The staff for the party rooms are a great help when it comes to setting up, directing and time to eat and cake time etc.... Once you are out that room though it may be hard to contain the kids because there's is a lot to do downstairs w prepaid cards as part of the package you choose. They also have the human claw game. The reason I have it 3 stars was because there was no front desk staff and the amount of tickets you have to get to get a decent prize is ridiculous. The quality of prizes are not that great for your ticket amount and they are not very exciting. It is a great place for ages 7-12. It's like a mock version of something like Dave and Busters. I was invited by some friends as a sub for league night not knowing what I was getting into. I was so nervous that I wouldn't get the hang of it, and I really didn't do great, but for my first time I broke 54 twice hahaha. The ladies I played with had an absolute blast and were encouraging which helped. I tried to emulate some of the clearly skilled players but it's a challenge to get used to those little balls! I'm used to playing "big ball" as everyone kept calling it. Anyhow, the game is candlepin. For those who don't know - they are basically straight sticks that are laid out in the same pattern as big ball bowling. You use a ball the size of a bocce ball (larger than a softball) that is pretty light with no holes. You get 3 chances to clear all 10 pins. There is some sort of skill involved that I couldn't quite comprehend. I saw everything from releasing the ball low to the ground right at the entrance of the lane, to people releasing in the air halfway down all having similar success. I witnessed curvature of throws and straight down the line all having success. I'm guessing it's more of a luck thing than a skill thing given I learned nobody at that alley in however many years of history has broken 250 score. I showed up hungry in the hope there was a cafe, but there was no food and I'm unclear on the drinks situation. People had them but I didn't see how they were acquired. Note to self - eat before you go or bring snacks! The gentlemen behind the counter were a HOOT! I rented shoes and they gave me the rundown of not only my team but how the game works. They were ribbing people over the mic which was so fun. This place has been around for a long time and the regulars are embedded into the history. The parking situation is pretty great. There is a lot adjacent to the building with lots of space, and an overflow lot across the street. All in all this is a great alley with character and I'm super excited to go back and practice.

We came here for the first time for GoKarting for Father's Day and had a great time!…read more It is a bit of a loud environment but the tunes playing were enjoyable. Even though we signed waivers in advance there was a computer snafu and they had to redo them for our whole party making the check in a fairly long process. In general the communication/ process for getting ready and starting the GoKarting didn't feel super smooth as the passenger but you could tell the staff was organized and knew what they were doing. They were also super flexible when one round they accidentally had child settings on some of our karts and let us redo the round. The go karting was super fun and it was great that we got to do both tracks. Special shout out to manager David. We had dressed up as our dad from various eras for Father's Day and he loved our vibe so much he offered us a free round of virtual darts! The darts were fun although not as thrilling as the GoKarting, kinda similar vibe to bowling. Overall we had a great time go karting and staff was super pleasant and helpful, would recommend.

We played candlepin, which was a lot of fun. Our fun was short lived when we were done bowling. It costs $30 an hour for candlepin. After bowling for an hour, we went to the counter to check out. (You can't "stop the clock" yourself at the lane). There are separate counters for the bowling area and arcade area. There was only 1 girl working both counters. I actually didn't see anyone else working in the whole place. That said, we waited approximately 15 minutes for the girl to finish waiting on a family at the arcade counter before coming over to the bowling counter to check us out. We were charged $38.50; $30 for bowling and $8.50 to stand around waiting to cash out!
