Never buy the little eshop card from these gamestops for the Nintendo Switch 2 especially this time of year they seem to have issues which is what I was told when I called a hotline number for Gamestop , well I wish the people higher in the company would tell there in-store employees this , I came in yesterday to buy a couple new Switch 2 games for my brother for his birthday one of them being one of these eshop cards that was supposed to be a code for Madden 26 but when we got home it was a totally different game , I called em and the guy ( think his name was James ) said yea no problem come back up here well figure it out , I come back up there and have to wait 15 minute's cause he wasn't there then he gets there and turns out every eshop card that was Madden 26 was actually a different game then he tells me it wont let him refund it every sale is final on eshop cards , he then says "Its not my fault " , yes it is an Nintendo issue but when u highlighted it on my receipt and rang it in like u didn't see which game it actually was and could've stopped the problem happening in the first place . This is ladies and gentleman is how these rich companies stay rich and the poor stay poor . Beware if you go in there, I know nothing about game systems but I was buying my family member a Christmas present so I go in there and I'm expecting GameStop to be knowledgeable and guide me in the right direction and let me know what I need. I walk in there to get a Nintendo switch, I got the switch but then I was told I can't use the switch if I don't have this $80 pass so I said OK then I get and next thing I know he's trying to get me to swipe at $500, apparently he put on a warranty on top of that without letting me know assuming I was going to pay for it. I was able to get that off, but then I get home and start reading through the package and apparently this Nintendo online membership I had to have in order to play was not needed. Ok, so I went back to the store to get it returned but nope, told that sale was final, buyer beware of Tony and the district manager!!! My experience today at this GameStop location was unbelievable. The employee named Deserae assisted us and there were a few noteworthy things that made my experience unpleasant. Firstly, I was going to buy a game that was 22 dollars, as marked on the sticker, but when I checked out she rang it up as 40 dollars and did not tell me the real price until I asked why it was so expensive. If she told me the price changed before I checked out, I would not have had an issue. It seemed like she was trying to cover up the real price. Furthermore, she did not show us the subtotal of each item on the pin pad, which made it seem like she was trying to trick us into spending more money. She should have honored the price of the game. Finally, she mentioned that she was adding the warranties to the games, but did not ask us if we wanted the warranties. Once she noticed these mistakes and we called her out, she seemed very unapologetic and it seemed like she did not care about us as the customers. This is a great location in terms of selection, but the service has gone into the gutter within the past few weeks. read more

They actually had the game. My 5 year old grandson wanted for his Birthday day! We've look every where. I travel almost 30 miles across town to get to this Store...and it was well worth it. I called two days earlier to see if the GameStop closest to me had the game. I was told that the game was sold out since Christmas and they only received a few at a time. The hint was that this Store was to receive one tomorrow and possibly I could reserve it. Soooo! I called them, spoke with the manager and he put it on reserve but if i didn't get there on time I could lose it. Speed limits? Well, we won't talk about them but I got there after work and traffic was terrible. Thanks GameStop for making a 6 year old very Happy!!! read more

I'm tired of people assuming that I'm getting a game for a boyfriend (that I don't have) or asking "what age is he?" ... assuming that I have a child. And why would you automatically assume I have a son? If I ever have a child and it's a girl - she'll be in here if she wants to :-P Yes, I'm a girl and I'm in Game Stop buying a game for myself. The store manager her "Jason" is pretty awesome! He definitely is very knowledgeable about what's in store and what's coming soon. Didn't even make it in the door three steps before I was greeted by him and his team. The store is well organized, and not dusty. I like that this store is wheelchair friendly! Most of them are not and you can't get to all sides of the merchandise that's for sale. Very wide selection of games and plush merchandise! read more

Even though Gamestop is a chain and most of us know what they offer, I like this location. The staff is fun and knowledgeable to talk to. We have even gotten codes to unlock parts of my kids games from them. Another think a like about Gamestop is that you can return a non working item to another store. This is great if you bought something across town when out on adventures and don't want to drive all the way back over there. They will also have something sent to your local store from another location. Nice again, not having to drive!! I have always had good experiences here and will continue to go back. read more

Not a big fan of this GameStop. Went in with asking assistance with putting on a screen protector and left with it not being put on nicely or well. Store never seems to have what I need didn't feel like what I asked was being answered well and didn't come out with what I needed at anytime, would not recommend. read more

Smh. Service is slow as ever. The guy Anthony that work on the register in an idiot. I returned a Xbox. The total was $235 including taxes and warranty. He tried to give me back $207 but luckily I counted it. He said the rest was taxes and you don't get that back. His coworker corrected him and told him to refund the entire amount. So he did, so I thought. Something told me before I walk out the store to count my money. I had to go back to the register and ask for the rest of my money. He reached under the counter, not in the register, to get the rest of my money. A$$hole. This is after being in a line with 6 people for about 25 min. This GameStop in particular is actually the worst one I have ever been to. The staff is incredibly rude and don't care about the customers. There have been multiple occasions where they sold me games that didn't work and then made it seem like it was my fault and wanted to refuse to accept the games. These people make the entire franchise look bad and I wouldn't recommend ever going here. read more
