I live in Austin, so honestly I was not expecting much when it came to Beaumont, Texas having a decent jump park. To my surprise, it's great! HUGE floor plan, with a party area, arcade games, snack bar and different jumping areas. The huge trampoline jump part is separated by different age groups...but i'll be honest, the signs didn't keep my little sisters from going to whatever part they wanted - they can't read! There's a designated toddler area also. The place is extremely clean, thankfully, and the staff was nice. The only weird thing to me is the "no denim" part. Out of all the parks I've been to, this is the only one that refuses to allow denim materials to be worn. I asked, out of curiosity/shock and it turns out that the denim material wears away at the trampolines. Makes sense. tl;dr Clean, large jump park. Don't wear denim.

Although there wasn't much they could do independently, we loved that it wasn't busy and the kids could enjoy some pool time. We tried rinsing the kids off before leaving but were grossed out by the bathroom. The curtains had mold and as a mother with a little one who has sensitive skin and allergies, that was a no for me. Kennedy introduced himself as the guy who was taking care of animals since 5 generations and he is studying to be a vet. The main mahout was a small guy and he was hilarious. He did most of the talking about all the animals. These elephants are rescue elephants which have been handed over by the zoo for various reasons, or, so I understand. There are 3 elephants Paige with longest teeth, Jeanie with a little short ones , and Krissy with none. With poaching increasing, the number of Krissy's are increasing. That will keep them safe I guess. Not sure why the previous reviews are so brief. We got to learn about them, feed them carrots, even phones if u r willing to give away ( ha ha- Paige really seemed to want them), how to keep their foot and nails in shape, bathing them so on and so forth. This was the first time I had heard a live trumpet and it was adorable. In the end we posed for pics. They are tamed and trained no doubt, but seemed to be enjoying our company and well treated by their owners. They have plenty of parking. Tickets are purchased online, most often they are open only one weekend a month. Restrooms are available. Food not allowed, but a bottle of water is ok. Got to meet Abu the camel, his partner, a zebra and a billy goat and his family too. I wanted to hold one and did not know how to- one of the helper guys I approached said just pick them up and hold - really ! Then some other fellow visitor helped.

We drove well out of our way to stop here and even got a hotel for the night because we arrived later than expected. It was 100% worth it! There are other locations in Louisiana where you can hold an alligator, but here it is absolutely free. Every person we came in contact with was warm and friendly. They told us all about the gators, from their ages, to what they feed them and how they live at the Chateau. We learned that they paint their nails and even have a chart so you can tell how old the hatchlings and so much more. The highlight for me was obviously holding the baby gator but for my husband it was seeing the giant snapping turtle they have living there. He must have watched it for 20 minutes. It was like seeing a dinosaur. They have tons of great information about things to see and do in the area and the cutest gift shop area with gator plushies and water bottles that say things like "See you later, alligator!". Everything here was just so cute and fun. I was smiling the whole time. They also had clean restrooms and plenty of parking.
