I love this nail salon. I only go to Emily for my acrylic sets, she is the owner and does amazing work. I usually call a few hours before to set up an appointment with her because I don't want anyone else doing my nails. The older lady(I forgot her name) does really good pedicures. The reason I Give 4 stars is because the male nail technician was doing my grandmothers nails and was using the drill over a bowl of water and that is an OSHA violation. That could've gone very wrong. Other then that, this place is great. read more

I was going to the shop in the Safeway shopping center but they don't do their own nail art... they use stickers! I've never known a shop that doesn't do nail art, even the simplest. Little annoyed with this place. Usually they do a good job but this time I sat there for3hours!! bc the guy could not figure out how to do my dip powder! He re did the dip powder at least three different times not once asked someone to help him. Then filed the side of my nails so roughly that it cut my skin. So now I am enduring pain on my pointer finger and pinky. So after three tries of dip powder he decided to do acrylic which mind you, I didn't go in there for acrylic. I have one nail dip powder and the rest acrylic which one just actually broke the corner off of. And I just got these done on Friday. It's Sunday! And on top of all that they still charged me full price. So I'll probably say something next time I go in there. Bc this is ridiculous. read more

I went in for a shellac over my natural nails. I had already filed and shaped them the way I wanted and I asked specifically to only have the smoothed and polished. No length off. The guy that worked on my nails kept filing and filing even though I kept asking him to stop and leave the length. Finally we got to the polish which took forever, and my nails were filed down to the fingertip. No length left and they were uneven. When all was done, it took an hour and a half for a shellac manicure. Even when he said I was done, my nails were tacky / sticky and the gel was soft. He said it would get better....what????? 2 days later 3 of my nails broke and the gel was still not set correctly. I did go back and request a refund and redo, but was only allowed a redo. All is okay now, but I won't go back. Wish I could find a reliable nail salon in McMinnville. read more

The customer service was good but the quality of the nails were not. I've been twice and the first time I went, they messed my nails up. I thought it had to do with them being extremely busy. And I had recently went last week for a friend's birthday and not only did they mess my nails up but the man who did my friends nails, repeatedly glued his fingers to hers. When I removed the nails, my natural nail was do damaged and thin. I asked them to trim my nails before but they refused and my nails were very long and thin. I do not recommend. It's going to take a long time for my nails to go back to the way they were. The only thing they are good at is pedicures. But their service is extremely slow. The rest of the salon is over priced, chairs are bad and they charge more than necessary. Got a pedicure. It is ok. If you dont pay for the deluxe pedicure, it is very quick. Needed a backfill and of course I got the slowest person in the place. They are the worst set of nails I have ever had. Thick, crooked, horrible. Lesson learned. Been here over an hour and it looks like another 45 minutes for sure. NEVER WILL GO BACK!! read more

This place is not good. I asked for straight tips and the guy applied curved tips but insisted those were straight. Then he made one of my nails the wrong shape after I told him he got mad and said the other lady would fix it and walked away. Oh and he almost cut my finger with the scissors when he was cutting the tip. Then the lady filled the side of 2 of my nails so much it started burning, now they still hurt. The first time, I made an appointment and waited 15 minutes after my time, they were busy... ok. Second time, my daughter and I got right in. I made an appointment for a pedicure. When I got there I had to wait 40 mins before someone could get to me. When they finally did get to me the pedicure itself was pretty good. However, the place was not very clean and they do not prioritize appointments over walk-ins. I got the deluxe pedicure and payed $42 for it and it was definitely not worth $42. read more

Went in with my moms and pre-teen daughter. I asked for a basic mani and pedi for my daughter and a basic pedi for me. They kept trying to get us to do a deluxe or add a flower, multiple times I said no just basic. Advertised is $20. Pedi and $12. Mani. I expected to pay $52. For us or a little more, when finished he said the mani was $30. And charged me $70. In total. Along with school clothes shopping, supplies, haircut, and food for lunches I kind of freaked and worried about the total and what my husband would think, I wasn't able to leave the tip I planned on, and left less than I would have wanted to but the bill was way more than I planned. I know I had one technician, who made me bleed and my toe still hurts, and my daughter had another, but I did what I could without overdrawing my account. The employees then criticized me vocally in front of the whole store loud enough for every customer to hear. I was very embarrassed and upset, I could not believe they would announce their disapproval of my tip to everyone in the store. I have worked in customer service my whole life, and I have never done anything like this. This "lousy" tip will be the last one they will ever get from me. I tried this place for the first time with my mother and 14 year old niece. I called ahead to see if they were busy and they said no, when would we like to come. I told them and we arrived on time. My mom asked for a regular manicure and they started her right away. My niece and I were seated with our feet in the water. We waited awhile as the water cooled and I could tell the other clients' services were not nearly done. My mom was nearly done and so I said I thought we would come back another time, that we couldn't wait this long. Suddenly one guy interrupted service with his client (I never asked for this; I just wanted to go) and started my niece's pedicure. He was going lightening fast and cut her toe! The entire service was so abbreviated it was ridiculous. A few minutes later someone else left their client to do my pedicure. The massage was about one minute long but at least the polish seems to be okay. We were charged full price which doesn't seem fair at all. The cleanliness isn't great--the bases of the chair are coated with dust and should be wiped down at the end of the day. The windows were smeared and dirty. A quick wipe down of everything would go a long way to mask the place more appealing. I don't feel inclined to return. read more

Last week I took my husband in for A Simple pedicure/manicure I walked in with him. I said to the lady 1st thing I want him to have what was posted on there window and nothing more. We have been to this salon off and over the years. So we are not new customers, my husband gets the same thing all year around. He is not well and I had given him $40 for pedicure and manicure and that would have left a $8 tip. So he called me when he was done. He came out of the salon and said ( I Need more $) and I said What. I walked in and was Very Mad) he doesn't ever get the ( the deluxe anything) and they told me that they asked him and he has no idea what a deluxe is. I also than said it's Posted on your Big glass window. My husband is battling with Alzheimer's and gets confused easy. I would understand if we were New customers But we are not. They still wanted me to pay which I did be careful with them at this salon. U could have this happen to u so I am telling everyone what happened the took advantage of my husband.
