The Gap store is located at the Outlets of Lake Elsinore. As anyone who has visited this shopping mall recently understands, there is virtually no business left in this mall. The Gap is one of the few established shopping stores that still remain. Meaning, when you go to this outlet mall, it's not like going to say Cabazon where you'll find hundreds of shops. Again, this is one of the few remaining established businesses. Once inside the store you'll find what you will find at most Gap shops that are located within outlet malls. They have all of the stuff that all the Gap stores have, at a little bit of a discount. I've never found any great deals at this store. Yes, things are a little bit discounted, and sometimes they bring certain items down a lot. But, this is nothing that you won't find it every Gap store in every shopping center across the country. This store is well organized. It's very clean. And, the staff are all very nice. So, in terms of the overall atmosphere, this is a good place to go. From my experience, however, you just not going to find any super deals. This is just something to keep in mind. Don't expect a miracle. Overall, if you're looking for what the Gap offers, this is one of the places to get it. It's fully stocked, it has a lot of variety, and you may find that deal you're looking for. read more

I entered the store and the first thing I saw was a display with jeans that were marked sixty percent off lowest ticketed price. My size was marked $79.99 but other sizes were marked $69.99. I asked the employee if they would honor the price since it was the same style jeans, and she said, no, because corporate told them they need to mark up the jeans in order to provide the discount. She said they were too short staffed to finish marking them up. I requested that because some of them were marked at the lower price that they honor the lowest ticketed price. She told me it was the manager's discretion whether they chose to honor the lowest ticketed price, and she was the manager and refused to honor the price. read more

I hadn't been here in years so I felt it was time to give this place another look .Parking was easyyyy. It was clean, organized ,and I found several things that I didn't know I needed. Even though it is a factory store they were stocking in season stuff.I tried on a few things that if I were to purchase online would have been a hassle to return. Went in waited in a long line , which was ok since it's after Xmas I get it , had an online order wanted a simple exchange cashier was rude tried telling me i purchased this Sherpa hoodie a very long time ago because they don't carry those .. well online they do miss I ordered it Nov. 29th for a gift it's too small, she continued to tell me no it had to have been longer ... I had the order on my phone and when she scanned the label it also let her know when it was purchased ..so she had to credit my card as it clearly was refundable but my goodness if you don't want us to return online orders in store please post that .. what a hassle! next time I'll just return it thru Staples .. .. I won't go there again one cashier can ruin your whole take on a store. read more

Guilty of loving the gap. Guilty for hating the customer service. This store has major potential. It's not clustered and it's decently organized but the pricers or whoever a job is it to label things needs to work on it, majorly. The few things I cannot stand the most are poorly displayed products and mislabeled sales items. My biggest retail pet peeve is having to check out and arguing with a cashier how it's not my fault these items are under an incorrect sign or how the sale ended a million days ago to get the correct price. 1. It's embarrassing. 2. You're holding up a line. 3. It's probably going to happen again. 4. You get in a bad mood and I get what the sale is stated. So you lose all because your employees forget to take signage down and get mad at customers for not knowing which sales are valid from when... Seriously ridiculous. With better staffing and a bit more organization this gap could bring in much more sales. There's a specific employee who picked multiple arguments with two other women in my little time being there... She scoffs at her manager and then at the end of a transactions she expects a perfect customer survey. To the staff... Relax people, you're an employee not a business owner. Eye rolls forever, seriously. Love the gap, hate the employees. read more

Hi! I liked the store and all the products they had when I visited! I particularly liked the jeans as they were a good fit for me and they had a variety of sizes. The store is very clean and the staff are maintaining good customer service. They are always asking if customers need help. The shirts were also really nice especially fit for the summer time. They are scammers... I have been here 3 times and every time I try to pay for an item, they attempt to charge me a price which is higher than the price tag. They are hoping you don't notice and then continue to pay. They do this EVERY single time I come here. Other customers have the same problem.....whenever I walk past the counter I frequently overhear a customer telling the cashier that the price is Wrong. They also will attempt to sign you up for "frequent shopper discount" card which is also a scam. What they don't tell you is that it is a credit card. To make things worse.... the zipper on the blue jeans I bought broke in less than a month. There are already holes forming on one of the shirts I got as well. read more

Great selection, great deals, great prices - it can't get any better! Love their kids clothes and their quality, they last us forever. Women's and men's stuff is good, nothing to complain about, wife is okay with their athletic stuff, although it's no NIKE DRI-FIT. However, we've been happy customers of the GAP/Banana Republic brands and will be returning to their stores. read more

This spot is pretty cool. We come here when we visit family. The staff is very nice and helpful. I got lots of goodies and saved a lot. I tried on a good amount of clothes and the woman at the fitting rooms was very understanding (since I had two kids with me) and kept going back and forth. We came out with about 10 items and spent about $125. Good times. read more

Standard Gap Outlet. Prices are reasonable, especially the stuff that's on sale. Seem to be well stocked with sizes.

I really do love shopping here...I love this brand because it is made better than most thus it tends to last longer. I also shop here often enough that I get some pretty sweet coupons just about each month (right now I have one for $25 off $75). That being said, I really hate how they go back and forth offering military discounts. I'm not saying I EXPECT a discount from them, but their sister company, Old Navy, offers an additional 10% discount to military members no matter the day of the week or if the item is already on sale. They've gone from offering the discount, to not offering it, to only offering it certain days of the week, to only offering it on items that aren't on sale (HELLO! It's an O-U-T-L-E-T!). And when I ask if they offer the discount and they say "no" they always follow that up by asking if I'm a AAA member - so they can give the discount to a AAA member but not to the military...humph! read more
