I had the grilled chicken club sandwich and it was excellent! It comes with thick chunks of generous avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato and grilled chicken and a bag of chips for $17. It's one of the best deals around here eating out and fresh. It's two slices of bread vs three for a club but personally I love it this way! I don't think it would have fit in my mouth if there was a third slice of bread. They also have burgers and other items on the menu. You order through a cute window and they call your name when ready. Because it's on the golf course and players swing by to pick up food at the turn, service is efficient and fast. Walked over for breakfast and arrived 5 minutes before 11 which was the cut off for breakfast . By the time we got to the window it was exactly 11. They have the best breakfast burrito on the island... actually, in the entire state of Hawaii. French fries were served molten hot. Paulina (I believe that that's her name) is very hospitable. I came here several years ago and I remember my burrito being exactly the same and exceptional. I look forward to returning soon and if you have a chance, get a golf lesson from Andrew the Pro. Pretty much the worst BLT we ever had. My wife had a BLT and I had a club sandwich which is pretty much a BLT with chicken for them. The taste wasn't good. I regret eating there. The staff was nice but that's pretty much all. The place is really whatever and they have overflowing trash everywhere and dirty tables. read more

Stopped here for lunch as we had some time to kill before our hotel room was ready. Located on the golf course, the surroundings are relaxed and very pretty. There's outside tables with QR codes to use for looking at the menu. The restaurant was out of two of the items we originally wanted and the drink menu was not updated as they were not serving, or out of, some of the beers listed. We ended up with frings for an appetizer, a chicken quesadilla and a hamburger. The food was fine, not bad, not great. We most likely would not come here to eat again though, it was ok for a needed food break, but not worth a second trip. read more

Hi. I ordered via Uber eats. Hawaii poke spicy tuna chicken Mac and garlic edamame. Edamame oily and not flavorful. Everything tasted t like there was a base and they put flavor on top. Like the edamame the garlic was afterthought. The spicy tuna same as Hawaiian poke but with spicy sauce put in top. Way too salty for my taste. Edamame way too oily for my taste. I was super excited about this place. Disappointed. Also orders. Kazu chicken and no sauces present. My advice is to maybe not order to go and eat there so you can correct the wrongs that take out have. read more

Ordered food and wasn't aware that we had an option for fries (just told it comes with chips, so we assumed they were out of fries). We saw 2 orders before us with fries....ok no prob. We ordered fries after food was done and were very nice. What we got was 2 boxes of what looked like the bottom of every fry bag they had there. So gross. The rest of food fell in line with most of the area....bad but beats cooking at home. Save your money, buy groceries then splurge on Barracuda or Ama for dinner options..... nothing else we have had here (specifically Hanalei/princeville for dinner) is worth it. We are staying nearby and needed some lunch. There is barely ANYTHING open during Covid. We decided to try the golf course since we had done the sunset tour earlier in the week (highly recommend). All of us got different menu items. My mom and I got the coconut shrimp and panini. We loved the shrimp. Good sauce and breading on the shrimp. Panini was great too. Located behind the pro shop of the Makai Golf Club lies a little snack shack that serves decent food. The course is owned by the St. Regis so you can expect solid food in this unpretentious outside lanai. I think it's an option if you are staying in one of the nearby condos or timeshares in the Princeville area as there aren't a lot of places to choose from within the confines of Princeville. Not bad, not great. Tucked behind the golf shop and next to a golf course. Prices are slightly high, but if you want to park in their lot and walk to Queen's Bath, it's a good option (you buy at least $10 worth of stuff and put the receipt in your car as a "ticket"). We visited for lunch and ordered a sandwich and onion rings. The onion rings were solid--they tasted exactly like the fried dish you'd expect. The sandwich was more lackluster. I feel like the grill is convenient for the Queen's Bath parking situation, but if I were visiting Princeville for any other occasion, I would see exactly zero reason to stop by again. read more

Came here on a whim for lunch and was surprised how delicious both of our sandwiches were!!!! I got the club and my boyfriend got the French dip. Club is massive and could easily be split for a lighter lunch. The French dip was amazing!!! I tried a bit of his French dip was jealous the rest of the meal. We went there for breakfast one morning expecting to sit in a small restaurant, but it's just a window where you order your food and then you go sit down and eat it in tables nearby. I don't write yelp reviews however felt it would be a good thing to inform people that this is not the kind of place you go to have a sit down breakfast. It's more like a place where you grab a quick snack at the turn after nine holes of golf. We took a group of four people hoping to have a nice breakfast. After ordering my omelette at the window we were told that it would take 20 minutes for the next omelette to be started. Essentially the grill could only handle one item at a time. For the four of us that meant that it would take 80 minutes for us to receive four items from the grill. Also, the woman running the window did not excel at customer service. She had trouble conveying information, totaling up prices, and delivering drink orders. I wouldn't go to this place again unless I was grabbing a quick snack while golfing. read more

This has been a stop of mine since moving to the island and frequenting the Makai Golf Club for quite some time. Only since a recent change in the GM and improvement in menu items have I made a point to swing by on my days I'm not there with my clubs. The burgers are out of this world delicious, local, grass-fed beef and I now find myself there 3 to 4 afternoons a week.
