I would never recommend this company to anyone. They had the worst customer service. They did our garage floor and when streaking occurred on the floor they blamed it on the floor. We told them on Thursday what had happened and they couldn't be bothered to show up till the following Monday. The salesperson acted like he was doing us a favor to redo the floor. When it was pointed out this was turning out to be a three week ordeal ,that was forcing us to cancel Thanksgiving and a Christmas party , all the garage stuff was in the house, the salesperson was indifferent to the mess they had created.And after all that we had to pay extra for the pod rental and move everything back in freezing weather because they didn't finish the job when they had said they would. read more

I have never been more disappointed in any home purchase! These people came in & when we asked why the floor has low spots, we were told that it would even out by itself. A week or so later, we called & the man who came out said there was nothing he could do. We have spots in the garage where water just sits & pools up. Lifetime warranty means nothing to these people. AVOID doing business with this company. Very bad support when the coating started bubbling & peeling in 100's of locations across the floor. It took 5 months to get them to come out. I purchased ALL the options, special sealers, etc, so I was outraged when they blamed my concrete & wouldn't honor their lifetime warranty. Owner proposed a new "better" product, which was more expensive than the original job, but would do for 50% of this new high price. We had an outstanding experience. Owner came out to give the estimate was very good, friendly and to the point. Everything he quoted took place. Techs that came out were absolutely outstanding. He explained what he was going to do and the timeframes involved. Everything was done as stated and to date am 100% satisfied. Due to the cold temperatures they could not complete the outside apron and said they would come back in March once it warmed up. End of March once it warmed up they returned and completed the job. I was told that my Garage floor did not require any cement grinding, I have hot tire pickup and when I complained they came back and took a grinder to the area affected , it worked but I asked about the other side and they said it didnt need it, now the other side is affected. Warranty is over and they didnt even bother to call me back , over all, 4 visits to fix something that it still bad. read more

Read the other reviews before wasting your time with these folks. They sent out a mailer claiming they would do a standard, up to 400 square feet, garage floor for $799. When I called they told me someone would need to come out to give me a quote, which seemed strange since I have a standard 2 car garage. I agreed and schedule for a month out. The day comes and the guy shows up, he is pleasant, but more of a car salesman than anything else. When he finally gets me the quote, with the add-ons it somehow came out to just under $2200, the extras were only $600. I was apprehensive, but my wife said go ahead and do it since it has a lifetime warranty, Something other reviewers have claimed they do not honor (I should have looked before having them out). After looking at the contract and their mailer, along with their website, it was clear that the special did include a warranty. As a consequence, I called to cancel, and, Jean, who answered, tried to tell me the sale was final since I signed the contract. When I pointed out that, since the salesperson came to my house to solicit the sale, I was able to cancel under the states Three-Day Right to Cancel law, she hurried me off the phone, telling me she had to find my paperwork. I assume this was in the hopes that I didn't realize that simply calling to cancel was not enough, I needed to send out a letter. I have already done that. Avoid these people, along with their silly bait and switch tactics. read more

Very happy with our garage floor from Garage Flooring Experts. The staff at the office and workers at our home, explained everything throughout the process. Angelo detailed everything on his first visit to our home. I stained the floor years ago myself. I used the kit from the hardware store. The cost was cheaper, but it didn't last. I had peeling stain and layers of it that were a mess. The workers from Garage Flooring Experts spent several days preparing the floor for the final sealer. I asked several people for recommendations and this company seemed to always come up first although I did get a quote from another company too. Gerry was the gentleman who quoted and explained the product. It was a concise but clear presentation with NO pressure. I kept waiting for the "if you sign today, you will get. xxxxx" but it never happened. I did wait a day or two to check some things and all indicators were GO! Could not be happier! They stuck to their schedule commitment, even were able to come a few days early, apprised me each day of when they would be there next. On one day, I was unable to be there and left my garage door opener with the men and they returned it exactly where we agreed on after the work. What a difference a beautiful garage makes! This floor was 30 years old, had stains, paint, cracks... and they made no mess at all, were exceptionally tidy, and I couldn't believe the finished results. I figured at least 16 man hours, maybe more (3 man crew), equipment, and seasoned installers were well worth the money! I enthusiastically recommend this very efficient company. This is an update of my previous review on this company. They did come back and repaired the damaged flooring at no charge but after our previous experience I still can not give them a 5 star. I think they can do better and I hope they will to improve customer satisfaction. After one more than a year . I called them to repair two spots on my garage flooring. Sent an email to Jean, She responded that someone will be there to to fix them. When they were on there way the truck broke down. Never heard from them since then. I had sent an email to Jean twice no response at all. Very, very bad follow up on repairs. They are only nice when they want your business. read more

As crazy as this sounds it has been our dream to have our garage floor professionally epoxy'd. Our garage floor was damaged/cracked from years of wear and tear, dirty despite our best efforts to clean it and a huge eye sore. When we finally decided to bite the bullet and get it done we first needed to figure out which company to use. My husband got two estimates. To be honest he was going to go with the first guy after his initial consultation but I encouraged him to stick with the plan of two estimates. Thank goodness I did because then he met Gerry from Garage Flooring Experts! Gerry was, as my husband says, "just a super nice guy." The product he offered us,including the repair of the lip of our garage floor between the garage door and the driveway, was better and less expensive then our other quote. The other company wanted to charge us for all these "extras" that was already build into the price of Garage Flooring Experts. The job was completed in three days and then required 72 hours to cure. The one unexpected thing was the smell of the product that seeped into the house. Not truly a big deal though because we just opened the windows. The end result was awesome. It is perfect, beautiful, amazing! It has truly transformed our garage. Now when our kids run out into the garage without their shoes on they aren't stepping in all kinds of dirt. Garage Experts did my floor 2 years ago. We custom build a beautiful baby store in Buffalo Grove. We hired Garage experts to do our floor with opoxy finish. Angelo came to our office to present his Company.(Garage Experts). Let me tell you he is nothing but talk. They dragged the project for 8 month. They used improper materials to prepare the floors. When they were sending concrete fire department came out 3 times because they could not properly cover fire alarm sensors. He gave me one price after all he charged us $1000 more to finish. After 3-4 month floor started getting bubbles. I called Angelo to come out and fix it. He would ignore my calls. I had to file a BBB complain. After 3 month back and fourth with BBB he send his guy to repair the floor. He came out started and never finished what he started. Floors look horrible bubbles all over the floor. Huge white spot where he started the repair. Stay away. He never stands behind his words. All he does is talks and talks. His words mean nothing. Once you give him check that's it, you will be running after him. I called other companies they would not even touch his work unless they start from begging. A lot of companies know him and once they hear his name they say "YOU AREA NOT THE FIRST ONE". Stay away find another company. read more

Too bad you can't award ZERO stars. After 2 failed attempts to seal a new floor, considerable time, effort and cost to clean out the entire garage for each failed attempt, plus the total mess the sanding process takes, I gave up. Called and asked for a refund in light the company's guarantee and was told "we don't do that". I asked if they would clean put/prepare garage for treatment and was told "we don't do that". I'm sensing a trend. What was offered was to return in over a month later to redo the 2 car garage for a 3rd time. No thanks, as the likelihood of success the 3rd time was just about nil, plus the cost and hassle to clean out space, store and park our cars in a parking garage for several days for a THIRD time was too much for me to deal with AGAIN. I asked what the warranty was worth if they won't stand behind their work. The reply was we'll come back and do it again (and again, and again, I assume.....), or for a sizable FEE put a special coating under the treatment that would improve the likelihood of success?!! Interesting. After a lot of double talk, I offered to settle the dispute w/ a return of 50% of my original fee. A fair offer under the circumstances, I thought. I was told the owner would be consulted and they'd get back to me. Not surprisingly, it's been over a month and I have not heard a word from the BS owner, much less anyone else. And when I say BS, I mean make a used car salesman blush level BS, double talk, and bad service. Basically, one of the poorest organizations I ever dealt with in any capacity. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! Angelo came out and talked more about himself and all of the athletes, coaches and famous people he goes to games with, eats with and entertains. We paid him and our garage floor was completed. We called them back to fix a crack along the wall of our floor and he said that it was "normal" and did not need to be fixed. We then called back about another crack that we were concerned with and when they sent the service guys out, the service man himself said he did not have the proper tools to fix the problem and would have to come back. He called Angelo and then magical he was able to fix the problem, basically put lipstick on a pig, and would never explain why all of the sudden he was able to fix it. We did not allow him to do anything and said we would call the company to get it resolved and fixed properly. We have tried on several occasions to reach Angelo and they do nothing but take messages and the calls are never returned. We have contacted a couple different companies and all of them have talked about the number of calls they get to fix their problems. They do not stand behind their work and warranty anything! All of the companies we have called agree that if the floor was done properly, it never would have happened and should definitely be covered under warranty. There are good reputable companies out there who do a great job and this is not one of them! read more
