We got charged an extra 25 dollars for aggressive behavior because a lady decided to put her hand in his cage and got scared. Weird, you just let anyone walking thru the back, put their hands in cages? safely and nicely done John. We told them that our dog does not like men, so who gets their pant leg pulled? a A man working there. Read the room, John. All of a sudden we receive unprofessional texts while on vacation saying that our dog was not welcome back. Professional? I would say not. After how our dog was treated, the idea of bringing him back is unrealistic Upon arrival, he was the only one NOT barking and he let a woman working there go in his cage and get his things ready while she was petting him. MY oh MY that is aggressive behavior. long story short, I've never given a bad review but this one made me so mad, I had to. Take your dog somewhere else, if you truly care. Lastly, don't believe a word John says, he will sell a cow to a vegan to make the extra buck.

I was embarrassed that I needed help, I've always trained my pups on my own in the past. But I really needed them this time and they came through like champs. I feel like they supported me as much as my dog. I struggled with the emotional side of my situation and they really helped me set my fears aside and trust the help they gave both me and my giant puppy. That said, after spending time at Updawg for daycare and overnight boarding, we've seen a complete turnaround in her behavior. What's incredible is that this transformation didn't come from formal training sessions--we simply boarded her while traveling. Her improvement is 100% due to the environment and care she's received at Updawg. While we'll always be mindful (she's still an animal, after all), I now have peace of mind knowing she can interact with other dogs. That's something I never thought I'd be able to say. Another huge win: nail trims. She used to need a "doggy chill pill" just to get through them, but thanks to the gentle and loving approach from the Updawg staff, sedation is no longer needed.
