I contacted this company to have a keypad replaced on my garage. It turns out the keypad was broken and I needed a new one. Because my garage door opener was so old, the technician didn't have that model of keypad available but sent me the link to Menards who did have it so I bought it from there. I contacted Garage Doors and More and they came out the next day to install it. While there the technician noted that the tracks for the rollers were bent, the track was bone dry and needed oil, and the safety feature that stops the garage door from slamming on something was at an incorrect height. The installation of the keypad, as well as all of the issues above were taken care of for a mere $103.50. I am so happy with the results. read more

Who would have guessed that one of my best customer service experiences ever has come from a local, garage door company? However, that is exactly what this review is about. My large (and heavy) garage door decided to call it quits, damaging the door and rails after experiencing a cable break. I looked online for a well-reviewed garage door repair and found Garage Doors and More with excellent reviews. When I booked the appointment, they told me the technician would be there at 11:00am on Wednesday. I immediately received a text confirming the visit timing. At 10:40am on Wednesday, I received a text indicating the tech was on his way. In addition, it provided his name (Chris) and a photo so I would know he was legit. He pulled in at exactly 11:00am. He was polite, helpful, informative and got right to work. I was expecting a +$500 estimate but he found many of the things I was worried about were unfounded. The final estimate was around $250 all in. He did a great job repairing the door, tightening the chain, and cleaning up when done. It is MUCH quieter after the repair. He was finished within 2 hours and on his way. A great experience all in. But then, I received a hand-written thank you note from the owners thanking me for the business and offering to answer any follow-up questions or concerns. No concerns here - only appreciation for a company that knows how to create loyal customers.
