On February 28, 2026, we purchased a beautiful 2026 GMS Yukon Denali. We traded our 2023 GMC Yukon Denali. We were at the dealership for hours, but that is expected when purchasing a vehicle. We have patiently waited for everything to be completed, and it has not been completed. We paid for an extended warranty. To this day we have not received the paperwork/forms for the extended warranty. The title has not been forwarded to our bank, and the VIN numbers do not match. One of their philosophy's are: The company emphasizes honesty, respect, empathy, integrity, pride, and strong work ethic. It is very difficult getting to speak with a finance manager every time we call. We always must leave a message. Today, I decided to call early 1000, I was kindly greeted and transferred. No one answered, I was routed back to the front desk and transferred again. Then finally spoke with Aiden, sales associate, who explained they were in a meeting until 1000. Aiden transferred me, wouldn't you know it...I had to leave another voice mail. This process has been very difficult, maybe because we live out of state, I am not sure. Everyone except the finance team has been amazing. Finance customer service was great the day of purchase, but it seems the customer service doesn't matter after purchasing the vehicle. When you can get a new car from just about anywhere even online it is wonderful to find a dealership that values their employees and their customers. I visited numerous dealerships as well as shopped online for a new car. For the most part I found the experience tedious and time consuming. Years ago I had purchased a vehicle from Garber with Jared. I really hadn't thought much about it because salespeople come and go in the auto industry so I was pleasantly surprised to see him when I walked onto the Ford sales floor. I was even more surprised that he remembered me after four years and many customers. Jared is knowledgeable and professional but beyond that he is real. He listens and doesn't "hard sell." I have waited all day for some type of contact from Garber Auto Mall Ford Service Center due to a serious issue and have heard nothing. I had my Ford Explorer 2025 dropped off for a scheduled appt on 11/20 @ 10am due to a cel and several recalls. I had them take me home because it would be awhile. I was finally able to get my service Advisor Jay to respond at 3:30pm but all he could tell me is it had been dispatched. In almost 6 hrs that was the best he could do. First thing the next morning 11/21 8:20am he calls and said it just needed some updates and would be ready today. I explained I would not be able to pick it up until the next day (Saturday 11/22). He said that was fine and that they key and paperwork would be at the lube center. I arrive at the lube center saturday morning and talk to the lady, told her I was there to pick up my car that Ford Service center was supposed to leave over there. She hands me paperwork and a key.....not my key. This key is for a 2022 Ford bronco. I bring it to her attention and she goes to the Ford building and comes back with another key......again not my key. She calls Jay and goes back to the Ford building. I decide to do a walk around on my car to make sure there was no damage and notice in plain sight sits my key on the center console and the doors unlocked. They left a $49000 car unlocked with the key in it overnight. I have purchased 2 vehicles from garber as well as my daughter, her boyfriend and several of their friends that were refered by our family. Desk lady said their prices had gone up ... labor doubled in six months. BS. Called back next business day to ask the regular desk lady about it and they refused to return my call. I've been to Garber for work on my F150. They are overpriced, but the work they did was okay. That isn't why I'm writing my review. As you can see in my photo, Garber Automall, or someone looking to vandalize on their behalf decided to put a sticker on my Jeep without my knowledge or consent. While I have taken another vehicle of mine to them in the past, this Jeep has never been to Garber. Today I went to get in and noticed that a Garber advertisement decal had been put on the side of my 1975 CJ5. I am amazed at the audacity displayed. If this action was not sanctioned by the owner, then whichever employee or representative of Garber that did this should be fired. Bought a pre-owned Cadillac SRX here that looked to be in great condition and had low mileage. I was assured a mechanic had fully inspected it, and everything looked great. Brought our Ford in for service on a Monday. The had no problem calling us and quoting $3000 for the repair. Said they needed parts but the vehicle would be ready by Friday. Between Tuesday and Friday we had no communication from them. We called in on Friday and they said that the part came that day and they would get it done for Saturday. We waited to hear from them on Saturday finally called to see if the car was running. The receptionist transferred, our call twice to the service desk but they never picked up (service department said the receptionist doesn't know how to transfer calls). We then drove down to the dealership to speak with someone in person .The assistant manager, Heather, had no idea what we were talking about. The car has not even been in the shop yet. While I understand it is difficult sometimes to get parts and repairs take time, it is unacceptable that they did not keep us updated. Heather treated my husband like a moron. She was condescending and apathetic. Her attitude was I'm not going to do anything because I am getting transferred. So the entire week has gone by. We don't have our car back and have no idea when we will get it. I do know we'll still be expected to pay $3000 By the way, this happened last year as well. Should've learned, but we tried to give them. another chance., That time they had the car for a month. Second by the way, they told us it would take four days to repair the car when they called us on Monday and then on Friday they were gonna have it ready in one day. OK, I am a fool. My Jeep Wrangler broke down the day before the hurricane and I had it towed to Garber because they were the only ones open. I should have known better and I have certainly paid dearly for my decision. What was probably a very quick diagnosis (ignition coil - i.e. no spark), turned into a very, very, very expensive repair. They charged me double what a coil costs at a parts store...no real issue with that, that is what dealerships do. The remainder of the ridiculous bill was labor. If it took them longer than a hour to find the problem I would be amazed. The replacement should have taken no more than 30 minutes as it is only 2 bolts holding it in. So....$700 for a $40.00 part and $660 for about 1 /1/2 hrs work. Most lawyers don't cost that much. To top it off, now my Jeep idles too high (it didn't have that problem before). I would take it back, but I am sure I would need a 2nd mortgage to pay for them touching it. After buying a vehicle there and now using their "service", I wouldn't go to Garber for an oil change. Take your car to billy bob first, at least he couldn't keep a straight face when handing you the kind of bill that Garber has. I will never buy a vehicle from there again and obviously NEVER, EVER use their service centers. read more

I just had 6k dollars worth of work done to my car that was the 100k mile inspection 4 new tires and replacing a part the tech broke taking off my car due to needing to fix and oils leak seal. only to get my car back and in 48 hours i have a slow leak coming from a busted valve stem that was working fine when I took my car in so now I'm being told I have to pay another 100 to fix this issue. the part is $23 and I'm being charged to fix it and labor all because they didn't ensure it was 100% fine and it started to leek 48 hours later! The Service Rep's name is Ron Anderson! I bought my car from this location in 2017 and I have seen the staff turn time and time again! It was bad enough that i scheduled my appointment 5 weeks in advance, so I asked them to make sure they had the tires on site and the first call I got was they only had 2 they never made sure the other 2 got ordered and sent to the dealership. Then they found another issue during inspection, so it was a $430 part to replace then they broke apart when removing it and said Well it was old and brittle so that's why it broke so I had to pay for that part as well. Now I have to take it back to them because of the valve stem and I have to pay for this!!!! I'm over it! They should be fixing it and owning that they could have cracked the valve stem by accident when they put the tire on the rim! I am done with this dealership! Robbie is the name of the main guy who is in charge of the Service reps! You need to do better Robbie! As for Ron Anderson you didn't do the best you could do for a long-term customer and make me happy! Never get this kind of piss poor service from Toyota at the avenues where I bought my son's car! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE. I bought a 2020 f150 xlt sport from Garber in August of 2023 and purchased one of the extended warranty options. I started having issues involving a misfire and the ford service center refused to cover it under my warranty and quoted my almost $4,000 to fix the issue. They then charged me over $300 in diagnostic fees including an alignment and did not do an alignment on my truck. They told me my lift kit was loose therefore they couldn't align it. I took it to another shop and they found that it was my rear U bolts that were loose and they said it should be no problem to align it with them being loose. Garber still charged me for the alignment diagnostic and lied about why they could not do it. I decided to fix the misfire issue myself and all it took was 8 new spark plugs and a can of injector cleaner. Garber quoted me almost $4,000 to fix it, and it was fixed by me for less than $100 in 2 hours. Garber are money hungry scammers do not buy any vehicle from here. read more

I get a call and go to the dealership; they want me to pay $3k more since it's AWD. Not my fault they made it wrong and it's missing accessories! Then tried to lowball my trade: asked for "proof" other dealerships offered me more. I provided the proof and they still wouldn't match the trade or try to work with me on it being 3k more than I agreed to. Would not recommend. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM GARBER AUTOMALL!!! I PROMISE YOU, IT WILL BE THE WORST MISTAKE YOU EVER MAKE IN REGARDS TO A VEHICLE!!! I wish that I could give this review a negative 5 stars. Please take into serious consideration that this review is not based on 1 bad experience. We have been dealing with them since 2016 on 4 different vehicles, 2 of which we bought brand new from them. They do not honor their own work. Since we've had so many problems this is going to be a very lengthy review so I apologize in advance. (I actually ran out of characters at the end so I could not write everything so this is a brief overview.) We first bought a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS from them. In the first 1 1/2 years it was in their service department over 20 times for transmission and a few other problems. Long story, very short...GM approved a brand new transmission for it. The first day I got it back my engine light was back on. It was back in the shop the same day. This is just a very short glimpse into the problems with the Chevrolet dealership and their incompetence. Now here comes the Ford dealership and what peaches they are! We finally had enough with the Camaro so we traded it in on a 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum. We took the vehicle for service because white sunscreen got on the black leather passenger seat. We could not get the stain off after several attempts with the cleaner provided by Garber for the fabric protection package we bought. They could not get it out either so they ordered a new seat cover. Once it came in, we left the truck there for service. Upon arriving to pick the truck back up there was a gash down to the metal into the driver side door paint where someone hit the door into the cement building it was parked next to. They evaluated this damage and could only fill it in with touch-up paint because of where it was at. Now onto the seat, the seat looked like a wrinkly t-shirt. We were told that it would take about 2 weeks to "flatten" out. Well that never happened. We took it back in and they could not fix it. So AGAIN, a new seat cover was ordered. It finally comes in, we drop the truck off for service. We get the truck back and you will never believe this, it is like lightning striking you twice. There was a 2 inch vertical dent into the passenger side door. It appears as if a technician hit the door on his tool bench or something. They agreed that it did appear that way and AGAIN, fixed it to the best of their ability which is not much. You can still see the indentation where the dent was. This might not mean much to some people but we are the type of people who park their car far out to avoid door dings. We take EXTREMELY good care of our vehicles. We are just those type of people that dents and door dings are a big deal when you work hard to have nice things. So the only damage on the entire 2018 truck was made by Garber (including the seat that is STILL damaged). This seat cover was slightly wrinkled, not as bad as the first time. Once we got it home and opened up the back door we noticed that the bottom of the seat had plastic parts that had fallen out. The back of the seat flap was hanging down and the wire harness to the seat was also exposed. We finally decided to take it to Bozard Ford to get it correctly repaired by a competent dealership. There was a night and day difference in how we were treated. They were actually helpful, informative and kind. Now here comes the "funny" part. Bozard won't touch the seat because someone at Garber CUT the tension straps under the seat. They said that it won't be covered so we had to take it back to Garber since it was their mistake. We take it back to Garber and were told that THEY ARE NOT GOING TO FIX IT BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CUT THE STRAPS!!! This was after the work they performed on the seat. So now not only do we have a wrinkly leather seat but now we have missing parts, a wire harness exposed and a flap hanging down off the back of the seat. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! THEY ARE THE BIGGEST JOKE DEALERSHIP IN THE JACKSONVILLE AREA!!! STAY AWAY!!!! read more

My complaint is about service after the sale. I bought my daughter a car from Garber Auto Mall on May 19, 2023, less than a month ago for which I paid cash. I was debating on whether it would be a surprise for her graduation. I decided that I should probably let her see it after all so I offered to put money down to hold it for twenty-four hours since we lived out of town. Garber emails me an agreement to hold it for a $500. NON- REFUNDABLE fee in case my daughter decided she didn't like it ( didn't do it). My salesman was Tom H., a very nice man. The car was being sold as is and I told Tom I was nervous about buying a used car with no warranty. He ASSURED me that if anything were to come up just call Garber ''and we will get you in and take a look at it.'' To be fair, he didn't promise they'd fix anything but he did promise that they took all of their customer's concerns seriously. He said they are in the business of having return customers and their families. I got the sense that they are a reputable business and not some roadside used car dealership. One week after purchasing the car I noticed a rattling sound when idling so I called and they got me in. I was told that a bolt had come loose and they tightened it. Now it is two weeks after that ( we've not had the car for a month yet) and it's doing the same thing. I called to ask if they will look at.....Tom doesn't return my calls, the mechanic texts me indicating that I don't know the difference between an idling sound and a rattling sound (mind you, I was right the first time). I know the car came as is ( I bought a secondary warranty) but since they are already familiar with the problem and it seems to be a matter of replacing a bolt I felt they could do that and then tell me what I need to tell my mechanic to have them permanently fix it. Heck, Garber could even tell me that they are going to have to charge me for the service themselves if need be. The absolute worst thing anyone can do is dismiss someone and make them feel unseen or unheard after the sale. read more
