cosmetic damage. Still they worked with me and the staff was patient with me. I will note as it was the holidays they took the effort to pull me aside, out of line and letting people behind me go buy things, and a rep worked with me the entire time I needed it. They then settled me up and I did some pre-orders. So all in all a good store with an excellent staff. read more

Called earlier in the day to see if they were having anything for the pre-launch of Call of Duty WWII and the CSR said at 9pm they will hand out the game just bring your receipt. Me and my son lined up at 745pm and at 9pm they let us in to find out I needed a yellow sticker for pre-launch and left empty handed. You might want to use this opportunity to educate your workers to be a little more specific on pre-launch. I did pre-order our game months ago but knew nothing about yellow sticker being handed out! read more

So I called today to inquire about products that I was actually looking for my system, and I was very satisfied with the customer service I received over the phone during this whole COVID-19 pandemic we have going. I am not sure if GameStop is aware that they have a very professional, accommodating eager to help and willing to find a solution to any issues regarding inventory within their employees system. I am not sure if BROOKE (I hope I spelled that correct) is a manager at this store but if she isn't I highly encourage GameStop to look into her work ethic to get her that position ASAP. As I was calling about accessories she prompted to inform me that they were unfortunately out of stock she actually went ahead and gave me information over at gamestop.com to furthermore search my needs. She explained shipping handling curbside pick up in detail different, methods of payment. Y'all have one heck of an employee. Although I hope all of Your employees have that passion as she does we all know that in customer service and professionalism during hard times is not something you actually receive. Honestly if I could give negative stars I would. The young lady that was working with the super long blonde hair was an idiot. She tried to convince me she couldn't get Starcraft 2 collector's edition shipped to my house. With even looking she barked " NO ONE will have it" so i asked to check and she said no. My favorite part though, I came to the game stop up the road and she had no issues ordering the collector's edition for and ship it to my house. Too bad the GMS don't read these she needs to fired or written up for being a dick. Oh off subject don't go to the star bucks next door. The girl just tried to charge me 5 bucks for a grande tea. Went here just to trade in some video games that I don't even use anymore and ended up having a Damn good conversation with Chris (emp) and a few other customers about Dragon ball Z.. Haha thats never happened to me in a game store. Excellent service will definitely come back. I visited this branch to pickup a birthday gift. Everything was visible and displayed so if you know what you are looking for, you will be able to find it. The service was nice and the lady was helpful. Parking is limited and the area gets busy. I had a good experience and if I needed to return to a Game Stop, I would come back to this one. read more

Gamestop has always been a safehaven for most gamers. Its just a very chill environment where gamers can look at all the new and upcoming games. As a child you would have to go to gamestop to reserve the lastest games. Its very dissapointing to see them fall of the map. The employees will always be down to earth, except when they are trying to make money off you. Gamestop is just too expensive nowadays and has way too much competition. Amazon sells games for 45 when you reserve them. Bestbuy has gcu club offering 20% games when you have the membership. Your better off selling your games or systems on craigs/ebay unless your not internet savy. These stores will always have a place in my heart from old times as a kid. read more

I would give this place negative stars if Yelp would allow it. I had pre ordered Fallout 4 and I had called the night it would be released to check what time they would open their doors. I was informed that at 9pm they would close the doors and not allow anyone in even though all of the other GameStop locations were open until 10 in the evening and that you could pick up your game as long as you had your receipt. I had gotten off of work arrived at 9:15 while there was still a line for preorder pick ups and was told that I wasn't allowed to pick up my game and that they opened tomorrow at 10 and I could return then. I could have had it transferred from this GameStop to another, but they refused to answer the phone. The staff was rude and manager were both rude in person and over the phone. When I returned in the morning the woman working the register had an awful attitude about dealing with the people that were upset about the preorder fiasco the night before. I've always gotten my pre orders at the GameStop on Rosedale and I made the switch out of convenience, but I refuse to return again. read more
