I went in to buy a new headset, 1 employee in the store. I walked in and I saw the employee on the phone didnt say anything or do anything to acknowledge me. I found what I was looking for and proceeded to wait for the employee to get off the phone. He didnt acknowledge me at all with a I'll be with you or nothing. I called this location 3 times before coming in to make sure the games we wanted were in stock, no answer. We walk into an empty store and do not get acknowledged by the girls at the counter at all. We go look for the games we came in for and couldn't find them and go ask them if they have them in stock. They just sit there and say ya and don't even get up to show them where the games are. We eventually find the games on our own and when it's time to be rung up one girl was just standing there and the other had to tell her we were waiting to be helped. We get home from the store and the cases had no games in them, I call the store and again no answer. Then we have to go back to the store. When we walk in it's empty again and this time they acknowledge us because they noticed we were just there and apologize and get us our games. I don't play video games but my husband does. I have however purchased an iPhone and Apple Watch from this location. Both super good condition and less than half price! They also at times have tablets so check in if you're in the market for these items. Husband says that they are pretty good here with selection of new games. There customer service is usually pretty on point, and parking is easy. read more

Today dec 13 at 3pm : I feel so much disappointed with the guy works here at this shift. I hope the manager could read this to improve your customer service. I order a charger on GameStop web, and it did not work . I bring it back for return / exchange whatever they could do. I have my order confirmation on my email , I have my bank information about my payment and the package. This is my first time to return package to GameStop.This guy didn't accept my return and ask me have to have package slip which put in the box when they delivered, if not he would not able to do any thing. Ok!!! I am back gone, try to look online about return information : and see what I found: i just need to sign in and get the package slip on my phone: can print or just show the picture to the staffs at store to return. I took my son to this location today for his birthday. We come here often and I always recieved great service here. Everyone is always very nice and helpful. As soon as we walked in we were greeted, and given the deals of the day. As we shopped the employee talked with us and was just overall very personable. I really enjoy coming here, even in the past if I ever had a question they've always helped with no hesitation, I know at some stores it might seem like an inconvenience to ask for help but not here, they are always welcoming and I appreciate that very much. read more

So I reserved an item on line, one that was on clearance. I was as worried it might not get held for me, because I reserved it before the store opened. To my surprise, I got an email confirm at 9:45AM ( before opening). So I swung by and met the most congenial and friendly gentleman, who promptly had both reserved my item before I got there, and brought it to me to when I did. I have to tell you that all of my experiences at Game Stop are positive but this last one took it to the next level. I had purchased a WII U system the night before and it was not working correctly at all. My whole family spent hours trying to get it to work and scouring the internet for answers. I had so much anxiety went I went to bed that night because some of the reviews about the Wii U were rather frightening. Needless to say I was starting to regret my purchase. The next morning my husband called the Woodland Game Stop and scheduled for us to bring in the console to Shaw when he arrived at noon. My husband, myself and I walked in with the Wii U and explained what was happening. He plugged the system in and immediately told us that something wasn't right with the unit and he (Shaw) was going to make it right for us. He could hear there was something wrong with the fan just as soon as he plugged it in. Immediately, all of my anxiety that I had had was all gone. He took such good care of me and my family that I will absolutely never go anywhere else for games or consoles. read more

I came here to check the place out since I read a lot of good reviews about it. I frequent the location in vacaville since it's closer but I figured I'd go see what they have in stock. All the workers there were extremely helpful and friendly, EXCEPT for the manager. She must have been ina bad mood that day, or, i don't know, either way I don't give a fuck. She was kinda hostile and bitchy. I took some games to trade in and when I told her I checked out the value on their app, she told me in was WRONG. She argued that the offer was only if I used the credit towards the new Call Of Duty, she was lying. I pulled out my phone and showed her, she then said that ok I was right but that was the amount given only to powerup reward members. I assured her that I was, which apparently she took offense to. After that I was just an asshole in her store. I also overheard her talking shit about a fellow employee to other employees because apparently he made a comment that she didnt like. She seems like a b$%@ and I feel sorry for her family. Probably never going back there again. read more

My husband went in tonight to get us new controllers, the guy in charge Spencer was very rude to my husband about him wanting new ones and not refurbished he told my husband that it is people like him ruining the corporation and that he would rather see him walk out the door then to sell him new controllers... I'm pretty sure that's not how customer service works very disappointed guess we will start ordering stuff off amazon then bother with this store. I have been to a lot of GameStop's and have even worked at several. Do not trade your systems here. I have an original Xbox One. I traded it in for the purpose getting the newer Xbox One X. My system works perfectly including the controller. The system was charged a refurbished fee due to dust and some "peel" of plastic from heat use. I didn't feel like driving over 20 miles and the time to get to another Xbox One X. Also this was the Scorpio edition and sorta of cool. well i am gonna give this place a five, everytime i come in the staff and mangers are so cool and laid back, they make you feel welcome, as soon as there a new launch managers or workers are already cheering you on saying good things, the best part is they will tell you the truth of the game if its worth buying or not, these guys are true gamers, so even though i dont buy that game i still buy somthing else cause they treat me so well, they are never pushy and are always talking about upcoming games and give you great deals on the reserves read more
