Been a customer for years, but I stopped going here because the owner is a jerk. There was a lot of bird droppings on my car, so I brought my car in when there was nobody waiting to use the wash bay. I soaked the car with water/soap and had to hand wipe all the bird droppings. The owner came by and started scolding me on how slowly I was washing my car. I looked around and saw that nobody was even waiting for the wash bay, so what was the big f'ing deal!! The owner is now teaching people how to wash their own cars?? read more

4 stars only because time is wasted inserting coins here! Everything else is great. They accept card & Apple Pay but the machine gives coins that you need to insert for the wash. It wouldn't be that big of a deal except i wasted a minute before i was done entering all my coins. Machine counts down as soon as the minimum is entered. read more

This place can get really busy so make sure you account for wait time if you decide to come here. But I wouldn't. First, I don't think the pricing is that good. The base rate here is a quarter/token for 24 seconds and it just scales up, no extra time for more money. I ended up paying $5 for just 8 minutes. Second, you can't pay direct with cash or card at the bay. You have to convert to tokens first. I hate this because the timer starts going after the first 5 tokens ($1.25 is the minimum payment) and I'm stuck inserting the remaining 15 as fast as I can. Water pressure from the nozzle felt fine to me. It's also nice that they have clips on the wall for washing floor mats. During main operating hours, they also have an attendant. It's not the worst place and it's certainly very popular based on the lines I see, but I just think there are better options. read more

Very, very solid (and clean!) self-serve car wash station. The cost is $1.25 to start for 2 minutes worth of wash time. Any additional minute is $1. Tip: you are better off paying the $1.25 to start for 2 minutes, letting the time right out, and then paying another $1.25 for another 2 minutes vs putting in more coins to extend your session. There are five car wash stations. I've been here a couple times and both times there were no lines. There is also an on-site attendant in case you have any issues. You can pay directly using quarters, or exchange your bills for coins. I believe you can also use credit card but not sure if there are any added fees. Vacuum is $1/minute. Popped in to clean my ride during a road trip through the OC. Simple enough set up. Buy the tokens and wash your car. There is a vacuum set up outside the wash areas. Came here around 730 last Wednesday evening because it's usually less packed. One of the short young guys working there in a hat said I need to stop using my own sponge and that I need to use their POS broom because "people who bring their own equipment take too long" and people are waiting. Give me a break dude, one guy was in line and he barely pulled up. He said he was going to call the manager and I told him "go for it, I'll wait" and continued to clean my car. He did a lap around the car wash and started to talk to someone else. He never called him. I've been coming here for over 3 years and never had an issue of using my own sponge. Their broom scratches the paint which is why I don't use it. if they start giving people bs about using their own equipment I'm not coming back. $1 for 4 quarters is a rip if you need 5 to start the car wash, half the time one of the coins don't work! And the way the car wash is angled isn't correct because when people wash their cars it faces the lot where people dry their car which defeats the purpose. read more

I've been coming to this car wash ever since I was in high school and would come with my dad to wash his vehicles. My favorite DIY car wash for sure! It's clean and they have the air gun/compressors available during certain business hours. There is now the option to pay either cash or credit card to get coins so that's pretty cool. No apple pay though. My coins do tend to get stuck in the machine often lately and thankfully I always carry a tweezer with me and I'm able to get my coins. Suggestion: Fix those machines. They don't let you bring buckets to use your own soap, so dont get upset if they tell you something. It's a policy. There is usually a staff member working on site which I like. Usually, I get my car nice and clean with vacuuming for $10 and I don't have to tip anyone :) . read more

Tried this car wash based on the reviews and thought it was ok. It's definitely clean, conveniently located on a major street and right off the 22 freeway and they have a small efficient staff. I have to use self car wash places and they're few and far between so I was happy to read all the great reviews. You have to get tokens from a token machine and the great part is they accept debit cards! Most self car wash places you have to have quarters or get your big bills cashed out in coins. I didn't have to wait too long and got a bay within 5 minutes of arriving. At my go-to self car wash place it usually costs around $10 and 10 minutes to do a full and complete wash and dry of my car. I spent $7 on tokens and was able to get my car thoroughly washed in about 8 minutes with some tokens left over. I drove my car over to the vacuum area and saw it costed more tokens or coins to use the vacuum. There was one air dry hose in the vacuum area and since I didn't park next to it I had to drag it behind another car and spend my last four tokens on this. The air dry hose was fairly weak and did an ok job of drying. I mainly used it to dry the windows and side rear view mirrors. So overall my experience was ok, but the only downfall is the air dry hose that costs extra and wasn't really powerful. I go to a self car wash place on Lincoln and West in Anaheim and it's a little ghetto looking compared to Oasis, but there's an air dry hose that's at each car wash bay, that hangs from the ceiling and is pretty powerful and gets my car dry fast. I spent $7 at Oasis but would've paid the extra $3 for more time to dry my car with an air hose. read more

Honestly for me this was probably the best car wash experience I've had yes during busy hours wait time might seem a little long but it was worth it in the end because of the friendly staff that work here and help you wait in line so other people don't jump in and take your spot. The start up time is ($1.50) for 2 minutes but I feel like the extra quarter or two that you might save on another sketchy car wash is worth it here. Their pressure washer is one of the best I've seen around so far and their low pressure pre soak soap was not watered down to the point where it is water like many other places. This place is number one. I feel so happy. There is one guy there, he is super nice and he is willing to help. When I was there for the 1st time, he showed me everything carefully and kindly. He goes around to clean up and set up neatly equipment after customers left. I have been here so many times because it is located really close to my house ^__^. I spent $7 dollars at the 1st time. But now I get used to it so I could wash my car, vacuum, everything to make my "babe" looks handsome for just $4. Lol. I become more professional on washing car haha. All self car wash facilities are not the same. The thing I like about this one is that some of the bays are semi-private and not facing the main street. Another good thing is that big screen on the top corner that indicates time remaining. Also, this facility is very clean. I went to a different one by my house and there were ants everywhere. Decided to try out this place because of all the great review. It is a very nice place and very clean. Although for me, the high pressure soap wasn't working for me. Nothing came out. I'm sure I just happened to get a bad one. The vacuum wasn't as good as I thought but it did get most of the gunk out so it's better than nothing. I like the token system though. It was pretty easy to understand. I also like how the system in the car wash bay starts beeping when you only have a minute left. Each coin you add gives you an addition minute. But if you let the timer run out, each coin will only give you 30 sec. I tried this place on my sister's car that she never washes. I wish I had before and after cause it was a big difference. Overall pretty happy with the way it turned out. I spent less than $6 in total since I didn't use up all my coins. It's $3 for 12 tokens and it costs 4 coins to start the wash/ vacuum. P.S: If you really love your car and care about not introducing scratches/swirl marks on your car, DO NOT use the foaming brush that is provided. read more

I've been coming to Oasis for over 15 years now and let me tell you, nothing has changed (in the best way possible). Their equipment is always in working condition, their facility is spotless clean and well maintained, and best of all, it's $1 to start! There are 5 wash bays and "bucket washing" is prohibited, since space is limited. If you are gonna use a bucket, be considerate and do it in the evening when there's less cars waiting, right? Anywho, you got your usual wash modes: High pressure rinse, spot free rinse, wax, high pressure soap, foaming brush etc. After washing your vehicle there are coin operated vacuum machines and the BEST feature of all...... COMPRESSED AIR to completely dry your vehicle! Did I mention the air is FREE of charge? Just make sure you wash before 9:00pm if you want to use the air, since the heads are removed around this time. Not sure why I wrote so much about a car wash. I guess I have a lot of free time and really respect this place. First visit wasn't the greatest. There was 1 car ahead of me, and they were inconsiderately parked in the middle, making it impossible to form a line and to GET OUT OF THE STREET AND BLOCKING TRAFFIC. There was an attendant cleaning the area, but he did nothing to ease the congestion. One person in the wash bay spent 10 minutes going around his car and cleaning his tire rims with a towel. The attendant should have told him to move to the drying area. The passenger in the car in front of me stepped out to confront this tire-cleaning guy, but nothing happened. We all just continued to wait. I did ask the car in front of me to move their car behind a wash bay of (rather than sit smack right in the middle like a jerk) so others can get into the lot. His rude response was, "It's not my fault that everyone wants to come here during such a busy time." Classy... My advice to the owners of this place, have an attendant direct traffic, or paint lines on the ground so people can organize themselves. read more

Through these difficult times of quarantine and small business closures, I was excited to see that my favorite car wash was finally open again! I noticed a price increase which did not bother me one bit since the owner always keeps his place clean and up to date! I have always made sure that my friends, family, and local clients know about this place! Now, I wouldn't be taking time out of my day to write a 1 star review but I do feel the need to share my experience as a returning customer. Upon arrival, I find this employee, smoking a cigarette and washing out an empty station near the change machines. The day is hot and although the strong odor from the smoke is annoying, I simply grab my coins and return to my car where I find him meeting me on the opposite side of my car, already hosing down the floor inside my station (a little rude, but I'll let the man work). This man was hovering around the station I was using (the one closest to Trask) and he now has a face mask on (kudos for client protection and abiding by CDC standards during this pandemic). I turn my back for 2 seconds and he removes his face mask, again, takes a cigarette and lights it up right in front of my car. A gentleman of his age and lack of customer acknowledgement simply told me that there was no talking to him. As a non-smoker, I find it absolutely disgusting (even more so on a hot day) that I have to be breathing that in throughout the duration of my visit. I understand it is a car wash, but I doubt the owner would allow such display of unprofessionalism. I will be returning within the next 7 days, out of respect for the owner, but if I cannot wash my car in peace for the short amount of time that I am there, I do believe I have to move on to another location. read more

Passed this place by chance, and decided the car is just too dirty! The place is impeccably clean, and I noticed there was an attendant scrubbing and sweeping trash off the floor. Bravo! Price is reasonable, spent $5 for 10 min. I'm really anal when it comes to washing cars. The biggest praise is the foam brush, because the thing just keeps flowing! The detailing area is amazing, plenty of space (I assume each space is meant for only one car). Each space has a roller to dry your towels. Their vacuum machines are wonderful.
