It was absolutely devastating to wake up in Los Angeles this morning after a trip to NYC and realize I couldn't go get the best breakfast sandwich of my life. In a vegan world taken over by the folded just egg product, ATM opted to develop their own unique egg for their breakfast sandwich and they knock all competition and it's not even close. The yolk sauce ??? Unbelievable. The texture of the tofu is perfect and they slice the mushroom bacon so thin and stack it up. Just wow. Tried the BEC,SEC,PEC and wish I had tried them all. We bought sandwiches to eat on our flight home (BLT and club) and it was the best in flight meal. First stop next time I'm in town. read more

This place is amazingggggggggg. Came here two days in a row and both times my order was fire. So far I've tried the chop cheese and the e.n.c., which is an egg n cheese sandwich on a roll. The chop cheese was great and they use a beyond patty for the beef, so if you've tried a beyond burger before you pretty much know what this'll taste like. It's fresh, meaty, cheesy, and messy (which is something I miss sometimes). However, while I did enjoy the messiness, I think because it was on a hero it didn't hold together that well and the sandwich would fall apart pretty easily. I think I enjoyed the e.n.c. much more, surprisingly. The tofu was so soft and gave the same texture/taste as eating egg whites, another pleasant surprise. The cheese they use is also very creamy and cheesy, and has a pretty similar melted quality as real cheese (not exactly, but close enough without tasting/feeling off). It only took 3 decades of life for me to finally experience what it's like to eat a BLT. With seitan replacing the protein that I'm otherwise forbidden to eat on two counts, the CLT at ATM is an immensely satisfying sandwich, with a simple sourdough base and a subtle layer of mayo that wouldn't have struck me as "vegan" outside of this context. The loaded cheese fries are made with perfectly crispy potatoes and a vegan cheese sauce that tastes less artificial than whatever they use at Nathan's. I had a tasty lunch here of the PEC (pastrami egg and cheese) sandwich and the bean salad. The pastrami substitute was smoky, and the egg and cheese substitutes tasted pretty close to the real thing. It's awesome that this deli has an all vegan menu. They offer a plant-based take on many classic sandwiches. I ordered delivery. I was a bit disappointed by the loaded chopped cheese fries. The fries were soggy and the special sauce was sour. It didn't taste very fresh. I also got the CHP sandwich and enjoyed it. The beyond meat patty was juicy and complemented well by the other ingredients. The katjes rainbow gummies were slightly sour and hard to chew. So even though I wasn't totally satisfied with my meal, I'd still give them another try and order differently. read more

AVD's BEC needs to be studied. The tofu over easy and cheddar yolk sauce on a roll is creative and brilliant and a bite with the maple wood smoked mushroom is golden. One of my favorite vegan spots. It's a cute little walk in shop, with a couple seats indoor and outdoor. All of their items are tasty and unique. The tofu salad tastes very similar to actual egg salad. I cant get enough of it. My go to sandwich is the Sausage Egg and Cheese. The tofu substitute for egg is very satisfying. Vegan or nonvegan RUN to this deli and enjoy the best breakfast sandwich you'll ever eat in your life. I've visited New York 3 times and I've been to A.T.M. 5 times. That math will make it clear that I am OBSESSED. The SEC is my go to. On a very blessed day they will have bagels available for the sandwiches and you must say yes to the bagel. The bread it comes on normally is lovely as well but you can't beat an everything bagel. The service is super fast and they have some indoor seating. Who are you and where have you been my whole life. The sandwiches are OUT OF THIS WORLD. There are no words for this level of perfection. The flavor and level of technique they have put into making this sandwich nothing short of amazing is just insane. My sandwich was delivered and they wrapped it in aluminum foil. This place is a small vegan deli in Bed-Stuy, not much space inside but has quick service. The menu has vegan takes in NYC classics like the bacon egg and cheese or chopped cheese. We ordered the Reuben loaded fries and chopped cheese sandwich. Both came out fresh and were high quality and value. The chopped cheese was amazing and savory, which is impressive considering it is vegetarian. The Reuben fries were also great and came with a healthy amount of sauerkraut. Vegan Deli, my untrusting nature kicked in full-force and I had to go back after the first *ahem* couple *ahem* bites to make sure it was in fact fully vegan (yes; I know it's in the name). After confirming it was indeed fully vegan I of course had to order more. Thirty minutes later and way too many sandwiches later I waddled myself away, sated but the kind that you know will be recurring like a foot itch after forgetting your flip-flops at the gym shower. I ain't never seen this place until today. I randomly saw the little vegan sign and thought it might be cool to check out: I'm a highly visual person so it stood out. Do note I am not vegan at all, but I will definitely try the shit out. I got the BLT which is my go to and baby I don't know what the fuck kind of bacon that was, but it was the best I ever had in the words of Beyoncé! Like it was so thin and crispy, not fatty like regular piggy bacon. Yet still so tasty it added a crunch to the overall sandwich. I'm big on fresh ingredients and everything about this was fresh. The lettuce was thick and crispy, bright green like it came out of Oprah's garden. The stuff seem could, definitely a hipster spot. Hands down best vegan breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The gluten free bread is also vegan and delicious, imo. I'm writing this review because I'm currently eating a BEC somewhere else in the city (at a highly praised cafe) and wishing so hard it was from ATM. My non-vegan, long time New Yorker family members love it too. The environment is cozy, only a few spots for seating with a classic NY deli feeling. Really refreshing compared to all the vegan cafes with the same fake plants/stark white walls/corny plant based sayings look. It's a bit grittier in a cool way. I believe it's family owned, and everyone has always treated us with sincere kindness. I wish this place was open later for my breakfast-for-dinner cravings, I think about it often! read more
