Unfortunately, they made some changes and consolidated some spaces, etc. One of those changes was severely cutting their hours. I believe they close at 8:00 p.m. throughout the week now, and 2:00 p.m. on the weekends! These hours don't fit most people's lives, especially mine as a night shift nurse. I can handle rearranging some equipment and even closing the kids club, but if I can't get there because they close so doggone early it's not worth me paying for it. By the way, even though they cut out several hours per week of available gym time for clients, they did not cut out any of the very expensive monthly dues for members. This business is owned by ProMedica and if I didn't know any better I would think that they didn't care about encouraging people to live a healthy lifestyle, and that they only cared about money. And then I remembered that I am a ProMedica nurse and that is absolutely, 100%, the case! They made these changes to the hours from a financial standpoint, not thinking about their clientele or giving a crap if anyone actually visits the gym (so long as they pay their monthly dues).

In my opinion, the highlights of this gym include the space and variety of rooms available to ensure a great workout. They offer 2-3 different machines for the upper, mid, and lower body, which is great! For advanced fitness enthusiasts, this means you won't have to wait to complete your workout routine. For beginners, I highly recommend hiring one of their skilled personal trainers to start your fitness journey the right way. Any day is a good day to practice self-care. So far, one of my favorite machines is the standing hamstring curl; this machine is a gem, and I'm super happy they have it. The gym is clean, the bathrooms are neat, the weights are organized, and they offer spray bottles with towels for you to wipe down the machines after every use. I have yet to try the classes and provide feedback, or the smoothie bar, hydro massage, and sauna. Eventually, I will. If a machine IS broken, it's usually fixed in a timely manner...unlike other gyms I've been to where equipment starts to form cobwebs. Because this gym is located inside a strip mall, the space is limiting therefore so are the machines & free weights. I usually go late at night (midnight) and have had no problems with waiting for equipment, so I can't really say what the 5 o'clock rush is like there. There are no amenities like a pool/saunas, personal training or a yoga room.....just the meat and potatoes of what a simple gym would need. And yes there are showers! For what I paid for a 2yr contract, it was a reasonable amount and what sold me was the 24hr access and location (within 5 miles). The place is very clean and the manager Rex is a nice guy. Overall I would recommend this location for anyone wanting a "no frills" gym. :)

The owner needs more help than just managing a gym--he really should seek professional therapy, as he clearly doesn't have the skills needed to run a business or create a healthy, positive environment. I have not been going to the gym (my bad) so I thought nothing of it until I got a letter from collections requesting $157.15 owed for the months I didn't pay after my credit card was replaced. I contacted Revitalize requesting a refund since I didn't go to the gym those months, and they essentially told me too bad, that I had a binding contract. I don't argue the contract, but I do argue good customer service versus poor customer service. Most businesses would waive that $157.15 with the hopes of keeping a customer for future services. But not Revitalize. Fortunately, gyms are like car washes...they are everywhere, so I will not be funding businesses they care more about a penny they good customer service.
