I am in constant significant back pain with a herniated disc, and I was referred to Dr. Vermuri to get an epidural injection ASAP. Meeting with Dr. Vermuri went fine and he said to schedule an epidural with his staff. I was told by his staff when checking out that I would hear back from the scheduling person within one to two days. After three days I called to find out when my epidural was scheduled for since I had not heard anything. I was told by someone named Amy that it is typically a week or more before an appointment can even be scheduled, and that they were currently running three weeks out AFTER you were scheduled. When I asked why in the world it takes a week to even get a procedure scheduled, I was told "the only person that schedules epidurals is Heidi, and she can take a week or more to schedule a procedure since she multitasks like the rest of us and has many other duties beside scheduling." So, I am in constant stabbing pain and at the mercy of a single multitasking "when she can get around to it" scheduler to even get on the books. That is one star. Appalling.

My 8 month old was still very fussy and pulling at his right ear on Sunday 5/3 so we brought him back in thinking that the medication did not cure his ear infection. He saw Troy Kaiser and he said he still had a right ear infection and called him in cefdinir, which is stronger. I took him in today 5/5 for his 8 month check up and his PCP was angry to learn my son was diagnosed with an ear infection when his ear is perfectly normal, no redness or irritation inside the ear. He had us completely stop the medication. Doctor's are supposed to be trustworthy but always trust your gut and get a second opinion- especially when it comes to giving an 8 month old unnecessary medication for an issue he does not have.

I have been coming to this doctor's office for over a decade. While the surroundings are a little…read morebit ugly, it is right off a major highway (hwy 10), so it is convenient for folks who live in this area. My doctor practices from this location and I would follow her anywhere. The receptionists are usually pleasant. This is really nice given the stresses of working in a medical office. The waiting area is large and clean with a big-screen TV, various magazines and a few toys for children. Rarely have I had a long wait when I come here. The average time of my entire appointment is about 1 hour to 1.5 hours. That includes waiting for the Doctor before the appointment, talking with her about my health (and asking questions) and checking out afterward. This office has been always efficient and respectful of my schedule at every interaction. If a service is promised, such as calling a specialist to make an appointment for me, it is completed and I am given the pertinent information in a timely manner. My physician (Dr. Rondo) is considerate and thorough. She asks questions, listens to the my answers and makes positive suggestions for a healthy lifestyle. In every appointment, I have always felt that I was her only patient that day. She always listens to my issues and never rushes through the appointment. While I know that I could drive a much shorter distance to see a primary care physician, I prefer to drive here so that I can receive considerate, thorough and attentive care.

But if they're in-network, it's easily affordable depending on your plan. Be prepared to have to stay alllllll day if scheduling is screwed up and they don't know what they're doing. COMPLAINT.....My son was scheduled for surgery 11/13/23, at 3 pm, at Metro. He received a call from…read moresomeone on the Friday before, saying his surgery might get delayed, but if he didn't hear anything, to be there at 2 pm Monday. He did not here anything so he arrived at 1:45 pm and checked in and they said nothing to him about it being delayed, they did make sure they collected his balance due though! He and my husband saw his name, Tyler Simms, on the surgery board and it said his surgery was now scheduled for 4:30 pm. They patiently waited, and he was finally called back at 4:45 pm for prep. At 5:30 pm our son walked out from the back telling us his surgery had been canceled because it was too late in the day?!?!?!? Did they not know this any sooner, we truly feel they did!! What reputable facility does that to someone?! He had not eaten or drank since midnight, only to lose an entire work day of pay, and so did my husband, since they both had to take off work for NOTHING! They told my son to just call the office in the morning to see when his surgery could be rescheduled. They have since rescheduled his surgery, but not offered anything for their lost wages. This is not right for a facility to do that to anyone!!

A friend recommended I try it here as Dr. Seremet is new and just getting his practice going. He spent quite a while interviewing me and getting the facts and details of my medical history. He has a very adequate office and is conveniently located. He has a patient portal set up on the internet. You can go there and see all the information about yourself and even converse with him by email. I think I'll be very pleased with him.
