Next level vegan sandwiches!! Jaime, the owner, curates the best bread, vegan meat, vegan cheese, and spreads for her sandwiches, and each one is handcrafted with love. I was looking for a lighter/healthier option and LOVED the Patrick with tofu scramble, hummus, spring mix, and seitan turkey. The kombucha selection is eclectic and super cool, featuring brands from around the country and even abroad! When we visited, she had Hip Pop (UK), Kombucha Town (WA), Fermensch (CA), Marin (CA), and Baba's Bucha (PA). Every product in the store was chosen with love. What a cool store. Great little ALL VEGAN shop on Knickerbocker that we loved! Got freshly hand made sandwiches there two days in a row when we visited Brooklyn. Lots of other goodies every where in the store make the wait an adventure. Super friendly staff very welcoming will definitely be back on a return trip to the city! read more

I love how you can customize your sandwiches and I also love the ones that are on the menu because the flavor combos are on point. I love the Mela drinks that they carry. Blessed to experience this gem :') I can't believe they perfected those deli meats and don't even get me started on that pretzel challah roll. I dream about when I'm returning to this place. I drive out of my way for Yough sandwiches. Yes, I know they are ultra processed vegan products, but it's my splurge. They are so good I get two at a time and eat the 2nd sandwich later. On the last trip I randomly tried the popcorn. I finished the bag before I walked back to my car, when back to Yough and got another bag. How did I not know this entire time the popcorn was also so good? Please please pleas open a location next to me. read more

I ventured in this shop around 6pm! The store front is beautiful with bright colors. You go in and see so much! They have great vegan products such as chocolates , candies, chips, drinks, Mac & cheese, vegan sandwiches , vegan cleaning products, vegan ice cream and vegan sauces! You name it they got it. I was so hungry and the lady who made my sandwich was so helpful! And Jamie has beautiful energy and was very helpful as well! The sandwich was so tasty, flavorful, and has awesome components! This place is fantastic. The owner Jaime is really friendly and fun to talk to. She clearly has dedicated an extensive amount of time to sourcing the items. (Example/ She told me she had put in serious time trying to track down this fantastic vegan dip only sold at small natural food stores in Santa Cruz I hadn't had in like 15 years. No luck, but she tried) They have a huge selection of items and carry stuff from masking tape to vapes to popcorn to fresh local bread. The seltzer and snack collection is unparalleled. Wow!!! This place is truly a rare gem with an incredible concept, delicious food, unique snacks and wares and super-friendly staff. I spent quite a bit of time chatting with the owner, Jaime, and her passion for creating a a conscientiously-sourced, refreshingly original, and inclusive business is evident and very contagious--she obviously loves what she does! The selections and offerings are vast and it will probably take me several more visits to really appreciate how much Yough has to offer (and I very much look forward to doing my "research"!) Yough is FANTASTIC!! It's really nice to have a neighborhood spot akin to a Bodega with entirely vegan options! As a Bushwick native, less than a block away to have comparable food options and snacks, it's amazing for me, the neighborhood and vegetarian/vegan residents. Brit and Hannah were so lovely and helpful with what options Yough has for me. They were clearly passionate, and as vegans living in the area, also understanding of how important it is to have a spot like this with comparable prices to match - they sold me on Yough being my new everyday spot!
