This is NO joke. there are things you need to know about this place IF you want to get your iPhone fixed. Took it there for a screen and battery. Everything worked, just the screen was scratched and battery a little weak. Went back three times because Proximity Sensor didn't work, Fingerprint Reader didn't work and then Sound didn't work properly. Now: Fingerprint reader is flaky, Sound doesn't with with combo headphone/mic. The screen, by the way, is after market and looks horrible. These jokers broke my phone - simple as that. Save the repaid money and buys a used iPhone online or something. read more

Recently I had my iPhone 6s Plus screen replaced and shortly after 3 months my screen stopped working. I took the phone to Apple and they said that it was due to bad/cheap product and installation by the guys that replaced the screen. So I drove from the Apple store back to the Tucson Mall to have them work on their bad installation and they said it was past warranty and it would cost another $186 to get a new screen. DO NOT USE THEM!! Terrible customer service. They won't fix something that was clearly done improperly to begin with. Do yourself a favor and go straight to Apple. Brought my HP Pavilion to find out why battery was not charging. I paid $30 up front for diagnostic. I explained the issued I was having to the clerk, but he gave me a paper and asked me to fill out. I was told I'd get a call either by close of business that day, Saturday June 9 or if not, by closing on June 10. On June 11 I made a call to see if the diagnostic had been completed. I was told it had and that a battery would be needed. I asked about the cost and length of time it would take to get it. I was told it would be 3-5 business days. I was told that the $30 fee I'd paid would go toward the cost of the $79 battery. 5 days later I had to be the one to call and check to see if it was in. I was told it was not, that E-bay deliveries were not as quick as Amazon. The clerk told me it could be today when the mail came or tomorrow. I waited 24 hours and again called. I was told it was in and they would need the computer 1.5 hours to install it. When I checked out, the clerk wanted to charge me $79. There was no notation on the invoice that I'd already paid $30 and that amount was to be deducted from the cost of repair, so he had to check with a manager. I feel the customer service was less than satisfactory. The flip comments about Amazon, the inability of another clerk to understand my questions or answer them, the lack of tracking my $30 fee, the casual tossing of my device in its' back on the floor when I brought it in were all very concerning to me. read more

I had the agony of a shattered screen on my iPhone 6s. I called AT&T who recommended calling the Apple Store. They quoted $150. Yikes. I kept calling around and asking for suggestions. Gamers Warehouse offered the lowest price. I found them at Tucson Mall Upper Level close to Sears. Very fast ~ about 30 minutes and I paid $89! I used the money I saved on a mani/pedi at Red Persimmon Nails & Spa, right next door to Gamers Warehouse. It's also close to the Game store, pet store, and close enough to the food court so even if it took longer than 30 minutes, there's plenty to do while you wait. read more

My Iphone screen was coming unglued. I took it to Gamer Warehouse in Tucson Mall and they Replaced battery and glued screen down. The screen popped back up the next day. I took it back to them and they said it cannot be fixed as phone is warped. They did not say this when I brought it in the first time and charged me $80 to fix it. I then took phone to the Apple store and they said the phone is not warped and they glued it down and phone is fine now. So bottom line is Gamers Warehouse will take your money but not correct there bad work later. read more

I have not tried their repair service so I can't comment on that, but I have bought some console skins that are pretty nice. They have a nice selection of current and retro games, which make it fun to check out when you're at the Tucson Mall. The guys that work here are friendly and not annoying like they can be at GameStop. As for the price of their items, it is a little on the pricier side, but I understand that small businesses need to make a little more so I don't mind paying a little more. DO NOT GO HERE! I took my daughters iPad in to get the screen replaced and purchased a screen protector that's they put on. We bought a case and put the iPad in the case straight away. As soon as we gave it to her we noticed all the games were lagging really bad. I didn't think this was due to the new screen, but my mom insisted I take it in to ask anyway. I took it in and "Mikey" took it, took the rubber, shock resistant case off, and was playing around on it to see what the lag was that I told them about. I also showed him how the home screen button was sticking to the back of the screen protector they put on so it was getting stuck. For a good 5 minutes we were going to different apps so I could point out the lag and sticky button. He said he can see what I'm talking about, put it under warranty and would have the repair man call me the following day. The next day the repair man calls me, who is also the owner "Ramses" and says the iPad is not covered under warranty because of the huge crack going across the screen. And it's not just on the screen protector, it's under it on the screen. I went in there and sure enough, there's a huge crack going across the screen. I tell them that wasn't there before and even had the guy who I gave it to attest that there was no crack. The owner says "I looked at the tape and it wasn't dropped so there's nothing I can do." So there was NO crack when I took it in, and when I went to pick it up there's an obvious crack covering the entire screen. They broke my iPad and refused to take ownership and fix it. My daughters heart is broken because she was expecting to get the lag fixed and we ended up going home with a lagging iPad with a broken screen. I won't be going back there for anything. read more

Warning : We took in our iPad to get the cracked screen replaced and a glass cover added since it was still functioning perfectly. Gamers warehouse put on a new screen and the glass cover, and we immediately added a new large rubber case for additional protection. Afterwards the iPad apps lagged horribly and the touch screen barely worked. My daughter took it back in, the repairman removed the rubber case, saw that it lagged and said that they would fix it under the warrenty. The manager called my daughter a day later and said that there was a large dent in the corner from a drop and the screen was cracked all the way across and it was not covered. Three different family members saw the iPad when it was taken in and there was absolutely NO crack. The manager and owner refuse to take responsibility for it and wanted to charge more money for an iPad that is not even worth the cost of the repairs anymore. I would NOT refer this store. read more

I came in to Gamers Warehouse while I was in Tucson to fix my iPhone 6S+ cracked screen (LCD was fine). Gamers Warehouse was rated very highly on Yelp which is why I chose to go there. I only had to get the glass replaced. I must say that while I initially I did not have a great experience with the end result of the fix - I was alleviated by the staff. ***This is the same for all 3rd party repair companies that everyone should be aware and is advertised by these companies too - non-OEM parts (which no one really has except Apple) will undoubtedly not feel just like Apples. Everyone knows that iPhones are crazy expensive these days - so having a perfect fix is very important to me. 3rd party repairs in general are a fast and affordable fix - and honestly likely very good for most people. But I'm a very knit-picky person and want a perfect fix so as you could not tell at all its not Apple glass. Gamers Warehouse is a family run business by very nice people and helpful technical apt staff members. The person who worked on my phone was very quick - I could tell he's probably done thousands of repairs and could probably do it with his eyes closed! The sign of a good business and good people is they followed up with my post my return/refund to make sure that I was happy. They repaired a very niche device. They saved me $200, 2 weeks of waiting, and 2 years of work over Samsung's warranty service. However, they did not deliver what they promised! They said they were replacing a cracked battery connector. They did not. They soldered the paired wires to the connector, and now the tablet will not charge. I do not recommend this company. I can't believe all the good ratings. They must have big families to write them all. My experience was all lousy. I left my Kindle off for a battery replacement. I called twice a week for three weeks and was told it was hard to get parts. Finally I just showed up and it was magically ready. I was charged $60 by a smart mouth kid and took the Kindle home. It would not hold a charge at all. I opened it up myself and the battery was obviously old and useless. In my opinion they did nothing at all. Complete Ripoff! dawg, fixed my phone here, got it back in 30 min, they clearly replaced my screen with a used one because since ive fixed it, 1. my phone tends to overheat at times which as never happened before until i got it fixed there, 2. i had to take it back id say 2 weeks AFTER I "GOT IT FIXED" because my phone died and after it got charged enough to turn on , the actual touch screen wouldnt work. for days. id say maybe 3-4. so i take it back AGAIN, first they AUTOMATICALLY say "it looks like you dropped it which means we cant replace it" which is a straight lie because i didnt drop it, and after i told them what happened the guy said "ummm come back in 25 minutes, so i came back in 30. as im walking back to the store i see the same 2 people who originally helped me walking out the mall, then they proceed to say "oh its alll ready for you bro just go get it" which i proceeded to do, but it seems like they just left the new hire there because whoever helped me took 10 min. to give me my phone back. he swore i hadnt been there. very unprofessional, very LAZY, new staff required immediately all them for real lazy and unmotivated, i really felt like i was talking to a brick wall when i was speaking to them, and you can just tell by someones work ethic that they dont want to work there, because now a week later , my phone broke again because the touch screen dont work. with my phone just dying. these people working there clearly need new jobs and obviously dont know what they are doing. -191726292626263936/10 if i were to rate them. read more
