Our salesman Zaid Hammouri was excellent from start to finish. Kind, respectful, knowledgeable and a hard worker. We originally came to consider a new car for my wife only but Zaid and the sales department worked with us and gave us such a great deal I had no choice but to trade in my car as well. Most dealerships are not willing to budge at all on asking prices but I told Zaid and sales dept exactly what we needed to make a deal and they made it work without any unnecessary back and forth. Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency at this dealership. I came in for a 2022 Rivian R1T advertised on their website for $50,995. However, they refused to honor that price unless I also paid $1,690 for mandatory add-ons (Cilajet and Door Edge Guards) that were never mentioned in the listing. Under California Vehicle Code § 11713.1(e), dealers are required to include all mandatory costs in the advertised price, yet they refused to remove these 'junk fees.' To make matters worse, even for a cash purchase, they insisted on pulling credit--a completely unnecessary practice designed to gather data or push financing. If you're looking for a dealer that honors their own advertised pricing and respects consumer privacy, look elsewhere. Highly recommend you stay away from this place. read more

I scheduled a visit with Mazda of Orange after receiving a written online offer of $52,250 for my vehicle through CarGurus, which was valid through May 28, 2026. I submitted my vehicle on May 21 and was contacted by Adrian from the dealership on the 27th of May. He confirmed the offer and scheduled me for an appointment. Throughout several text exchanges leading up to my visit, I clearly asked multiple times if the offer was accurate and would be honored if I came in. Adrian reassured me that it was, stating that as long as the vehicle condition matched what was submitted, "the numbers wouldn't change." I also confirmed again before heading in, explaining I had a pregnant wife and a daughter at home and didn't want to make the drive unnecessarily. He again confirmed everything was good and told me to come in. Based on those confirmations, I drove to the dealership expecting to complete the transaction. When I arrived, I was informed by management that they could not honor the offer because it had expired, and that I had not notified them of the expiration date. However, I was never informed during scheduling or prior communication that the offer was no longer valid, and I was told multiple times in writing to come in and that the deal was still good. The manager also stated there was "miscommunication" between staff, and that they could not proceed with the original offer. No alternative offer matching the original value was provided, and the deal was ultimately not honored. I expressed my concern that I had driven out based on written confirmation and reassurances, especially given my family situation, but was told there was nothing they could do. I did receive a full tank of gas as a courtesy for the inconvenience. The visit ended without a deal being completed, and I left disappointed due to the disconnect between the written communication and what was honored in person. I'm open to updating this review depending on any follow-up resolution, as I was told someone would reach out. I was approached immediately upon exiting my vehicle and asked what I was looking for. I took a ride in a 2026 Mazda Miata and was thrilled beyond belief to drive that hot little number. The young man provided me a bottle of water and answered all of my questions. He treated me like I was his mother or grandmother. The guy said I had to remember exactly what the error messages were or provide proof, otherwise they would have to charge me $200+ for an inspection. - He was really curt - Seemed unkind (to me) as he was all kindness to others Well I went over to TUSTIN MAZDA with the same issue, told them verbally the issues and they took my car in. What I don't like is when you make appointment for a time and then you find out the appointment doesn't mean anything. If your going to take appointment you need to start the work at that time. I've been searching for a car and have been emailing Mazda Orange about any offers that they have; specifically I've been interacting with Joseph. Mazda Orange emailed me that their CX-5 had a total of 5,785 off . I sent bullet point questions that were not answered; thus I resent the email and asked if they could answer the questions. After much back and forth they eventually answered the questions. They also informed me that the aformentioned 5,785 off deal was incorrect due to a "glitch and error" in the online pricing. It's always possible that there was a mistake for almost all (or all if memory serves) of this particular CX 5 trim. In case Mazda Orange reads this; I will say in generalities that customers usually like transparency and directness. Especially as Mazda is a premium brand and likely has luxury aspirations; higher levels of sales and service are expected. read more

You kind of feel like you're being waited on hand and foot because throughout your time there they ask if you would like tea, coffee or water. The sales people are extremely knowledgeable about the cars, and the finance department explains things to you in depth so you're not in the dark about anything regarding financing. This review is long overdue. I had been coming to this dealership ever since I bought my first car about five years ago. They've always treated my very well, the one time I went to Puente Hills Mazda dealership I remember being treated rudely and they left damage on my car and at first refused to fix it until I showed them proof. Now this is mazda of Orange, my last service with them on 01/06 they did a normal service, this included rotating my tires. I was one of the earlier appointments and was there for over 3 hours, by the end of my service I noticed small damage on my brand new Enkei rims, the guy behind the desk tried telling me a pebble on the road did that, but he was chatting me up about the parts on my car, and I'm sure he's well aware that Enkei are made to last a long time (and very expensive). I felt like I was being gaslit. My rims had no damage on them prior. I asked to speak to someone and he called his manager for me, William Hamilton the service drive manager came and spoke to me. I spoke calmy to him, I understand things happen, told him my concern. I was told I'd be contacted in a day or two, but that never happened. Im writing this review not because I want to be contacted to fix the damaged rim anymore, but so that they follow through and treat future customers better in the future. At least pretend to care, because that's not how I felt in the moment, I love my Mazda and worked hard to get it. A quick shoutout to Moe Abdo, he's an AMAZING advisor and if you do choose to come to this dealership I'd highly suggest requesting him. When I got there Adan was super helpful and closed the deal. We stayed until almost midnight and they made sure everything was perfect and Adan even took the time to explain all the features even though it was so late. Buyer Beware!!! If you are purchasing a used vehicle from Mazda of Orange, I highly recommend you have it inspected by an independent mechanic. We made the unfortunate choice to purchase a 2018 Mazda CX5 for our daughter's first car. It was not cheap ($18k), but we thought Mazda is a good, reliable brand. We purchased the vehicle with approx. 52,000 miles on it, and we took it in for the first service at roughly 55,000 miles. It required almost $3k in repairs: the belts were worn and cracked, the axle boots were torn and leaking grease, and the front axle needed replacement. A week later the valve cover gasket needed replacement (smoke was coming in through the AC vents). Our mechanic said the cracked boots and belts were noticeable based on visual inspection. So, after putting 3k miles on the car everything immediately deteriorated? Highly doubtful. If we had purchased it from a private seller we would have had it inspected. We trusted the dealer to make any needed repairs and didn't think to verify with an independent source. I don't want this to happen to anyone else, so please do yourself a favor and insist on an independent inspection of any used vehicle that is not under warranty. read more

Overall great experience buying my second ever new car here. The salespeople were a little pushy, but if i said no, it meant no and they took that message loud and clear without pushing further. I went in to test drive a CX-50, only because my Volkswagen Taos SE had been totaled in an accident less than a week prior. left with a gorgeous CX-50 Premium in Ingot Blue Metallic. Also i'd like to add that they actually gave me a courtesy car for the Cilajet application which was only supposed to take a few hours! other dealers would make me take a Lyft to my job because my car wouldn't be in the shop for more than 24 hours, and wouldn't usually provide a Lyft back to the dealer (Volkswagen of Garden Grove and Toyota of Orange). Worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. The car we were interested in hadn't even been fully entered into their system yet. I happen to be doing a search online and it popped up without any photos or full information. But because of the price and specs, I immediately requested to see it. Heard back quickly too, waited for Tom to share a Carfax and some photos the next day, and the day after that I requested to come and see it. After we arrived at the dealership, we waited about 20 minutes for them to pull the car around at which time Tom came back out and told me that the car just sold . Was over an hour and 20 minutes drive for us to get to the dealership so, obviously a complete waste of our time . It's mystifying to think in 2024 with the potential for great digital recordkeeping that there would be no note of a potential buyer that I may have been competing with in such a short time window. Every future customer need to read this before deciding to do business here. I would not recommend coming here due to the lack of hospitality, professionalism, and customer service. I was sold a used car with the promise that everything was working properly, yet shortly after purchase, the A/C was blowing hot air. That alone was frustrating, but the way I was treated throughout the process made things much worse. My salesperson, Jaime, was friendly at first but very pushy and not very knowledgeable about the car I was interested in. Every time I asked a question, she would check her phone and read directly from the CARFAX report -- information I had already reviewed myself. There were no real, helpful answers beyond what was already online. The financing experience with Sam was even more uncomfortable. After waiting over 30 minutes with no one in his office, my partner and I went to grab a quick drink from the café area while we waited. When we were told he was ready, we said we'd be right there. Less than a minute later, Sam came out looking around for us, even though we had waited over half an hour for him. When we entered his office, there was no greeting. His first words were loud and aggressive, telling us to remove our coffee cups from the table -- which we didn't realize was a touchscreen because it was off. Instead of calmly explaining, he snapped at us. Throughout the entire interaction, he was vague, impatient, and at times dismissive. He told us "okay, it's done," then when we started leaving, he came back out and said, "You guys are scaring me, you still have more to do." It was confusing and unprofessional. He also interrupted us when we were asking questions and made odd comments about hearing noise from another office, which had nothing to do with our transaction. When he tried to sell us a warranty and we declined, he became even quieter and more cold. Overall, the experience in financing felt rushed, tense, and uncomfortable. I also want to mention a separate experience when I mistakenly went to Mazda instead of Honda for A/C issues. While the mistake was mine, the way Tom handled the situation was passive-aggressive and dismissive. When I first walked in, I saw another employee sitting at his desk area eating with wired earbuds in. I didn't want to interrupt him, so I walked to a different desk -- only for him to call me over while chewing his food to ask what I needed. After slightly explaining, he asked Tom to take care of us and looked back at his computer. That alone felt unprofessional. I asked Tom if he would mind speaking to my shop so they can explain it better. He was rude, defensive and barely cordial while speaking to them. After I apologized and thanked him for his time, he didn't even respond -- just looked back at his computer. It was a simple mistake that took less than 10 minutes of his time, and there was no reason for the attitude. Based on the copy-and-paste responses I've seen from David and ownership on serious complaints, I have no expectation that this will be taken seriously.
