We were there 5 mins before the appointment, signed in wait 20 mins and told to go up stairs to get the imaging so the receptionist from up stairs told me that I was late. I explained then she told me the people from down stairs didn't check me in on time so she had to canceled my appointment. And acting like she didn't care about it. Zero stars the the receptionist As a cancer survivor, I've had MANY scans over the year. Wave Imaging (AKA: RadNet) in Garden Grove was the worst experience I've ever had at an imaging center. The female employee that checks in patients at the front desk was unfriendly & rude to most patients, especially the patients that did not speak English as their first language. She firmly ordered all to, "take a seat" and if they didn't she would raise her voice until they did, as if they were children in a class. Secondly, I arrived an hour early because I needed to drink the solution an hour before my scan. Instead, I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before she gave it to me. Fifteen minutes later, the technician called me because he assumed I've would've consumed everything. When he asked why she didn't give it to me on time, she looked at him and said, "Oops, sorry." Completely unacceptable! The only person that I would give 5 stars to is the kind and professional African American gentleman that did my scan. He was great. Save your time and go somewhere else. read more

This place is now called Wave Imaging of Garden Grove and it was a nice experience! I needed X-rays and my dr sent the orders in and I was able to walk in and get them done quickly and the tech was super helpful and knowledgeable! Everyone was friendly and I was out with CD in hand in about 45 minutes. Only 4 stars as the place could use a bit of a facelift but it was totally fine for what I needed! I am pleased as punch with all aspects of my experience. I called the same day my Dr gave me an order for an ultrasound. I needed to fast before the US, and wanted the first appointment of the day. Lucky me, I was scheduled to be seen the following morning at 0815. I was seen exactly on time. The lady who did the work had a limited capacity to engage with me as I only speak English. She took 45 minutes for my right upper quadrant ultrasound. She was quite thorough as far as I'm concerned and I am confident in her skills. Well done. The following day, my provider called with the results. So, I called Garden Grove Advanced Imaging and asked for a copy of the exam and the report. They were ready for me the same day. I can't honestly understand how I got such extraordinary care, but I did. read more

This location has very poor customer service. None of the MRI reports were sent to our physician in a reasonable amount of time. The patient portal was close to useless. Although this is from a patient perspective our Physician is equally unsatisfied with the service post MRI. We are 10 days out and still cannot get the report on the MRI. read more

This review is for WaveImaging Garden Grove. I went here today for a pelvic ultrasound which was not something I had looked forward to! The ultrasound technician was so kind and asked for my consent with everything she did. She was very kind and had excellent bedside manners. I was very patient at this location. The receptionist had me waiting over 3 hours. Let other people go ahead of me. They received my insurance information and authorizations. They needed a order letter which had been faxed. But still put in last on line. Another gentleman came in and they let him get x-rayed, and said it's ok we'll wait for the form to come in. ???? I don't know how they would call me multiple times prior to my appt and then tell me last minute that I would have to go home because the authorization was different when I literally just verified over the phone multiple times the day before to make sure that everything was correct and the front desk somehow never realized that there was a mistake until I POINTED it out. How in the hell are they so unorganized and didn't even notice a big mistake?! How is it that I verified with them over the phone and they still got their information mixed up?! I spoke with 2 different front desk girl and 1 male and they all verified with me so how in the hell do all 3 of them give me false information AND overlook a mistake. What a waste of my time. Very unprofessional. This is the reason why I make sure my info is correct beforehand so I can avoid these types of issues but this office is whack. read more

Ok where do I start? This place from the horrible congested parking lot. To the older people monitoring the front entrance to the building requested your temperature before coming in the building. No hello nothing just them pointing to the electronic face device that takes your temperature. Once I finally got to the imaging office was not greeted by the girl at the front desk. Then to find out after finally finding the suite down the hall then I was told there was no radiology tech there to take my X-ray. Some excuse that the tech was working double positions somewhere else. So an imaging office has no radiology tech in their imaging office? Yea that makes a lot of sense. Should have read their previous reviews first because it pretty much explains that bad service today.So I drove all the way down there for nothing. How they stay in business with crappy service no tech on staff. Stay away if you can find another place to do your imaging if your insurance allows it. read more

So actually I am the best caregiver and worst patient. I had two have an mri again and this time I really got scared. the team handled me like a pro. They got me thru the whole 30 minutes. Heather Hannah is the person in charge and she calmed me and stood by me for the whole ordeal . If we as people are able to say what we need to the staff and let u know they can better assist you! The MRI technician is not friendly or pleasant. Twenty minutes without moving in the MRI tube is not exactly easy for someone with constant pain like me when the headphone doesn't have soothing music like other places. The room looks unorganized. My "doctor" referred me to this place for a chest x-ray. West Coast Radiology - Garden Grove Advanced Imaging is a branch of BEVERLY RADIOLOGY MEDICAL GROUP. This company has a history of sending FALSE BILLS and DOUBLE BILLING. How do I know? I just got one of these bills today, which prompted me to do the research and give this negative review. The bill is dated some time in December, and I had my x-ray a few months earlier (not going to give them the satisfaction of finding out who I am). In addition, the bill has no due date. YOU CAN'T FOOL ME! Let's spread the word to increase awareness... Needless to say, I no longer see the PCP that referred me to these crooks. I was referred to different xray places from my doctor and this was one of them. Maybey the tec was having a bad day or was not experience, I am not sure but I wanted to put his out there so people are careful. 2 times I had to go here and do ALOT more xrays that I was supposed to because they got it wrong the first time. To make it worse they did not catch the error on the spot and I was just rushed out to take the next person in line. They called me in a day after to tell me I had to go back to get more radiation exposure and drive out of my and then wait forever to be seen. I was not a happy camper. Watch out people. If you have to go ask about the experience of techs and ask about the wait or just go somewere else. read more

I should have read the reviews before coming. My mother's dr recommended this place but I'm sure we could have found some place better. We had questions about the paper work and while we were talking the receptionist answered a phone call and completely ignored us. The people inside are just as rude. When asked a question, I would give detail and they would cut me off with "yeah yeah". I was told I could wait outside by the window while my mom got her ct scan and the receptionist from outside came to me and told me to wait in the waiting room. Was she keeping track of me? I said I was allowed to wait. I went to the bathroom and then asked again to wait somewhere else by the same person who gave me permission to wait by the window. This place is a joke. Terrible customer service. Policies in place makes little sense as they make customers wait long periods because they refuse any form prognosis, even if it's from an Emergency Room or CT scan, which has much more advance imaging than theirs. Acting manager is of little help neither, there is no working or thinking out of the box when servicing customers.
