How is the pricing on gunpla?

I would say our price is fair. Usually close to the MSRP.

    Do they have perfect grades?

Yes we do. Many of them in stock now.

I grew up in the golden era of gaming, the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s when weekends meant blowing into dusty cartridges, late-night multiplayer battles, and flipping through Game Informer magazines dreaming about the next big release. Those games weren't just entertainment, they were core memories of my childhood. Now, seeing my son discover and fall in love with those same games and magazines has been something really special. Ever since we moved to Sacramento a few years ago, every visit to 1-Up has felt like stepping into a real-life time machine. The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by nostalgia, memories, and pure joy. Whether it's seeing shelves packed with retro classics or spotting consoles you haven't touched in 20+ years, it instantly takes you back. The owner and staff are all incredibly cool, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about gaming history. I'm always blown away by the little-known facts and stories they know about these old-school titles. You can tell this isn't just a business to them, it's something they truly love. Special shoutout to Travis for the amazing customer service and for hooking my son up with a PS2 Slim in fantastic working condition. Seriously, where else can you walk in today and find a retro console like that, fully functional, along with a huge selection of games ready to relive those memories? I would love nothing more than to see businesses like 1-Up continue to succeed and thrive in the face of online competition. Places like this keep the memories, community, and fun alive for old gamers and new generations alike. Sacramento is lucky to have them. Game over? Not here at 1-Up, the memories just keep hitting "Continue."

They carry video games from a plethora of consoles. They also have collectibles, box/collector sets, videos, etc. Long story short, I left with a pile of goodies. I thought the store was spacious to walk around with other people around. The displays were great. I liked how they converted an old grocery store veggie stand into a display on the right side. The only bummer is the tape and stickers used on the merchandise. I bought some mint in box items and the sticker price tag was so hard to peel off. It left a very bad sticky residue. I was able to clean it off most of the items. But, I worried that the paper boxes would be damaged if I used a solution. The staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions. I enjoyed the little lounge area in the front right while waiting for friends to checkout.

This time we visit Retroactive because I was in search for some games for my Nintendo DS lite. I found 2 games and I was so happy. The price was reasonable and i love it. We also speak with the owner and he was so nice and helpful. We were talking about games and we notice that he really loves what he is doting his store. We really recommend this store. I am so glad that we have this store near to our home. You can also find vintage vinyl records, PlayStations games, Xbox games and more. We enjoy our time and our kids were so happy.

From vintage gaming to records across all genres, this place has it all and is quickly becoming a Suisun City favorite and Bay Area day trip destination. Retroactive also hosts shows in their space which are a ton of fun and bring the community together. We left with an Xbox storage component to increase the memory of the console. It was a great value at half the cost of what we found at online merchants and we were happy to support a local business. We also couldn't resist the store merch and got a sweatshirt and t-shirt!

We booked the legendary party package which includes: the party room , 2 large 1-topping pizzas, 12 organic cupcakes, 1 big birthday cupcake, joystick shirts for the birthday boy, arcade cards, plates, tablecloth, balloons, and water. We booked this months in advance, and the process was very easy. A few days before the party someone reached out and confirmed everything we wanted and we decided to add some reserved tables and an extra pizza. When we arrived everything was set up and they let us use their fridge for some of the food and sodas we brought. The owners are always amazing here. We got the party room for a little over an hour, then we were able to move everything to the tables we reserved and the party continued for hours! All the kids and adults had fun and were surprised we were still there hours later. We think the price was worth it, for everything. The only suggestion would be to give the family an option to come early to put food or drinks in the fridge. Either way we will continue to take our boys to this amazing gaming place, and would recommend others check it out for their parties.

The good: it's in a location with plenty of parking, it seems safe, and it's clean. The staff were friendly. Best of all, the children, ranging from 2-12 absolutely loved it. What could make this business better: 1. Greet everyone who walks into the business, ask if they have been there before and if not, give them a tour. 2. Cater more to adults. Have a much bigger selection of beverages and snacks for children and adults. 3. Have multiple TVs with one for adults and perhaps some children and teens playing sports, one playing something for pre-teens, and another for teens. I didn't pay for anything (although I would have purchased beverages and snacks if there had been a better selection), so I can't write about the price or value. Don't take my review wrong: this isn't a bad place at all. It's a great idea. It's just not a great experience for adults.
