I am very disappointed. They came out and someone took pictures of the project I need done. They said they would get back to me. A week later I called because I had not heard anything. I still have not heard back from them. It would be much better to tell me they are not interested in doing this work than ghosting me. It's sad because of all the good reviews. Perhaps they are good for other kinds of work than what I need. Just know that if your project is not one that they feel comfortable with you may be ghosted too. read more

Great work! Trimmed and thinned a huge tree and hauled off the debris. Also removed and hauled off a maple tree. Lastly, trimmed a hawthorn tree that was completely overgrown. The yard seems so much bigger and lighter now. Clean-fast-affordable. Will be using them again next year! read more

Saw their ad on Facebook, so was a little skeptical... but they responded promptly, came out, and gave us a thorough and completely professional bid. It was very reasonable, and detailed exactly what we wanted to have done. They scheduled the work quickly and came out on time. Did a great job of cutting down an old birch tree, sawing it up, removing all the wood, and grinding the stump. Also hauled away a very old log pile of a tree we had taken down 5 years ago. Left everything in neat order, including the driveway and street where they did the chipping. Recommend them very highly! read more

Foreman (Nick) is rude, dismissive and didn't finish the job of removing a hazard tree (even though their reception said the job would be done within 48 hours). His crew has also damaged the property of neighboring houses and made no effort to contact the affected parties. Initially they responded right away and gave me a bid that was reasonable. Then I did not hear from them for about 10 days and had to call them. We settled on a date and they did not show up. The secretary said they were still at another job. Today, they were supposed to be here at 9 a.m. and at 10, I called . Supposedly they were picking up material. Finally at 1 p.m. after no show, I called and found out they were "at another job." How do you schedule another job when our appointment was for 9 a.m. No communication, not trustworthy. I was VERY impressed with Evergreen! I searched around for a good company to remove a large tree on our property and am so glad I found them. They were outstanding to work with from start to finish! Very accommodating, friendly, very reasonably priced, and they really went above and beyond the scope of work / my expectations. The tree was very close to the house, which had me concerned initially, but they did an excellent job of safely removing it. They also cleaned up all the debris very well afterward. Great company. Did a solid job cutting down 2 80' fir tress that were super close to my house. Gave me a quote the same day I called and showed up on time to get started. Had them grind some old stumps as well they missed some of one but 3 out of 4 is not bad. Fair price on the bid. I am happy with the service they provided. We had a snowstorm come through that caused large heavy branches to fall onto our metal wire fence and backyard. Evergreen was quick to come out for an estimate and was able to get us on their schedule in the same week. This is the second time I used this company to remove a dangerous tree. Fair pricing, fast service, hard working team. These guys are top drawer. Nick was very professional, calling me back within 1/2 hour of leaving him a voice mail. I had a huge Sweet Gum tree needing an assessment of some trunk damage that happened before I bought the home so I had no idea of how long ago the branch had broken off. He determined being the tree species is a hard wood that the trunk and tree were still healthy and a good pruning of the heavy canopy was in order. The before and after are amazing. They are Excellent. They did everything right. It was very easy to get hold of them every time, I talked to AV for the bids and if I had questions he always answered the phone personally, very easy to talk to down to earth person and very professional and on time every time. I have used them twice for big jobs, especially the second job was big clean up on the ground of old downed trees and also removing huge dead poplar trees (or rather giant 100+ feet stumps) that were very close to my neighbor house and I was afraid they may fall on the neighbor house with big winds. Their prices are reasonable, the company cares for the employees by providing them with right equipment and they even have small lift tractor so the employees don't have to manually carry big logs to the truck. All employees have very good and positive attitude, polite and they are very safety conscious, they didn't do anything crazy or cut any corners which was very important for me to see and always wore protective gear, ropes, helmets etc. Will call them again anytime I need more work. Part of our fence blew down in the recent storm so I called Evergreen Landscape as I like to give my business to a local company when I can. They were quick to come out and gave me a quote the next day and scheduled the repair within a week. Great job on the repair and cleaned up afterwards. I hired Evergreen Landscape Care and Tree Services to finish a stone walkway and add a low garden retaining wall. I found them on Home Advisor where they advertised themselves as stone masons. When they arrived to work Anival Valencia said to me "You know this contract is only for four days. If the work goes over four days you pay more." I said that wasn't true and had a copy of the contract. I offered they just leave if they won't honor the contract. They said they'd honor the contract. They didn't. They had a copy of the job but didn't follow it. They promised me workers with 10 yr minimum experience with stone walkways and retaining walls but used four people with no experience. Nick Valencia said they had nowhere else to work because they ran out of materials at another job site. Nick did not supervise or train the inexperienced ones. The walls were to be 8 inches wide and between 6 and 12 inches high. I came down to 6 inches width and then 5 inches because he complained about having to search for big enough stones. Still they used 3 and 4 inch wide stones in places. In many places they didn't mortar in between the stones beside each other and most of the workers hardly used mortar between layers of stones. Rather than chip off rough edges of stones, they stuck chips of stone to fill in spaces- most not even mortared in. I could fit my fist in some of the holes they left. They placed stones on top of each other rather than staggering so in many places there were open holes from the top of the wall down to the base. I had told Nick and Anival it was a retaining wall around garden beds and needed to be steppable. It was not. The work order called for back mortaring to brace the wall but they did not do it, except for a few places the good workers completed. Even after giving it three days to set, stones could just be picked off the top off the walls. The wall tumbled over in places if stepped on. Whenever I told Nick he wasn't working to our contract he became belligerent, telling me I wasn't letting them do their job. I told them they could just leave now. I had paid them enough for the work so far completed. Nick said they'd leave if I paid in full. I said I wouldn't pay the contract amount because they hadn't finished the work. Nick threatened to put a lien on my house. Nick and Anival were rude, insulting and arrogant. Their work was grossly inadequate. Their integrity non-existent. I am taking most of their walls down and rebuilding correctly. I don't believe they deserve the opportunity to fix their work because they wouldn't correct it as it was being done. Also, I cannot trust they would fix it. read more
