I love garden pediatrics! They have a wonderful staff. The receptionist are so sweet, punctual and helpful. The pediatricians remind me of Disney princesses. They are all very pretty and so loving to my kids. The rooms are all different themes and makes waiting much more enjoyable. They have their own insurance plan that's very reasonable. I can't say enough about this place! I've been bringing my daughter here since she was born (she is now 5) and would never consider taking her elsewhere. All of the doctor's/nurses are so sweet and knowledgeable. They always answer all of my questions and never make me feel rushed. They have two waiting rooms, one for sick and one for well which is awesome!!....all of the rooms are decorated with animals and cute themes which my daughter loves. I have been visiting Garden Pediatrics since my daughter was 9 months old. She will be six years old in a few months. Dr Carter see's both my daughter and son...but whenever she is not available the other DRs and NP are available to help. Having children who don't live in a bubble causes constant exposure to germs. Some of these germs tend to stick around longer than I had hoped and whenever I need a same day Sick appointment the staff is very good about making it happen. The patient rooms are beautifully painted with themes to delight my kids and the wait times are usually no longer than 20-30 minutes. I want to say thank you to Dr. Carter she is such an amazing doctor. She truly takes the time to get to know her patients. I could not give her enough praise and gratitude She is simply amazing. I thought my daughter had a sprained wrist and Dr. Carter found that it was broken. I went to get x -rays and she was right it was very broken. The hospital did not do anything for her, I was devastated. I went back to Dr. Carter she calmed me down and wrapped her wrist and put it in a sling till the referral went through for a cast. I am writing this review for my daughter, she is 10 years old she has been coming to Garden Pediatrics for 2 years now. Iv never heard her ask so much when can she go see her doctors. I can tell you all of the great things about this awesome pediatrics office the well and sick entrance the caring feeling you get from the staff when you come through the door, and the above and beyond actions you will receive. My daughters teacher last year made my daughter feel very bad about herself because she is ADHD and hen I took her to see Dr. McClure, she made her feel like this is not a problem in fact the words spoken by Dr. McClure helped turn her thinking around she no longer thinks there is something wrong with her. Dr. McClure made such an impact on her young life. She is doing amazing in school and she is so artsy/crafty and is so engaged in learning now. My daughter has been seen by all of the wonderful doctors and the nurse practitioner. They all take the time out to really listen to your concerns and any questions you have, plus they really talk to your child. I did not know my daughter had a knee issue but she saw Dr. Tschen for a well child visit and she asked her if she had any concerns and she mentioned about some knee pain and turns out she did have an issue and needed to do some special streching to loosen up her knee. Dr. Tschen took the time to hear her out and then printed out the information and what type of stretches would be best. Elise the nurse practitioner was able to see my step son on a same day appointment when he had a head injury at school. She was so amazing to him. She ask him lots of questions making sure there was no concussion. She took a good bit of time making sure my step sons mom my husband and myself all knew what we needed to look for and what he should and should not do for the next 24 hours and stressed the fact to he needs to be careful for the next 2 weeks as to not injure is head again. Today I tried to call for over 3 hours and finally gave up and left a message, they returned my call two and a half hours later. The care being given here AMAZING! Dr. Carter and Courtney are absolutely the best and I trust them so much! The reason why I'm updating for one star is because they are constantly switching front office staff and no one knows anything. Months ago I had a balance on my sons account because my insurance wouldn't pay toward it. After calling my insurance I found out the reason why they were rejecting it was because the new outside billing company was billing under Dr. Carter and they needed to bill under Garden Pediatrics. I must have told different people this, since they are constantly switching people or roles of people, a hundred times. It finally got taken care of and I had a zero dollar balance since my insurance paid the claims (claims were for well visits mostly and maybe one office visit) which were all supposed to be covered. I call today to make an appointment and was told I have a 1600 balance because my insurance did not pay anything. I have a statement from this office showing a zero dollar balance, he had not been in since to be able to have a balance. I asked to speak to a manager and of course I wasn't able to. I drive an hour to this office because the care given is that amazing but no more. I'm going to be calling my insurance to put a complaint against this office, be careful and always pay attention to your statements here. Too bad because the providers are awesome! read more

This was our very first time at Garden Pediatrics and we loved it. As soon as we walked in we received a good vibe, my daughter immediately started playing and I began to check in. We love Garden Pediatrics and even though we live 45 minutes away and have closer options, we wouldn't consider anyone else because of the amazing care our children get here. Leah Botimer has been seeing our kids for the past 3 years and is the absolute sweetest person you will ever meet and makes our kids feel so special every time! The office staff returns calls promptly and they are very professional regarding all matters. The doctors are caring and sensitive towards all of our concerns. Everyone we've seen has been thorough in examining our children and addressing any issues. 5 stars for sure!!!! read more

Update: I still think the staff is very caring, attentive and truly care. However; my issue with them is over their late policy. I get that people take advantage missing appointments etc. but I drove over 45 minutes and 50 miles to get to mine. Due to road construction I was 10 minutes late for a shot appointment my son needed to start school. They turned me away, and I had to reschedule. It was a little unfair as the circumstances were out of my hands. I would have paid a fee or anything else to be able to get that done. Luckily my son was still able to start school, but having to drive back and forth was a huge burden. read more

I have to give another review because i am just in awe that I have found a pediatric office that takes such amazing care of my son. My sons 21 months now and has been going there for almost a year (in January). He has had a few issues with ears, a lump on his chest and being extremely sick a few times to the point I broke down in the room with the dr hysterically crying begging for help. They knew exactly how calm me down which shouldn't be their job, and they knew exactly what to do to give me comfort to take my son home while he was so sick instead of just sending us to the hospital. They saw him every single day until he was cleared by them and until I was comfortable with him being okay. They answered every call, every worry I have ever had. They get us in mostly same day if I need it. They remember us (probably because we come so often lol) but remember little things that I've told them. They've even called me to check in on both of us and I'm not even their patient! Lol The amount of love for their patients and their family is amazing. I won't trust anyone else with my sons health. They also make sure every plan they come up with I am comfortable with and if I don't like it they switch it to accommodate what is going to work best for my family. Thank you to the whole front office staff, the nurses, Courtney, Kimberly, leah(when she was with them). And anyone I might have missed. This place is a joke! Don't waste your time on the extremely poor customer service they provide. Over the past two years we have liked the doctors we have seen. Unfortunately, the turn around rate is very high. We have already had three different doctors because the first two have left to pursue other opportunities. Over the past year my daughter has been very sick on two separate occasions, months apart. Each time I've called to try and get an appointment the answering service picks up. After leaving a message, then calling again approximately an hour later, to again getting the answering service and leaving another message. Finally receiving a call back around 3 hours after my initial call. This happened on both occasions. This is unacceptable for a doctors office! When I called and complained I felt that my complaint was heard and taken seriously but was also told that the reason behind it was that they were short staffed. Again, unacceptable when my child is ill or hurt and I depend on you to be there to help me make an informed professional decision on what I should do with my child. There is NO excuse for a doctors office to not answer the phones or a least call back within a very reasonable amount of time (10-30 minutes). Apparently, you're better off going straight to Urgent care and paying the higher cost because they don't answer the phones therefore they don't provide same day appointments. And don't even think about running a few minutes behind. They WILL NOT see you. You will be turned away, it doesn't matter the reason. You won't even receive one freebie because as you know you signed a form stating their new policy. Parents, this is a pediatric clinic where we are bringing our children. Yes, being on time is important but we all know that when we have children we tend to run late from time to time. This is life. Well, this was the last straw. I requested my children's medical records and informed them that I would be finding a new clinic for my children and not one of the staff members (did I mention there were around 7) chatting behind the counter questioned it, cared, or asked if I would like to speak with a doctor or any other person in charge regarding my concerns. And while I patiently waited for approximately 15 minutes for my children's records not one patient came out from the back rooms and there were no patients in either of the waiting rooms. One patient did finally come in as we were leaving. Oh, and one other thing. They also billed me incorrectly. I understand that mistakes happen, but they will fight you tooth and nail, and don't expect an apology. Yes, this clinic is cute and they have fantastic wall murals that kids and parents alike will fall in love with. Don't fall for it. Doctors and staff that care about their patients is far more important than what's painted on a wall. Remember, you're hiring and paying a doctor. They are NOT hiring you. Update: received a $100 bill in the mail today for "NO SHOW" (see uploaded pic). I was actually 15 minutes late and they refused to see me. Garden Pediatrics is complete disgrace to the medical profession. My advise to them would be to use their staff they have to answer their phones when patients need them instead of collection efforts on services they didn't provide. Like I said they care very little about their patients. Mr. Walls made sure he responded on social networks to all my reviews (with incorrect information may I add), but again never took the time to contact me personally to discuss the many issues. read more

I must start by saying I have been going to Garden Pediatrics since my daughter was 1 years old, she is now 9. My earlier experiences with this Pediatricians office was nothing but exceptional and although some of the doctors have changed I am still very pleased with them. When my daughter was born she had some issues with her tummy, and when Kaiser said nothing could be done until the age of 2, Garden Pediatrics, said the test could be ran and should be ran immediately. I can remember countless times that I would be able to call at any hour and the doctors ( yes I said actual DOCTOR) would return my call. This office is a loving and beyond caring office. The time they spend on your child is well worth the extra time in the wait room. (which honestly is not long) Another awesome addition to the love they have two entrances one for the sick ones and the other for the well children. I could not be happier, because we all have been at some point in a waiting room with kids who are not feeling well and worry if our children or are we going to get sick too. Although, we are taught sharing is caring, we do not like shared germs. : ) They also have late appointments. I believe that they are on Wednesdays where they are there to see your little ones after 5 p.m. I could be wrong nowadays on the day of the week, but they are available for you at any time. I personally have not had a bad experience with any of the staff members, but I must say I love Leah! She makes my daughter feel like she is her only patient. She knows her past history, without reading from a chart. I do not feel like they are just reviewing a few notes and then entering the exam room. She can actually recall past appointments and ask about my daughters well being. If you are looking for a new pediatrician, I would personally recommend Garden Pediatrics, I am almost certain you will be amazed!!! read more

I am completely frustrated with Garden. On more than one occurrence I have come from Apple Valley to Redlands to only be told that whatever shot my child was in need of was out of stock or back ordered. I have currently been working with this place since December 15 and it is now January 22nd to get my premature daughter a shot. They claimed it took them two weeks to obtain her discharge paperwork even though I walked in with their very own copy at her very first appointment. Once the received that my insurance denied it and it took them another week to submit the correct paperwork and now I just called my insurance once again it was denied due to no codes being added to the request! I am completely frustrated and will now be taking my children to a new pediatrician. Dr Leah is outstanding with children and the place is always clean and the rooms are extremely cool and it makes me sad to be doing this. But after trying to express my concerns to the office manager and almost immediately being cut off I have had enough. My children's health is more important to me than some cool rooms and the lack of urgency is completely disheartening. read more

I cannot get over how amazing this office is. EVERY SINGLE PERSON I have ever came into contact with here has been exceptional. Their kindness, patience and care has always been so incredible. Any time my son, Dominik, has been sick they always get him in right away. His wellness exams always run smoothly and never once do I feel rushed. They are patient with me when it comes to any concerns I may have and they always seem like they are in a good mood. I assure you, if you are considering them as your child's PCP, you will be completely satisfied. We started out with Dr. Swant and she was AMAZING! She did end up leaving the practice and even sent out a sweet email to inform us. The front desk asked if we had a specific doctor we would like for our son to see next and I thought it was awesome they even gave us the choice. So we went with Dr. Carter, now of course she is just wonderful. My son has some developmental delays and instead of waiting until his next check up to see him, she asked that I bring him back in a month. It bit of weight was lifted off my shoulders because I knew she truly cares about my concerns and about my son. We also met with the NP Leah Botimer when my son was sick. Her smile, her care, her kindness was everything I hoped it would be. The front desk staff are even super sweet. Every time they answer the phone, you feel like they are smiling the entire time we are speaking. You may not be able to see the smile but you sure can "hear" it. They've always been so accommodating with us. I just cant thank you guys enough. I honestly hope this office always stays the same because it is just perfect. read more

My son is now 4 months old and has never had his vaccines because they told me at his 2 month appointment that they were out and for me to check back. Well I have checked every two weeks and they still don't have them. Every time I call they tell me "oh it should be here next week, call back". I'm on a call list now but I will not be going back to this practice. It's a nice facility and the doctor is sweet but I need to make sure my son is healthy. I will find another practice who has the vaccines in stock and does not tell their patients to call back frequently. read more
