Garden Pediatrics doctors and staff have been nothing but a blessing to my child's health! Dr. Carter is very attentive and engaging. I appreciate her expertise as a professional and as a mother who understands much. We had a horrible experience at my son's previous doctor in another nearby city, so when I found Garden Pediatrics, I was hoping for the best and was not disappointed. They're waiting area is kid friendly with something for the kids on their tv always, and lots of pamphlets and information and more that they offer that us parents can truly appreciate and benefit from. they Sent me a bill in the mail for $100 for a missed appointment when I clearly called to cancel the appointment because I was running late I even have phone records to prove that I called before my appointment time to cancel, this is not fair and i hope something gets done to fix this. read more

Discovered this facility while shopping around for my first child, we did a tour of the facility and that's all it took for us to fall in love with this place. About 9 months after the birth of our first child we switched to an HMO plan, which this facility does not take, unfortunately. We switched back to a PPO plan just so we could start taking our children here again, because the other facilities we used were nowhere near as good as this place. Never had any wait time issues at all so I can't speak to that, but we did have to come back to get a vaccine they ran out of. Which, in the grand scheme of things, was not so bad considering we were able to take care of it during our other child's appointment. Staff is accommodating and friendly, the waiting room is very kid friendly unlike many other places we have visited. read more

Love this place!! The wait time is very appropriate, the staff is super friendly, and the decor is adorable. Our pediatrician is involved with my 11 year old daughter's extra medical needs, and has extensive knowledge on her diagnosis, which was definitely not the case with our previous pediatrician at a different facility. This is the most well taken care of we have ever felt at our children's doctor. My kids are actually excited to come here because they love the doctor and can't wait to find out what themed room they will be in next! And my kids SO appreciate the extra option for shot numbing cream! We will be sad if we move again and have to find another pediatrician. I'm convinced there's not a better place! read more

I would like to give 0 starts , I took my 5 year old baby with a visual bump by her ovaries ,and the doctor say ,oh it's ok is just a pimple don't worry , but to me don't look like and I ask to make blood test or ultrasound but she keep SAYING is just a pimple and add the exam are to Expensive ,(like she is going to paid,I have insurance from my job that I can choose my doctor and the lab no co-pay )so she give me a tube with a q-tip and say just wait when exploit you get a sample and we will send it to the lab ,,,, well time pass like a month and the bump is there , like mom fillings thinking this not right so I took my baby with a GOOD doctors (very professional) and my surprise as soonest my daughter put her underwear down, Dr. say she got a hernia by her ovary WOW ,next week I was in children's hospital ,she had a surgery!!!!! Very family orriantated. The office is decorated for children. They offer more then just doctors. They do spa care for babies. Manicures Pedicures massages ect. Pierce the ears. Every single staff member in this office is amazing and kind. My children who are normally timid and shy always feel super comfortable and happy when interacting with the doctors, nurses and front office. This is most important to me. I love the fact that they have 2 separate entrances for sick and healthy children so that they do not have to be near each other. The office is always so clean and we have never had a wait time issue. We can schedule appointments quickly and get in and out! Love this place. I use too love this office I recommend it to all my friends and coworkers. Something's change recently and the quality of care is not there. I also don't like how the doctors are constantly coming and going. My son had a bad reaction to his shots and the dr didn't document it and instead said it was pneumonia and prescribed antibiotics. Never again will i go back and a few of my coworkers have also found new doctors. read more

My son used to go to a medi-cal dr in banning and the environment was such a downer. Then my friend who also had IEHP started going here And I inquired more about the office. My first time here I feel so in love, the staff is so sweet, the waiting room is child friendly, the rooms are spectacular and the Drs are so caring. I have been bringing my kids to GP for 3 years. I never had a problem with the front staff. Only a couple of times certain staff say they will call back for something and never do. So I would have to call back and usually all of that stuff gets all sorted out. Not a deal breaker. I don't use the on call service as much but when I do either the nurse triage answer my question or one of the on call doctors will call me and ease my worries. We still adore Dr. Carter. We only come 2x a year for well visits and flu shots. Yet, each time Dr. carter sees us she greet my daughter with a hug and a hug for me too. Even when my daughter gets a scratch on herself she'll say I think we need to go see Dr. carter. She always tell me how she LOVES Dr. carter. I love how Dr. Carter sees us more than just patients. She's very bubbly and just so awesome. Now we live even farther and I'm still willing to drive 60 miles away. Yes, I know there are probably great doctors out here too. Yet, we just love Dr. carter from the moment I scheduled an interview appointment to see if she could be my kid's potential doctor. I knew she was genuinely rare and perfect for my kids. I want the best for kids. For that reason we are loyal to Dr. carter. My daughter usually goes there for her well visit. Unlike her brother he was in and out for numerous occasion. To frequent ear infections, catching different viruses, and wheezing. She also recommended us to get ear tubes for my son. It's been almost a year and No ear infections. Before he would have 4 in one year. So now that my son is older and his immune system is stronger. He has not gotten sick often and for that reason we don't need to go to GP as often. We also love Nurse Elise too. She's very caring and spot on with her diagnosis. We haven't met the new doctors that join the team. I'm sure they're great too. I absolutely love GP and recommend them. read more

I used to love this place but now staff is so slow. They reschedule for everything. They don't try at least a little to fit me in since I work so far. The referrals are taking forever to get send. Idk what's going on with the staff. Dr carter is amazing no complains, but they need to pace their self a lil faster and try to accommodate their pts. I'm not really pleased right now. I will probably give them one more chance if not then I'll find a different pediatrician. read more

I have been going to garden pediatrics for 7 months now and always had a very pleasant experience. I have a 7 month old and a 4 year old and we loved Dr. Erika McClure, that's why we were very upset to find out that Dr. McClure left garden pediatrics a couple months back, I was hesitant to get a new doctor because we loved her so much, but I thought I would just stay at garden pediatrics since we were already used to it and have never had a bad experience. Sadly to say the practice has gone down. I guess we all have to be perfect and never be a couple minutes late or we have to reschedule! Having to take young kids to the doctor can be a challenge and they should be more understanding of that!! They made me reschedule twice for being a couple minutes late and when I asked why?, the girls said well it will throw off all the other patients times. Sorry I didn't know that seeing a doctor would be timed to the second? And today I got into my car to find the battery dead and when I called they told me that there is a new policy that when you have a cancellation that is after 24 hrs they will charge you 75 dollars!!! Are you kidding me??!! I have been to a lot of doctors and never ever had to pay a cancellation fee, and I have never heard of a cancellation fee of that much money?! Needless to say I am extremely disappointed by their service. Sharida was rude and not understanding at all. I am sad to say I won't be returning with my boys. I hope we can find a doctor that was as good as Dr McClure was. read more

I used to love Dr.Cater & her staff! But now it is the worst!! They never have appointments available. They all say hi to urgent care?? Really?? Then why are you my kids dr? The billing is usually wrong...I paid my copay & got a receipt, a week later I received a bill for that copay. On my next visit I showed the receipt & the bill, the lady who handles billing rudely explained they applied my copay to something else & she would credit me?? Really?? The wait time in the lobby & then in the room is at least 30 minutes if not longer! The rudeness of some of the staff is just ridiculous! After 6 years we are looking for a new pediatric Dr! We are sad & happy...maybe the next Dr. can see my kids when they are sick read more

I have been taking both of my children here since they were born. The service has always been great once you actually get in to see the provider. I have been forgotten about a few times while already in the room with my daughter (over an hour). It seems that the last few visits I've had seem to be a mission getting seen at an appropriate time. I had to reschedule for being 8 minutes late. They implemented the no late policy, so at my next visit I was there at 2:45 When my appointment was at 3:10. I seriously waited in the waiting room from 3:20 then We waited inside the room from 3:20-345 until I saw the doctor. The doctors are awesome may I add. Finally, my child was seen for approximately ten minutes. We waited to get her vaccinations and were finally done by 4:20. When we left the receptionist's desk was dark and there was nobody present. Why do I keep going back? - Same day appointment for sick children - Sick and Well side - Don't want my child bouncing from Doctor to Doctor -Enjoy the growth charts they provide for your children I'm becoming tired of the long waits to see a doctor, so I have started researching other options for my two girls. It may be that they just have more clients than they can actually handle. read more

We LOVE Garden Peds! I can say so much about the cute exam rooms and waiting rooms my kids always have fun in, but most importantly, we love this practice for their team. We have been seeing the Practitioners at Garden Pediatrics for around 4 years, starting first with Dr. McClure, whom we loved. Once she left the practice we began seeing Dr. Carter and I was beyond satisfied with her care. After they expanded and moved locations, I did experience some hiccups with the front office, but that is to be expected with a growing business. I also found it difficult to secure an appointment with Dr. Carter because she was in such high demand, so we started seeing the other Practitioners, and they are ALL fabulous! I currently schedule all of our appointments with the NP Leah who is one of our favorites and my daughters adore her. The administrative staff is great as well and always helpful. Brett, the COO, has even scheduled emergency-same-day appointments for us and always responds promptly to my desperate emails when my kids have been super ill. So thank you Garden Pediatrics for being a place I can rely on for taking care of my growing children! read more

I disliked the fact that the nurse made me remove my son's diaper and carry him all the way through the hallway without his clothes on in order to be weighed. Not to mention that he was crying for being cold. All the other doctors I have been to weigh him with his diaper on. This was unnecessary and just because he is a baby doesn't mean we should ignore his privacy. Also, my son had latching issues and wasn't eating much. Right before the appointment, he started eating a little and therefore I was 12 minutes late to the appointment. The front desk lady was rude and said I have missed my appointment and my only option was to reschedule. Since then, they have been sending me a bill for $100 for supposedly "missing" the appointment. Some doctors are strict regarding appointment times for their own reasons which may be understandable but to charge someone $100 in such circumstances is just ridiculous. Also, there is nothing special about the expertise of the pediatricians working here. I think their practice has become popular due to their marketing approaches. With nail cutting services for infants, etc. it feels much more like a business than a medical office. Fortunately, I have been able to find a much more knowledgeable pediatrician in the area. Also, I bought a baby Tylenol from the practice because at the time it would've been hard for me to go to a pharmacy with my infant after his appointment. The medication expired shortly after I bought it which just meant that it was relatively old and I had paid twice the regular price for nothing! read more

although the office is cute, we never actually got to see the dr. only the PA. They have the worst billing dept. ever!!! Not flexible and unwilling to talk to us when i needed help with understanding the billing. Then when my bill was paid off they kept sending us bills. Many other bad experience with this department. My experience was a nightmare. I changed dr immediately. read more
