Terrible pedicure. Picked the most expensive one for some pampering. The woman didn't trim my nails, left old polish on, filed a little bit and left my toe nails jagged. I had to ask her multiple times to fix them. On the cheese grading part (terrible way to say it), she barely touched my calluses. I was actually shocked at the experience. Will never go back and cannot recommend them. Oh and when I was checking out, she reminded me to tip. Seriously? I tipped but it would have been much more had it been a good experience. I went in for a manicure with my wife who got a pedicure. She has been going there for a very long time and really likes the owner Sammy. Unfortunately my experience was most unpleasant. After wait at the station for a bit an employee came up, grabbed my hand and began to work. As there were several options on the menu I had no idea what she was going to do. English was clearly a second language so communications was mostly through hand gestures. As she finished the trim she grabbed my fingers and began to rub them rapidly and roughly. I was unaware that I had pain in my hands until she began. She was done quickly. Then she grabbed both hands and began to rotate my wrists rapidly. Before I could say anything she said "You're done" and left abruptly. She was right about the done part. read more

My wife and I returned today for our second visit. My wife was here 2 weeks ago to get new gel nails. She had Kenney put them on and loved them. The nails are excellent and took only an hour. I had my nails cut while I waited. Kathy only took 10 minutes to cut, file and polish mine. The pricing is very reasonable at $10 for a trim and $25 for a full set of Gel nails. The facility is very modern with clean equipment and soft chairs. The staff are very friendly but efficient. They follow good safety and cleaning procedures routinely. We had been referred here by our bank officer on the coast. She reported this is the top facility around and worth the one hour drive here. We agree and highly recommend them! read more

I asked for a number 2 and when it came to the hot oil on my feet she left on for 30 seconds and then removed. Because she did not tell me that the lotion they used had mangos in it. I'm allergic and we have a battery reaction because of the mango lotion that she put on my legs . so I asked her she rinsed off my my legs said sorry and then walked away did not finish my foot massage because if I wanted I have to pay an extra $5.00 for a different lotion. And then charged me full price will not be back bad customer service. And when I asked are you going to take off for not getting that service done she told me not her fault. That I was allergic to the lotion had to rinse off my feet and legs. read more

Just went in to get a dip manicure. The manicurist commented negatively several times on how short my natural nails were, did the dip way too thick, and when I asked her politely if she could file it down more she said no and that it would "crack". I get dip monthly at another salon, just happened to go in here today with a small group of friends. I know what a dip manicure is supposed to look like and how it's supposed to be done, and the length of my natural nails does not affect that. Will not be going here again, don't waste your time & money. read more

Went to do nail refill for the first time. The new nails were better than the previous. The color shape and work was excellent.

Don't go!!! Arrived to an empty salon for gel nails and a pedi. Now I know why it was empty. A young man appeared. He started working on my nails first. I said I was hoping there would be someone doing my pedi while I was getting my nails done...hoping to get out earlier. He said there was no one else working, so couldn't do it. I wondered why he was doing my gels first. It would be more logical to do the pedi with regular polish that would dry while I was getting the gels done. He was well along with my nails when he suggested I may want to do the gels on my toenails, then I wouldn't have to wait around for y nails to dry. He had me!! Of course I agreed not wanting to hang for a half hour. And by the way, that would be an extra $10. They also require you buy the Emory sticks and some other tools for $When I got home I stopped to study the results closely. Check out the photos. The toenail was thick and waved. I am now paying for the two toenails that were cut too short. The chips didn't appear for a week. And I wondered why he painted so far from the cuticle, making it look as if my nails had grown out. Wouldn't recommend. This sites says this is a cheaper place than most. Not true. One of the photos has their prices posted on the wall. You'll see they are the same as most salons, so don't think you're getting a bargain. read more

This nail salon is the best in town, in my opinion! The employees are friendly. The salon is very clean. My favorite nail technician is Hannah! She takes great pride in her work. She puts a base coat, three layers of polish, each piece of glitter by hand and then the top coat. My mani/Pedi lasts forever! I've had other techIndians at different salons and my nails only last 2 weeks! Hannah's lasts for weeks! They get pretty busy, especially on the weekends. I usually stop by and make my appointment for a few days out. Sure, they take walk-ins, but you might have to come back in a few hours. It's just easier to make an appointment. As long as Hannah is here, and they continue their cleanliness of the salons and keep their friendliness, I will continue here! They also have a huge color selection! read more

Tried this place a few months ago for the first time and was left with the most painful ingrown toenails! I've had a lot of pedicures in my life and never have I been left with such pain. The lady that did my nails rushed through my appointment and I had to talk to her a few times to be more gentle!! This should never happen when you get a pedicure. I even have to go to the podiatrist later this month to help with the two ingrown toenails I was left with. Unacceptable, Garden Nails and I will never be back!! :( read more

They do a very decent job with nails but getting an appointment is next to impossible and they are kind of rude about it. I have a baby and I have to juggle her somewhat unpredictable nap schedule so I've been trying to get my nails done for a month and they keep not being able to take me. I'm talking weeks. My friend and I had been regular customers of the salon for periodic pedicures, but the last visit there turned out badly for me. The young woman who did my pedicure said that she was a new employee, and that her name was Kimmy. I got a very serious infection from that visit, which entailed three visits to the doctor and three different antibiotics, before it was healed. I strongly suggest that whoever does the training of new employees do a better job. I won't be back. read more

I really enjoy coming to Garden Nails. While all the ladies are meticulous and genuinely caring, Hannah is my favorite. She is so gentle and takes her time making sure your nails look top notch. They were great in the beginning and then slowly over the past 6 months started getting worse. Owner is very rude, zero social skills and the last three times I tried to make an appointment with my kids she rudely yells "no don't have any time for you" I asked anytime soon? "No I don't have any time for you". I've always tipped well and my kids have always been well mannered. The largest variety of colors of schlac to choose from I have EVER seen!!!!! This is my favorite mani/pedi in McMinnville. In my experience, it is best to make an appointment at least one day in advance or go in first thing in the morning as soon as they open because the place fills up quick. What a great problem as a business owner, right?! :) Regardless, it is worth the wait. Just get in early if you decide to be spontaneous. This is one of the cleanest nail salons I have ever been to. The staff is constantly cleaning and sanitizing. Also, I don't know who expects nail polish to "last for months" and to clean tubs right in front of you to prove that you didn't get fungus from them... But I can say I have never had hygiene concerns by going here and if you know you have nail fungus or peeling feet in the first place, please don't subject someone else to touching your feet until they are treated. They sell medicated treatment for nails and feet if you need it. The staff is really friendly and helpful, but they also allow me to zone out and stare with dead eyes into a magazine or my phone if I'm in the mood for ME time. No overly chatty techs here! Went in to make an appt for my daughter & I to get our nails filled. The girl told me that all we needed was a back fill after looking at my nails. I explained that we needed a regular fill, but no color change. She made the appt & I confirmed the time & that it was for the 2 of us. When we showed up for our appt on time, I said we had an appt & signed in as instructed. After waiting for a half hour, I went and asked how much longer it would be. I was told they were behind b/c one girl came in late to her appt. That didn't explain why both of us were still waiting. 15 more minutes passed before they came to get my daughter. They never came for me. While she was getting her fill done, I went over & the girl chastised me for making the wrong kind of appt - it wasn't a back fill after all, which was what I tried to tell them when I made the appt. At that time I also mentioned that it was supposed to be for both of us, but since it was so late I would just get mine done another time. No apologies, no attempts to fit me in, nothing. When I went to pay, I was told that my daughter couldn't get the special HS student price b/c she didn't have the right kind of fill done (the special is for the back fill, apparently). I gave 2 stars b/c I had been pleased with my pedicure there previously, but that was during the week, during the day. Apparently the only way to get good customer service is to go at 1:00 on a Wed afternoon. The place looks clean, but the staff is extremely uncoordinated and impolite. They question each other's abilities, they don't even seem to understand each other. We have questions, as we should as the consumer but they became very irritated and impudent. It took 3 ladies, to finally understand what she wanted for her nails. Once the second person getting her nails done got here they told her they couldn't do her nails anymore. The prices are pretty average for nail salons and the quality of service was sub-par, but when there aren't a lot of other options, what can you do? So so disappointed and flat out MAD! This place sucks! The owner argued with me about my phone in appointment time. Then when I showed her what I wanted she argued with me that it was color changing polish (I've done nails for 18+ years) and know that it's colored acrylic. Next I was pulled back 1/2 an hour past my appointment time. Again the arguing continued... then it stopped nothing, no communication what so ever.
