I believe it's the only place in Bakersfield other than Target where you can purchase the Cards Against Humanity game. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable of all of the games. Paladins Game Castle even visited the school I work at to host a Game Tournament Event for Pokemon and Yugioh. They have a wide variety of things they offer like card sleeves, cards, pro-binders, boardgames, figure paints, plushies, and dice. They also sell Game of Thrones Card Sleeves and Game of Thrones mats. Those things aren't available to Bakersfield unless you order them online. I've only competed in the Yugioh tournaments, and the store always maintains a friendly atmosphere. The tournaments are organized by numbering specific tables and assigning players to each table. During the tournaments, when contestants aren't competing, they are welcome to trade cards with each other. PGC just asks that their customers do not sell or buy cards from each other because it hurts their business. Overall, I've really grown to love this place, and I refuse to buy most of my card stuff online because I'd rather buy stuff from PGC to support a local business.

He even invited me to their release nights, where they hold stock for players--a cool way to make sure regulars can grab cards. Definitely felt like a welcoming shop with a community vibe.

I forgot how big this store is, Memorial Day and Fourth of July supplies and declarations are out in abundance. My wife was with me so I knew this short stop in was gonna take a little longer and I was right. I wasn't able to find the stencils that I was looking for it, we made it through the store, looking at all the different departments. We got some good ideas for future projects. Lots of employees were working stocking different areas. Most all were helpful. I found some foam brushes that I use at a great price. I bought two packs from Lucy at the checkout she was super friendly with a great smile and personality. Hobby lobby was a great experience with the American flags, red white and blue decorations, and 4th of July displays I was even more patriotic and proud to be American when I left. I'll be back.

While I've been to other Pop stores with bigger inventory, this place has the best selection I've seen... seriously! The owner, Jim, gets the best Common Pops and even rarer Chases and other limited editions. He also even gets the newest Pops and re-stocks immediately! Not only is he friendly and kind, he is knowledgeable and his prices are definitely fair. He also sells other toys and collectibles and even sells Pop protectors to protect your investment. I also like the fact that he has a BOOB section (it's not what you think, LOL) which contains Pops that have some kind of defect on the box which lowers the price. At least he's being fair and lowers the price! Pretty cool!!! I seriously feel like a kid in a candy store here as I a serious Pop collector/enthusiast. Makes me wanting to keep going back for more to see what he has in stock. He also always has trade ins all the time, some small but others huge ones and posts it on the instagram account. I always keep on eye out for that because most of the time when I'm looking for a rare pop he'll have em on one of those posts. He even allows holds on some funko pops if theres not too many on the floor which is cool. Really nice cool guy to talk too as well, I like how he's very knowledgeable on funko pops. Yes, this Vendor has many packs of different sets to choose from, but what is the point when you overprice them? No more MSRP excuse, kids should be able to collect and play too. But that won't happen anytime soon if you keep up with the high prices. While it's sometimes hard to find anybody in the aisles to help you, if you go up to the front, they will surely stop what they are doing and help you. If you go to the picture framing, I have found them to be incredibly helpful. Most of the times the prices are reasonable and at least equivalent to most other craft and school supply store.
