They quoted us $1,850 and promised it would look "professional and clean" within two days. What a joke. They showed up late both days, left huge piles of old leaves and branches scattered across the yard for us to deal with, and barely touched half the shrubs. The mulch they dumped is uneven, full of sticks and weeds, and they spread it way too thin in some spots and piled it up against the house in others--like they were trying to hide the fact they didn't weed first. Now my foundation is probably going to rot. The lawn edging looks like it was done with a drunk weed eater. Crooked lines everywhere, and they scalped the grass in several patches so bad it's brown already. One of my rhododendrons got completely hacked up--branches just snapped off and left lying there. When I called to complain, the owner got defensive and basically said "that's how it's supposed to look" and "you should have been more specific." We paid half upfront like they asked, and now they're dragging their feet on coming back to fix anything. I had to spend another $300 just to have a different crew come clean up their mess so our yard doesn't look abandoned. Save yourself the headache and money. There are plenty of honest landscapers in Sherwood and Tigard who actually know what they're doing. This company ruined our spring curb appeal and wasted two weekends of my time. Never again.

Sent a quote request for a yard cleanup and bi-weekly upkeep to a few different own care companies, and they were the fastest to reply. They came out the next day, gave me a great price, and we scheduled the cleanup. They were late the first day they came, but we understood that things happen and didn't mind too much. I would describe the service they provided as "fine." They didn't do everything they needed to do, and when I asked them about the stuff that still needed to be taken care of, they said they'd come back to to finish it. That didn't happen - they just came back to provide the regular maintenance. They came a few more times, but each time it seemed they forgot something (no weed pulling, no trimming of the bushes, leaving bramble behind, etc). I really got the sense that they didn't care about providing the service; that was confirmed when they stopped showing up. We never had a conversation about it...they just completely ghosted us. I tried reaching out to them, but it was radio silence. Something else that made me incredibly uncomfortable is that they don't offer invoices. They just want payment through Venmo. As other people have said, this business can be unprofessional. My advice would be to pay a bit more somewhere else for more reliable service and communication.

And then for me to put in extra effort to reach out again just to have them ignore shows me they aren't too serious about new business nor the time and energy from potential customers.

I had a representative of the first company I chose show up and he looked everything over, got information, and took that information back with him. Meanwhile I called Jamal at Treetime and he came out the next business day or so and gave me a quote instantly. After another day or two the first company emailed me their quote and it was nearly double Jamal's. Either company would probably have done fine. They both have stellar reviews. I am happy I chose Treetime. They were done in less than two hours, which is what Jamal thought it would take.
