We were placed on the back patio, which was beautiful, covered, heated, and thoughtfully decorated, making it a very comfortable and inviting space. We ordered the Cajun Seafood Boil, and it did not disappoint. It came with a generous amount of crab, shrimp, lobster, clams, and mussels. The seasoning was bold and flavorful without being overwhelming. The corn, potatoes, and sausage were perfectly portioned, complementing the seafood instead of taking the focus away from it. The rich, buttery garlic sauce tied everything together and was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the half-shell oysters, which were the perfect medium size. They were meaty and had the rich, briny flavor I enjoy. Our server, Angel, was outstanding. This isn't the kind of place you come to for the ambiance - it's very bare bones. However, the halibut and the fish and chips were both done well and were very fresh. And for the comments that Debbie R and Gilbert R made, this is a family owned business and I'm sure there was a reasonable cause as to why the wait was longer than anticipated. Prices are high and would be easier to take if expensive entrees came with a small salad or at least an edible garnish. They should also include bread and butter or flavored oil. They used to have several very good desserts, but lately it seems they only have key lime pie, which is not everyone's favorite dessert. At the very least, paper placemats would help to justify the prices. I think a few upgrades would match the delicious food and would keep guests coming back. read more

It had two small lobster tails, two sets of crab legs, awful ceviche in two tiny ramekins and four dirty mussels all stick in ice on a plate. No drawn butter. I finally flagged down a different server and got some butter. We ate the lobster, a couple of crab legs with hardly any meat and spit out the mussels. We started our dinner with a half dozen grilled oysters served with horseradish, parmesan, and toast points. They were soft and mild and the toast was well seasoned. The Pan Roast is what drew me to this restaurant, and it lived up to the hype. Fresh seafood in a smokey tomato cream sauce with jasmine rice. The lobster was slightly overcooked, but everything else was perfectly cooked. It's a dish I would definitely order again. I could even recommend splitting it with someone due the amount you get. My husband ordered the Cajun scallops with pappardelle pasta, which seemed to be very popular judging by how many we saw delivered to tables around us. It had both sea and bay scallops. The pasta was silky. The sauce had a noted Cajun kick to it. It would have been too spicy for my taste, but my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. The locale is very unassuming and feels extremely casual, but the food could easily be served in a fine dining restaurant.
