I went here for a kids birthday party. They have separate party rooms upstairs. As soon as you walk…read morein there are digital boards that tell you which numbered room your party is in. Though there was no host at the front desk at all which was a bummer. There is a coat rack outside of room with number tags to take. The kids love it especially for the laser tag room down the hall from the rooms. The rooms are small and narrow so if you have a lot of people coming there is room acrosd from the party rooms on same floor for parents to mingle in the lounge like area. The staff for the party rooms are a great help when it comes to setting up, directing and time to eat and cake time etc.... Once you are out that room though it may be hard to contain the kids because there's is a lot to do downstairs w prepaid cards as part of the package you choose. They also have the human claw game. The reason I have it 3 stars was because there was no front desk staff and the amount of tickets you have to get to get a decent prize is ridiculous. The quality of prizes are not that great for your ticket amount and they are not very exciting. It is a great place for ages 7-12. It's like a mock version of something like Dave and Busters. Parents make sure to keep an eye on your kids because its easy to run down thr kind stairs from the party room.

We LOVE IT HERE! The upgrade is awesome! You can now order your food at a kiosk and sit to play &…read moreeat! My son and I come here for 1/2 off games for double the fun & we can stay for hours! The person who runs the kiosk for redemption is also super kind & helpful always when I see him! ** if you're a beer snob, they also offer Maine Lunch Beer which is such a plus!! Overall, very fun place to bring your kids and or even just come for a date night!

Let me start this review by saying I am NOT from New England and only recently moved to MA. This is…read morean entirely new game that nobody outside of this area has even heard of let alone played. I was invited by some friends as a sub for league night not knowing what I was getting into. I was so nervous that I wouldn't get the hang of it, and I really didn't do great, but for my first time I broke 54 twice hahaha. The ladies I played with had an absolute blast and were encouraging which helped. I tried to emulate some of the clearly skilled players but it's a challenge to get used to those little balls! I'm used to playing "big ball" as everyone kept calling it. Anyhow, the game is candlepin. For those who don't know - they are basically straight sticks that are laid out in the same pattern as big ball bowling. You use a ball the size of a bocce ball (larger than a softball) that is pretty light with no holes. You get 3 chances to clear all 10 pins. There is some sort of skill involved that I couldn't quite comprehend. I saw everything from releasing the ball low to the ground right at the entrance of the lane, to people releasing in the air halfway down all having similar success. I witnessed curvature of throws and straight down the line all having success. I'm guessing it's more of a luck thing than a skill thing given I learned nobody at that alley in however many years of history has broken 250 score. I showed up hungry in the hope there was a cafe, but there was no food and I'm unclear on the drinks situation. People had them but I didn't see how they were acquired. Note to self - eat before you go or bring snacks! The gentlemen behind the counter were a HOOT! I rented shoes and they gave me the rundown of not only my team but how the game works. They were ribbing people over the mic which was so fun. This place has been around for a long time and the regulars are embedded into the history. The parking situation is pretty great. There is a lot adjacent to the building with lots of space, and an overflow lot across the street. All in all this is a great alley with character and I'm super excited to go back and practice.

Feels like stepping into a Time Machine. Cash only. Honestly, candle pin is so much more fun than…read morewhat I always thought was normal bowling that I'm not sure I can go back
