My son and I went in for the first time and it was fun exploring with him. Clerk was nice. We have been back almost ever weekend for a month and the staff is always friendly. Pretty bad service. Had a couple of younger kids servicing the store on 7 July 2017. Went in to look for some 3DS games for a vacation trip, for a handheld to be shared among a good sized crowd. Was asked if I'd prefer used games or new. Asked for new. Checked out. Came home. Found two games outside of cellophane. Found one inside. Paid full/new price for all. Was given store display case for 2 of 3 games. Highly doubt games sold were new, will report to BBB. read more

Just had one of the worst retail experiences ever. Was trying to grab a limited edition Pokémon OLED switch, that was sold out for a while. Got to the store by 9:55am and was waiting for the door to open. Store opened few minutes late, which isn't a big deal. As soon as I walked in, I told Kathleen(the associate), that I'm looking to pick up a system, to add to my collection, which they just got back in stock. Right off the bet, she told me I definitely need a screen protector for it, which I told her I already purchased elsewhere. She tried to sign me up for their rewards, which I also politely declined. I could tell that she wasn't happy I said no to everything she wanted to add to the sale. I paid cash and she gave me a receipt and went to the back room to grab the system. She brought it out and gave me the item, and I've noticed right away that one of the corners is damaged/torn. I asked Kathleen to replace it, and explained that it is for my collection and it makes a huge difference to me. She told me she wouldn't do that, because it will screw up her inventory, due to serial number scanned. She actually told me she's one of the managers and there's nothing she can do about it. That is absurd! I worked in different retail stores before, and it would never be an issue to process such exchange. Apparently, GameStop could care less about customers and their expectations. This place is like candy corn and mall Chinese food: I know I'm going to end up disgusted, but I have to try it once in a while to remind myself. Today was no exception. I waited in a long line, only to be told that the game that I had picked up off the shelf wasn't in stock. The problem is as soon as I left they put it back on the shelf to aggravate the next person. They blame it on the video game companies forcing them to leave games on the shelves they don't have but I don't believe it. Everything is overpriced: everything I see there I've been able to get cheaper on EBay. read more

The employees at this store location need to be fired! All they care about taking money from the customers! We brought 3games from them and they didn't even bother putting the actual games in the cases. Our fault for not checking as well. After we returned, they managed to said they "forgot" and knew that they forgotten to put the games in the cases and didn't bother to contact us in any other way. Worse customer service ever! read more

Great experience at this GameStop Mar2021. Very knowledgeable staff and had everything that we were looking for. My son chatted with the staff for a while about the games and systems he has and ones that he wants. They had lots of great suggestions and they were perfectly tailored to his age. read more

Generally behind on current deals/offers, regardless of how long they've been out for unless it's the chain's typical "buy two get one free pre-owned". Many times, I've tried to participate in one, but I've been told they either don't exist or are online only. Even trade-in ones. Not only is this false (it's in their weekly ads or social media accounts as in-store), but the one on the other side of the mall doesn't have any problem doing exactly what this one says they can't do. While the staff are nice and the selection isn't bad, their inability to complete offers that are being advertised as in-store and minuscule pre-owned price decreases even for the paid power up rewards make them completely inferior to Best Buy and their GCU. If you're in the market for games, go to the Best Buy that's five minutes away. read more

Hopefully this is the gamestop located in the upstairs portion of the mall because yes this mall has 2 gamestop stores in it... Some of the people who work here at quite frankly rude. They seem fairly new, like they started in the last 6 months. I used to go into that store almost daily and I probably spent roughly $120 a week in there every week for the last 5 years but not any more. God help you if you want to return something or cancel a preorder. I think in the last 10 years ive probably made 2 or 3 returns at a gamestop 1 of which was at this location. As soon as they found out I wanted to return something that was still factory sealed they acted like I insulted their mothers. This place has awful customer service on pretty much every level. They dont listen to you when you say no to their pitch, they get very very pushy even if they see you every single day and every single day you say no thank you. Its like the are trapped in some bizzaro world. Adjust your message to the customer, learn how your customer shops and most certainly get to know your regulars. read more
