The keypads on the exterior doors are also unreliable, and on multiple occasions, I or other residents have been locked out of the building due to malfunctioning systems. Management is difficult to get in touch with, and communication is inconsistent at best. One of the most frustrating aspects of living here has been the lack of transparency around fees, especially during lease renewals. Charges are not always clearly broken down in the resident portal, and trying to get clarification often leads to unhelpful or dismissive responses. There are definitely better-managed and more reliable options in the area.

He is a control freak, he unnecessarily harasses tenants, he is condescending, and he lies. For example, he won't keep the pool open during summer hours when people could actually swim, he only allows use of the recycling bin on Tuesdays, and he tells people that he is building a dog park but has yet to build one after 2 years, and he won't allow a community BBQ area, and when there is a crime on the property, he won't inform tenants so as not to unnecessarily panic them. With all the complains, I'm not sure why he hasn't been transferred to another location but for a 5 start rating, this property manager has to go.

On the day of move out I went in person to leasing office to check if they wish to inspect my apartment. They dint show up and said to just drop the keys. Four days later we moved out they sent me email that my carpet has stains and need to be changed completely. Before move out I paid $200 for cleaning service for entire unit and there were no stains at all. I asked Stonegate to send proof of stains which they dint send for a week and after consecutive demand from my end they sent some pics where the stains are not even household stains. I have attached pics below. It looks like paint or varnish stains when they renovated the unit when we moved out. The carpet was also used by previous tenant at my unit as well. But they asked only us to pay for replacement. Then I checked in Google reviews and similar complaint was reported by another tenant (Shannon) as well. Similar pics and stains. (Attached for proof). I tried to reach her but not able to find her contact details. The management never respond to email with a solution but simply send email demanding us to pay for the carpet replacement. They deducted the amount from my advance and sent the rest amount to me. Please be careful when you plan to vacate. Demand them to check your house when you are at the unit. Never agree to inspect after you leave. They will try all ways to take your deposit amount. Update: 13-JUL-23: As you can see Kim's response below that she is not even ready to investigate and simply comment good luck with new house we moved. They never take the effort to listen to you. I visited the community and Imani continued to share this beautiful complex with me. She showed me multiple apartments always smiling, helpful and a wealth of information. I ended up signing the lease. Over the next few days I returned to visit the apartment again. Every employee I dealt with was gracious, warm, friendly and so very helpful and accommodating. During holidays, the condo association always organizes a party for the community. Snow removal is always prompt, the maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. It's usually very quiet all day/night but I live right behind the US postal office and it can get noisy in the mornings when the trucks are honking. You have to be very cautious driving at night due to deer population being very common in the area. It can get very difficult getting out of the community during rush hour as it is off valley forge road. Overall, a pleasant experience.
