I always come to this Shell station to get gas but you lost a customer tonight. A tall, lanky, white guy came up to me and said that I was blocking the "gentleman" behind me. I was actually waiting for him to leave for several minutes but he was taking his sweet time. There was no line behind him so I don't see any reason that I was not allowed to pump gas at an unoccupied pump. So I left without finishing pumping a full tank of gas to let the gentleman behind me leave. And just as I enter my car the truck beside me was leaving as well and the gentleman behind me could've just waited for a few minutes and pass through there. But nooo, you had to tell another person actively pumping gas to stop what they are doing so you could pass through and leave. The entitlement of some people I cannot fathom. read more

Ok let's just say this is a horrible buisness. Today I went and got gas and a car wash. As I'm leaving the wash all of a sudden a piece of my suv flys over the windshield. It was the like 7 foot metal strip off the top and it was all bent. I grabbed it and pulled up front. I went and told the attendant and he called and a manager came out. This little Asian lady named Wendy or windy came out. She had a horrible attitude. I told her what happened and she says if well you would be shocked how many times this Happens. It's just normal wear. I was like umm no. She then says oh it's just plastic you can pop it back. I show her it's all metal and Ann bent. She then says let me try. She couldn't move it. I've been going to this Shell gas station for years. I've never had any problems with the pumps or with the employees. It's right on the corner with entrances on both sides. This is both good and bad. When it's rush hour, it gets pretty busy and cars line up into the streets for a bit. I avoid rush hour and go early before work or later on at night. When I pump a full tank, I buy a car wash and save it for future use. You save $.10 a gallon (I think). My favorite thing is that on Saturdays (not every), they serve free coffee! So yum. read more

This location is always consistent. The owner (or manager) Joe H. and his daughter are always cheerful and committed to keeping the station well maintained. I also appreciate the cheerful posts on the pump stations during various seasons. I've never seen a gas station offer coffee, but prior to the shutdown they would often provide complimentary coffee to customers on the weekends. Who does that anymore?! There's nothing negative to review. Their location is immaculate. Their prices are competitive. Even if it was priced higher, I would continue to support them due to the evident pride in ownership and management. Keep up the excellent work. read more

This is probably the most competitive Shell gas station in North Orange County, or, perhaps all of the OC! Located on the corner of Euclid and Chapman, across from a Starbucks is this always busy Shell gas station. They offer competitive prices, especially if you pay cash or with a Shell gift card (which you can buy across the street at Ralphs). So, its worth shopping at Ralphs to get a Shell gas card ($100 gift card gets you 200 rewards points) and earn the cash price discount. With the 200 Ralphs reward points, it gives you an ADDITIONAL 20 cents off per gallon on the cash or credit price. - The prices are already 10c to 20c less than most other gas stations, so if you add the Ralphs rewards discount, plus cash discount, you'll save 30c- 40c per gallon compared to the competition. - If you add a car wash, they'll take off an additional 10c off! I filled up mid grade, and my price with the cash and the Ralphs discount came to $3.23 / gallon. The Cheveron down the street was $3.55, and that was their cash price, before the Vons discount. The only down side is this location is SUPER crowded (unless you fill up at 6 am), and the customers don't care which way they enter or park their cars. So usually it gets bottlenecked. If you're not patient, and can't stand stupid, inconsiderate drivers, then this is not the locatoin for you, regardless of how cheap their gas is. It's funny how many gas stations under the same banner can be so different. This shell station succeeds big on a few simple factors. I find myself stopping here more and more. The gas prices are generally competitive and the location is clean. They recently installed new pumps that run quickly and have the little TV monitor to focus on (and not pay attention to the running total while filling up, I'm sure). What I really like, besides the cleanliness, is how "in to" the different holidays this location gets. During summer near the 4th, there are tons of American flags and red white and blue banners all over. A month a half away from Christmas, the decorations and lights are up and the Christmas music is playing. I know it's just a gas station and you're only there for a few minutes, but it makes it an enjoyable few minutes. First things, first: This gas station is ONE WAY. Most people don't realise the arrows on the ground are pointing to go in one direction. Second thing: The gas hoses EXTEND. Keep that in mind. I have once seen the gas attendant explaining this to a customer going in the wrong direction, and the customer still insisted on his way. ANYWAY, that is the only thing that annoys me when I come to this gas station, since I may have OCD and it's also an accident waiting to happen. Though this isn't the nearest gas station to me, it's the nearest that offers a car wash! As far as gas prices go, it is what it is - I just find myself coming here from time to time so I don't look like I'm doing my part of conserving water by not washing my car. I don't usually fill up my motorcycle here as the pumps aren't positionally situated to where I can stay seated on my bike - but I like it here for my car because I don't usually wait for a pump because of how many there are. I refilled propane today and I was greeted by two ladies, they were really nice. I even had a leak on my propane tank and they pointed it out for me. I'm not saying the gasoline here is bad but i'm not happy with the customer service here at all. Very rude employee! My husband came here tonight and he fogot to bring cash with him. He only had $5 in his wallet. He thought this gas station might be the same as other places where he can get free car air for $5 of gasoline. He wasn't sure but he was willing to pay by card if they don't accept $5 cash, although he doesn't like to use card at places that he doesn't trust. He just wanted to use all of the cash he had at that time. The thing is when he asked the cashier, the guy answered my husband in Vietnamese. He said the gasoline here is very expensive so $10 is a minimum. My husband asked him if $5 is ok. He said "If you don't have enough money then go away to another place!" Really??? In English is rude enough but what he said was in Vietnamese, my husband understood clearly what he said and it was very insulted. We are not poor to be insulted like that, but if we were, he didn't have any right to say like that to customer. Where is :" Unfortunately, we can't accept that" or "Oh I'm sorry, you need more than that"??? A simple "No" is fine too! We both working in retail department, he is a manager, and we now that's not the right way to talk to customer! This is an absolutely immaculately run family business. The family is smart and honest. I lost a DVD case with $600 in it while buying gas and going through the car wash. I always rave about the amazing customer service at this gas station. They are always so tentative, nice, and helpful. However, today I decided to get my car washed. I put the 8$ in the machine for the best wash and nothing happened. The machine even congratulated me for getting the best wash. I drove in and nothin happened. So I pulled out and told the guy at the window that the car wash didn't work and he started asking me for a receipt. The machine didn't ask me if I wanted a receipt and but why would I think to get one? It's just a cash. I didn't think that after it washing the truck a head of me that it would stop working. The guys asks me if there is water on my car and obvious there are droplets from driving through the car Wash to leave. I said you guys have cameras, you can see that I paid $8 and was in line. PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!! I've been coming here for years and never ever had a problem. Everyone has always been nice and professional. The reason I'm writing is I think ( I know ) my shell reload gift card has been hacked into and I strongly believe it was this station. Reason I believe it was here is a couple reasons. 1st I started to notice that I was running out of money on my card, so I called the number on the card and got my transactions. For the last few months there has been transactions from this gas station on several back to back days for $70- $80. I drive 12 Mike's a day. No way could I use over $100 a week. So I looked at yelp to see if anyone else had this same problem with this station. Well i couldn't find anyone but then i remembered. I have a few friends with businesses and use yelp. They said if you get a bad review that you can move it ( can't delete it just move it) but when you move it they have to move a couple good reviews as well. I found someone that had the same problem and yes it was moved. Why would the owner move the review? They have 10 more reviews that gave 1 star rating but decided to move that one. I feel the owner has something to hide. As the owner they can respond to a review. They could have said I'm sorry this happened to you. I will look into it. But no, they moved it. So now I know for sure this station hacked my card and there's nothing I can do. But post this over and over again. Until they do something about it. DO NOT GO TO THIS STATION!!!!!!! They have taken enough from us. Go to costco. Gas is cheaper there........... Thieves. It's all fun and games until you realize their advertising isn't true. Please don't say gas costs "2.79" if you pay in cash when it isn't true. Today I pumped $20 worth of gas but only got 6.66 gallons of gas. After doing the math I should have got 7.16 gallons not the 6.66 or I should have paid less than the 20. I know it's not much but with that false advertisement I bet you guys trick plenty of people a day and it adds up. It adds up to the amount of gas you're holding off on people. Drove all the way over here to use the car wash to find out that there's a quarter stuck in the credit card slot. So I wasn't able to use any type of a debit card and I noticed a big line behind me so I ended up losing my turn. What a waste! I'm honestly very surprised how well the car wash cleaned my car. From now on I'll take it here to get washed if I need it done quickly. It got off 98% of everything that was on the car. The last few weeks my car has been back and forth on dirt roads so it was a mess. The only thing it really missed where some of the wheels. It would make me super happy if I could give this loser zero stars. I always get my gas at Costco because it is always the cheapest. I needed to wash my car and pulled into this hole. $5 dollars for a basic wash, OK. Waited my turn and sat through the mediocre wash. There is a gate type thing hanging from the ceiling when it is supposedly "done". I was waiting for the dryer to stop so I could take full advantage of quality drying time when the wash started again. And the guy behind me was a baller because he had all that fancy pink, yellow and blue foam. At this point, I know it isn't my wash but I am not going to pull out before it's finished (that's what he said). Well, the toothless chap that works there comes over and motions me to pull forward. I respect the man so I do as I'm told. But now I have soap all over my car, WTF. I pull around and roll down my window and ask the guy why he made me pull forward. He ignores me, which at the time I thought he couldn't hear me. So, I get out of the car and ask him, "Why did you make me pull out before it was finished?!" He must not be used to being questioned by women because he immediately became defensive and said, "I will deal with you in a minute.." I was like, "Deal with me? I am asking you a simple question". He says "I will kick you off this premises and not allow you to come back to this carwash". OMG this guy is ridic. I say "Why the hell would I care?!" This is one of the gas stations that has better prices in my area, so you can understand why there are always lines. I don't like the layout of the station where the attendant is in the middle. There's a tiny little kiosk that sells a whole bunch of stuff. I think the service is slow, adding to these long lines. Everyone wants to pay cash because the gas prices are 10 cents a gallon cheaper than if you were to pay with card. This holds up the lines too.
