    Kalua pork hash
    Jazzy S.

We came in for breakfast, since we were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. The reviews looked okay and prices looked pretty high, but we came in to have a quick breakfast. The service was not great, but they seemed pretty short staffed. Ambiance was nice, with outdoor seating and chill vibes. - Kalua pork hash (3.5/5): The flavor was good overall, but it tasted like it was missing something. The potatoes were a purple sweet potato, but it would have paired better with a hash brown or rice. The pork itself was cooked and seasoned well. - Steel cut oatmeal (4/5): Pretty basic, can't really go wrong with oatmeal.

The Garden Grille & Bar is located near the main lobby with an amazing view of the ocean. There was a cool subtle tropical breeze. I was pleasantly surprised with the Bambucha Moco. It was very tasty indeed! Two generous Wagyu beef patties! Please see my pic of the description for details. The Bambucha Moco is a unique creation based on the more traditional Loco Moco which is a comfort food dish...think Mac n Cheese. And so, I was very critical about this Bambucha Moco. LOL. Friendly service with a smile:) Luckily, you do not need to be a registered guest of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel to dine here. There is also a full bar that I will need to try on my next visit.

Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and decided to have some breakfast here. We sat at the bar and got some great service. We had the maple bacon pancakes and the tomato basil avocado toast (on Passion Bakery bread). Breakfast was pretty solid but a bit pricey, as expected for a hotel breakfast. The standout here is the service. Everyone is really nice! No more bar here since they are only open from 6 AM to 10 AM.

We had the Veggie omelette and mochi pancakes. They were both delicious and we would order again. But the service was not what i'd call vacation friendly and a bit slow for the amount of guests at the restaurant. We did not get asked for drink refills and got sat in such a way the sun was shining right in our eyes. But the food was great and I would eat here again. Most of the staff was friendly. *edit: second time we ate here the service was much better. Drinks were refilled and super friendly service. I'm thinking go later in the morning for better service?

    Properly in described menu

They really need to REPRINT all of their menus and list EVERYTHING that's on their items nowhere in the menu does it say it has arugula/ cherry tomatoes and some weird sauce- people could be allergic to something and die

Very nice Hotel Restaurant. Food was excellent. Was a little pricey but good quality of food. The lobsters was awesome. The Local Moco was terrific. The beef was tender and juicy. I believe it was a Wagyu Beef.

Outdoor dining, good freshly cooked to order breakfast with a local touch. Great service, very busy breakfast restaurant.

Great breakfast and wonderful staff. Love this place. Not a fan of the chickens, roaming around.

You place your order, are handed your finely crafted tiki drinks and are given a buzzer for your food. We ordered two versions of the Mai Tai and both were delicious, you can't go wrong. Drinks are strong and well made, with a solid variety of rums to choose from. You truly can't go wrong with any of the Mai Tais. Food was surprisingly good. We loved the kalua pork nachos, the poke bowl, and the panko battered keiki tenders. Perfect beach bar food but done right. If you're staying at the Hilton, you get two free Mai Tai vouchers per day at check in, which makes this spot an easy go to. One of the highlights was the chickens casually wandering up to the bar and the locals sharing background stories and cultural insight about the island. Relaxed, welcoming, and a really fun place to hang out.

The place looks nice but not fancy at all. So we have drinks which were great , and Fantastic Scampi starter! We order entrees 15 mins later they come over and say they are sorry out of what I ordered, then I said no prob ordered something else, 15 mins later Oh! Out of that too. So I just ordered a salad. Hubby ordered $75 Ribeye steak. It was beautiful He tried cutting it, only gave him a butter knife, the gristle was overwhelming. The meat was done beautifully but full of gristle. Everything took forever. Servers were nice, gave good info. So then comes the bill. Way high! We had to pay $25 "service" charge we asked? She said she didn't know asked then said it was to cover linens, etc. Another $5 charge for credit card processing. So $30 added to the $200.00 meal with 1alcohol drink and 1mocktail. While servers were sweet the service sucked not just an island time thing. They had two other tables to serve and three wait staff and were visiting and having a great time with someone at the bar. The sauces were fabulous. We wanted to like it but left feeling like we were ripped off. I was sad but it was the best shrimp scampi I ever had;(
