The suite consisted of a living room, bed room and bathroom. Even the bathroom was huge. In the morning I was greeted by a beautiful picturesque view of the falls. The Inn also provided a Continental Breakfast, and the best thing ever for a morning, a Kureg coffee maker with a selection of various coffees. The host was amazing, showing us the rooms and describing anything we might need to know. The place is Amazing and I suggest a stay when ever you're in the area. You might not want to spend all day at the Travelodge but it's fine for a vacation base. It's clean and everything works. Negative points are the lighting and Wi-Fi. But one huge positive for me is the location, if you're into small towns. So many motels these days are in the middle of nowhere, next to a highway and a gas station. Travelodge is walkable to food, coffee and the scenic river and canal area.

Fieldstone Farm is a breath of fresh air in a world full of cookie-cutter hotels and motels. You can stay in a cabin, or one of the other townhouses in the middle of "Farm Central" upstate New York. I always see a multitude of wildlife. They just got a new boat with a shade for the big pond, so you can hang out all day on the water without getting sunburn. They have some nice amenities like a tennis court, volleyball court, basketball court, game room/arcade, a nice size in the ground outdoor pool, billiards room and another smaller pond for fishing. There's a nice rolling stream too. The view from the top of the hill is absolutely stunning. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Pictures don't do it justice. I can't wait to go back.

Once we figured out the route we found it to be quite convenient to Cooperstown and surrounding attractions, and the views are magnificent. The stars at night were incredible. I loved the area and was glad to be away from the traffic and congestion up and down the lakefront. The owners of the Fieldstone Farm, John and Jeannie, were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel only offered noon or $175 to stay until 2:30. Nice property otherwise, but that policy is unreasonable. A couple extra hours for a loyal guest shouldn't cost almost two hundred dollars.
