OMG I have been coming to this Dentist office for years and today was one of the best experiences yet. I had to get four fillings. Mind you I'm not of fan of the needles, but I was prepared for it. So Dr. Ann says he doesn't think I need to be numbed and of course I'm skeptical, but he reassured me, he's good at what he does, but still gave me the option should I change my mind. I say ok let's do it without numbing me. When I tell you this man is good at what he does, he is good! His assistant Zane was awesome as well and very tentative to me while I was laying in the chair. Let's start with the Positives, the only great thing going for this office is Deva at the front. Great enthusiasm, authenticity, emotional intelligence, and empathy who listened to my concerns and was able to get me in the same day for a consult. The good stuff stops there. Negatives: As I'm waiting to see the doctor, I hear another younger male dentist or assistant say ' I'm gonna stab him in the neck ' as he proceeds to vent about someone taking out their anger on him. Other female colleagues laugh alongside him. Stabbing someone in the neck is no laughing matter. That's pretty vicious and violent and goes against their moral code. Could you trust that this person wouldn't actually enact on it? Definitely not. This made me uncomfortable from the start... As the doctor walks in to see me, I greet him and begin to share the 2 conflicting consultations from 2 previous dentists and as I was sharing my back story and concerns with Dr Igor Roshkovan, he interrupted me with saying "I have no interest in what you're sharing and the other dental experiences you had. What do you want from me today?' He lacked emotional intelligence and didn't care to hear about my complex case. This is vital for him to comprehend so that he understands the information I'm seeking. He has poor listening skills, and I called him out on his rudeness and lack of empathy. He didn't acknowledge it or own up to it or even apologize for it. Rather he began to ask 'so are you going to stay or go?' BIZARRE, ALOOF, IGNORANT, ARROGANT, AND DISTASTEFUL to say the least. I then proceeded to exit and was speaking to Deva giving my feedback. He then continues to come out calling me 'Sweety' in a condescending manner saying if I wanted to speak about him, to say it to him. I already did though in the office and now I'm discussing my experience with the front staff. I told him that my name wasn't 'Sweety' and that he was not welcome to speak with me any further. Told him to Back OFF which he was hesitant to. He is clearly unable to read the room, lacks emotional intelligence and lacks self composure. Screw your degrees and expertise. When you forget how to be a HUMAN BEING, all of that goes out the windows. No one is either below or above you and I'm glad I didn't let him cross that boundary.
