Robert helped us today in the store and he was so great!!! Very knowledgeable and so nice. We bought a PlayStation and some games. He was very thorough in letting us know about return policies, warranties etc.. only complaint I have is they didn't have many games compared to the store we had been to previously that day. Awful customer service. Sonny needs training on how to assist and answer customer's questions without creating a negative situation and cost the store to lose a large purchase. Maybe he needs a reminder that the store is there to make money and not drive the customers away. read more

I haven't gone into this Game Stop much since the remodel, and after coming in a few times in the last couple weeks, I see why. Employees are less than spectacular. They didn't greet me or my husband when we came inside, but yet did the next guy. They never ask us if we needed anything or offered to help us. Even my husband thought they should have at least checked in with us, stating the store wasn't that busy to prevent them from giving us some good customer service. The store is a pretty decent size, having more room and feeling less cramped than it did before the remodel and move. I do like that. Although, I think with the lack of customer service, I'd rather have a cramped store where they at least talked to you. The selection seems pretty decent, which I like. Although my husband couldn't find the specific game he wanted on our last visit, and since no one greeted us, he elected to go find it someone else. He wasn't in the mood to hunt down an employee to ask. It's very rare my husband will dislike a store or restaurant, being far more tolerant than I am, and even he said he isn't a fan. He would much rather go to the game stop at Valley River Center, There are also a lot of better local game stores around that are far better. Which I happen to agree with him on that one. read more

I ordered a used game from here for order pickup. I hadn't opened the game yet because I had to wait to get my gaming console out of storage. Just opened the game and the disc is not in the box. I was trying to find an old Wii game for my daughter that she wanted for her birthday. After making some local calls, I was running into dead ends. I happened to call Gamestop and they said that they had the game in Lebanon, OR. Later that day, the game was hand delivered by the Lebanon manager and I picked up the game in time for her birthday. Some of it was timing with the manger coming to Eugene and the other is just great customer service and an amazing staff. To any first timer to Gamestop, you would think their mission statement is to sap money from consumers whilst providing the shittiest service imaginable. I bought a pre owned copy of Modern Warfare because Cold War was out of stock, and I tried asking basic associate questions because i'm familiar with retail and i'm a retail manager, and she couldn't even comply or even conversate with me about basic everyday things. Horrid service, avoid wasting money here and opt towards other corporations like Walmart or Target or even Amazon for far better service experiences. read more

Horrible customer service. I walk in with my husband and friend today around 6:24 pm and the 2 people at counter, I'm assuming one manager and one employee looked directly at us as we were entering and said nothing. No greeting, nothing. They proceeded to have their personal conversation behind the counter with acknowledging any of the customers in store. Once we got closer to the counter, after about 5 minutes of being in store, we finally got greeted. I thought it was just us but everyone who came after us, they received no greeting either. I've worked at GameStop a while back and it was customary to greet guests as they entered. Customer service starts at the door in my opinion. read more

This gamestop is a bit small but i have seen smaller; reguardless, it has a big selection of games and all the latest games and gaming accesories. The staff is very friendly and I especially like the selection of collectors edition stuff that they have that would usually be sold out fast in a more visited, bigger store. read more

This place sucks. Sorry to sound harsh but just being honest, that's my take. I stopped in while waiting for a bus and it just sucks. Workers were ok, not rude at least. There was just literally nothing I cared about because they only have new, trending games. Go to local video game stores & you'll see they have all that stuff plus a lot more. Generic chain stores always pale in comparison to the real thing. A place like Video Game Headquarters, CD Game Exchange, or Big City Games will pay more for used games, have a vastly superior selection (including the stuff at GameStop), they will charge less and it will be a lot more fun to shop around. read more

Not good customer service. The employees always try to up sell you on crab you don't need or used stuff. Especially the lady that is always working there. She is the worst. And when I politely say no thank you they proceed with guilt tripping me or acting rude because they couldn't make a sale on me, so I'm no longer worth good customer service. I starting going to Best Buy for all my games, way better rewards program and better customer service. read more

Used to be my favorite place to go to in this mall when I lived here. Went in today for nostalgia's sake and the store seemed pretty much the same when I moved. A bit small compared to most Gamestops out there though. The guys working there seemed nice. read more

Store sucks, and always has. I bought my refurbished ps3 from this game stop not even a year ago, i took it in with all the chords and a controller. Given, the controller was sticky. I would have understood if they didn't want the controller but because the ps3 has a scuff in the face plate by the power button(which can be easily fixed) they told me they'd give me $12 dollars for the console. That is not even close to ok especially cause they'll just turn around and sell it for 120-150! not to mention game stops cut all the chords to headsets and controllers, plus cut disks when they throw them away, why not donate them!? game stop is pathetic and i will never waste my time there again. read more

A pretty small gamestop even for gamestop sized shops. The staff was friendly but i noticed the selection of games were limited in comaprison to other gamestops. It had all mainstream games and consoles but it didnt feel like a nornal gamestop. read more

I will give Game Stop five stars. The store is in the Gateway mall. Game Stop sells a bunch of games like Dragon Ball Z titles. I try to go there every month. I think the best things in life are games, food and football. Game stop has the video games covered. The GameStop atmosphere is bright and modern. The game store is decorated with games and makes me feel like home. The customer service is slow but totally worth it. Right when you walk in the door, your jaw drops to the floor because of how many video games there are in the store. I like the games because they are really cool and they are in good condition. I really like, Burnout Paradise City the game. If I could change one thing, it would be to make the prices lower really low. I would recommend people to buy games from GameStop.
