They were the first company to get back to us right away and even gave us an in person estimate. Our garage floor paint was peeling up and our concrete was starting to crack and was getting divots due to years of salt and water seeping into the floor. I am absolutely critical in my reviews and that's because there are only a few businesses that you get what you actually pay for including work that is done right. You definitely get what you pay for using Garage Store. My experience with them was nothing short of extreme professionalism as well as great workmanship. I had two 4x8's and one 4x6 overhanging garage shelves installed in my garage. If you're familiar with this shelving system, it supports about 600-800 lbs when installed right into the joists in your ceilings. If you think you're handy and you order a set, it'll still take you a long time to figure out the right way to install these shelves. I took no chances as I didn't want to find my vehicles buried under a pile of crap from not being installed right. If you live in the city, your garage most likely has a sheet of drywall covering the ceiling and its also braced with with aluminum studs. Unless you're familiar with construction, finding the wooden ceiling joists are difficult even with a stud finder. Now, throw in a construction crew that didn't bother to do things with right angles and you'll never figure it out unless you cut holes in your ceiling. Jim was prompt during the initial quotation visit. They provided several options on the best way to secure the shelves. The day of the appointment, Anthony arrived and was early. He spent a good amount of his day working and making sure everything was right. He definitely knows what he's doing and didn't miss a beat installing the shelves. After sitting outside and watching him install the shelves, I was glad I didn't do it myself. He accommodated all my requests in securing it into the concrete wall and making sure everything was sturdy. If I didn't have that much junk in my home, I'd consider turning the shelves into a overhanging beds and renting out my garage. If you're in the Chicagoland area, these are the most reliable guys that can do the install for you even if you decided to purchase the shelves yourself through Costco or Home Depot. Having these pros do it is money well spent and for peace of mind. read more

I went from a 3-car garage that could only hold 2 cars to a true 3-car garage. I love the versatile siding where i can use numerous different hooks and holders to completely customize my garage. I should have taken some pictures. My family's bikes are all hanging on the walls along with all the garden "thingys". I even had them put some plywood in the crawl space above the garage along with a pull down ladder so now I moved all my seasonal stuff up there. And I had my garage floor re-done.
