    Steak Sandwich, Italian Hero, Meatball
    Bella Z.

Tried three sandwiches here, the meatball parm, italian hero, and the steak sandwich. SO GOOD!!! All of them, really. The steak sandwich was out of this world, incredible flavor and texture. Also got some pastries, yum!!! Super friendly staff too! Sat outside and had such a lovely time

Everything here is amazing. I love the chocolate chip cookie croissant and have bought multiple times. Recently tried the French toast muffin and cinnamon roll and both were excellent.

This is such a cute spot in Williamsburg, they have some outdoor seating and lots of fun pastries! I loved the vegan BEC on a croissant

This is my new favorite vegan spot in Williamsburg! The music instantly transported me back to France. The service was excellent, the food was absolutely delicious, and I loved the decor--both inside and out!

Cozy cafe in Williamsburg with a completely vegan menu! I love the convenience of being at a vegan cafe and not worrying about whether a sauce contains dairy or what the upcharge will be for nondairy milk. Service was super friendly, the woman working the counter seemed new & very eager to help. The baked goods case was full, plenty of vegan baked goods from cookies to croissants. The cappuccino was solid, and I appreciated that they had soy milk as an option as that's been a rarity nowadays. I got the grilled chicken caesar wrap and had no complaints, it tasted like the Daring vegan chicken with romaine and some crispy onions. Lettuce was crisp, salad was dressed just right, and the wrap itself had a nice grill on it. The entire menu was enticing to me with lots of options, and it's great quality for what you'd find at a coffee shop, but don't think it'd be fair to compare the food here to that of a proper restaurant. I went on a Monday morning and it was pretty quiet, I was able to pull out my laptop and get some work done with the wifi. About eight tables total inside with a few more outside, most of are small ones for 1-2 people. I've been by on weekends and it seems quite a bit busier, maybe less of a work vibe then.

The teeniest tiniest sliver of cheesecake imaginable for $7

I love their food. Specifically the steak sandwich, which is tender and marinated to perfection. I've only ordered delivery so I can't speak for the service or the ambiance. HOWEVER, I ordered their cheesecake slice for the first time and it was the TINIEST sliver of a slice for almost $7!!! A normal slice would be twice as big as this one. That's incredibly expensive for what amounts to a couple of bites of cake. I'm adding a picture to show how egregiously tiny this slice of cake was. At its widest point it was 1 inch. Very disappointed. It tasted great so it's a shame.

Very cute spot in the neighborhood! I don't know if they were understaffed that day or it usually takes this long but it took a long time to get the food out, I probably waited 20min which is longer than average for lunch. Luckily I wasn't in a rush.

Great vegan eatery and bakery. Ran across it by accident but looks like it's quickly turning into a neighborhood staple. Lots of vegan baked good like croissants and muffins. They're known for their vegan takes on typically meaty sandwiches, ala heros and meatball parms. I didn't get a chance to try those yet, but had their brussels sprouts, which are excellent and generously portioned, and an almond cappuccino. All were delicious, the vibe was relaxing and comfortable. The staff was sweet and attentive. I'll be coming back to try more treats soon!

Am I vegan? No. Did i order the Meatball Parm sub on doordash not knowing it was vegan? Yes. Did i absolutely destroy the sub like there was no tomorrow? Hells yes. Absurdly delicious and after reading these reviews, i have my eye on the mac & cheese next. The Chai Latte was well spiced & i adore the cup art. Can't wait to check out the in store vibe soon because "plant based butcher shop" is a must see.

I'm surprised there are only 52 reviews for this place on yelp! It's been there on grand street for quite some time and I finally got around to ordering some take out. The Mac and cheese lived up to the hype and so did the chicken Caesar wrap. The Mac and cheese could have been heavier on the bread crumbs and the wrap could have used more Caesar. Maybe that's just me, but this certainly won't stop me from ordering again. My partner had the Italian hero and I thought the texture was so unique. think all of this it best eaten immediately though, I ate part of my wrap a bit later and it wasn't as good cold! I didn't eat inside the restaurant but plan to do so at some point. Food was delivered very quickly and in one piece!

So incredibly cute in here. I loved the unique flavors and had a fantastic pistachio vanilla cortado. The barista was kind enough to custom make the cortado flavored even though it wasn't on the menu. She also gave a great recommendation for the local kombucha and it did not disappoint.

This is a cute little shop that has both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff member was nice but it would be helpful if they had some type of bell or something when the staff are in the back just so they know when customers are out and ready to order. The sandwiches aren't bad but overpriced in my opinion. I was especially disappointed since I ordered the Italian HERO sub and it is supposed to come both turkey and roast beef but only was served with one because they ran out of the other yet they did not bother to mention that at all when I ordered or when I was given the sandwich. It is definitely a pet peeve of mine when restaurants do this and definitely decreases the value for me. For the chicken parm they do put the sauce on the side which is nice so you can choose how sauces you want it to be.

Warm atmosphere, a strong selection of vegan food and drinks, and the kind of place that made the evening feel special without trying too hard. It's since closed, and from what I understand it wasn't about the food or the love from regulars, it was the brutal economics of running a sit-down restaurant in a delivery-and-takeout world. Nine years of serving genuinely great vegan comfort food in Williamsburg, done in by margins rather than quality. That's a rough way for a good restaurant to go. If you ever got to eat here, you know what was lost. If you didn't, I'm sorry you missed it.

The menu is stacked--sandwiches, hearty apps, macs, and cozy entrees that make you forget you're eating vegan. During my visit, they were running a Reuben sandwich special that seriously tempted me, but I went with the oyster mushroom calamari, and wow, the seasoning was spot on, and it could easily fool a seafood lover. My friend tried the seitan wings and was really impressed, even though he's usually not into mock meats. They came with super flavorful sauces and were definitely shareable. He also had the smash burger, which was a total win--savory, satisfying, and gave big diner vibes. We heard the milkshakes are amazing too, but we were too full to fit them in. Next time, for sure. Only downside? The service was on the slow side--we waited over 30 minutes between apps and mains. It's a popular spot, so some delay is understandable, but it was noticeable. Overall, I loved it and can't wait to go back with an emptier stomach and room for dessert.

I had ordered from HAAM through Grubhub, only to have my order canceled, not once, but twice, through no fault of the restaurant. HAAM had actually prepared my food, and Rosa had been following the whole ordeal and trying to help me throughout it. By the time I tried to order for a third time, the restaurant had already closed. What happened next genuinely blew me away. Rosa went completely above and beyond to make sure I still got my food. After hours of dealing with canceled orders and calls with Grubhub (both of us called them), she cared enough to make sure that I didn't end the night without my meal. She was unbelievably kind and generous and wouldn't even accept money from me because of everything that had happened. I worked in customer service for more than 20 years, so I know how much skill, patience, and genuine care great customer service requires, and how rare it has become. Customer service is a highly undervalued but a super important skill, particularly in this world where social interaction is being minimized, much to our detriment. Rosa reminded me that one person can completely change the way you feel about a business. She has made me a HAAM fan for life. And after waiting all those hours, that food tasted like the best meal on the planet. Delicious! HAAM's food was already wonderful, and I especially appreciate having such delicious vegan Caribbean food in NYC. Being in Queens I wish it were closer though! We need more vegan options in Queens. I also really appreciate how knowledgeable the staff is about ingredients and dietary restrictions. I'm temporarily avoiding gluten and soy, and Rosa knew exactly what to recommend. But this experience was about something beyond good food. It meant so much to encounter someone who genuinely cared. I will never forget her kindness. Rosa, thank you. You were an angel. And to HAAM: please know what an extraordinary person you have in Rosa representing your restaurant. This experience makes me want to go out of my way to support HAAM even more.

The plantains and even the rice on the side were incredible as well, and I ended up with leftovers to take home. My partner had the mofongo, which is topped with super crispy oyster mushrooms. Honestly we didn't have room for dessert, but decided to get the tres leches cake anyway. The icing on top was the real star for me there. Cocktails were also on point!
