Called Jeff to take a look at my door. It had a broken strut and would not open. He came out same day to look at it. He could have honestly told me I needed a new panel but he didn't. He gave me options for the repair which were very affordable and reasonable. He ordered the part and installed a few days later. He adjusted the spring, aligned photo eye and lubricated the bearings. This morning my garage door didn't open, the clicker didn't work and my keypad didn't work. I eventually was able to open it by myself but I needed to open as usual. I planned on fixing my off the rails garage door myself. My door was so misaligned, it could of easily popped off the rails and collapsed. I planned a two day reinstall of the door. Our garage door need servicing after a bracket broke causing it not to open. I found Jeff on Yelp and contacted him. Over the phone, he asked a few questions to assess the problem. We had hired a garage door person to fix our door a couple months back. The person came - fixed 1 broken spring, charged me a fortune and that was that. Within a couple months another spring broke and the pole was experiencing a lot of stress. I did some help research and found Jeff. I called on Sunday and he came Monday. He was super easy and clear to communicate with and set up the appointment. When he arrived, I didn't tell him about the previous service I had and let him asses the issue. He suggested replacing all springs and the pole thing that goes on the roof as the stress had stripped the metal. His price for all this.... less then the previous guy replacing 1 spring. I didn't know that my parents had someone come out already before I called Jeff who gave them an unbelievably high quote to fix their garage door opener.
