HOLY! I didn't think that my decision to stay at this inn was that bad. I had the worst night ever here. Couldn't even sleep peacefully actually. People were stomping all night long above our room, banging on doors, and had to sleep through people having violent sex/moans in the room next to us. Well, cheers to that happy couple. Also, my room was crawling with roaches. I needed a place to stay while doing business in town, and so from time to time I needed work to do. Cracked open my laptop to do some things and what do you know, a roach was crawling across my laptop. I thought, wow, how did this thing get to my laptop...next thing I realized, the place was actually infested with roaches. Truly upsetting. Take your money and stay somewhere more sanitary and steer clear of this *not-truly-smoke-free inn.

HORRIBLE!! -As soon as we entered there was a stench of smoke. I booked a non-smoking room. -The door hinge was broken, -graffiti on the bed frames, -neither the phone nor the clock were working, -the smoke detector was left open without batteries. Apart of the hotel room being unfit for guests, it was unsafe. I had talked with the gentleman at the lobby, he assured me a full refund. My deposit was returned right away. Went into the room not even 5 minutes and now they refuse to give me a full refund.

guy was rude at the front desk tells me rooms is $190 plus tax but then later matched it to Priceline. eneded up being $175 for room with jacuzzi tub filled it up while taking shower and we came out and it smelled like feces and I'm not sure if this review will let me post pictures but there was like brown shit all over and around the tub idk if it was actually feces but we were so disgusted with it we wanted our money back but instead they gave a new room with a jacuzzi tub that just didn't work all thought that room. Was alit better it felt cleaner but the tub didn't work We ended up jus checking out sfter the tub didn't work that was the whole reason we went.

    Awesome shower!

Hmmm, location was out of the way. But, I enjoyed the Queen room with spa for $140 for one night. My friend said that was too steep and I agreed. So, we wound up staying @ Custom Hotel for $60/night (see separate review). The room was very spacious (see pics). Loved the bathroom/shower and jacuzzi. No sofa. The rooms without a jacuzzi are rinky-dink! Super small!

Mannn I should probably have a hazmat suit on.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I know this place is cheap, but sleeping in my car is even cheaper which I ended up doing after laying on the bed. I ignored all the cosmetic flaws because of the price, but as soon as I touched the bed, I felt itchy all over. I was just laying on top of the comforter, so I thought maybe that was the problem, nope the top of the blanket is even itchy. Not sure if it was bugs or cigarette burn stains. Oh yah, I forgot to mention the room smells like a casino. Back to the bed, I got curious and started unwrapping the bed. I found dark brownish stains. Not sure if its dookie stains or maybe blood stains. I stopped unzipping there. I get there might be mattress stains from multiple uses but I'm sure you could buy new sheets... On to the next... the kitchen. Just kidding there isnt one. Okay the bathroom is cool I guess. Toilet is clean which is cool but im not touching it... not after the bed. The bathroom base boards and the back of the bathroom door were competing on which could be dirtier. The back of the door seemed to have a bloody booger stuck to it or something. Wasnt trying to get too close. Surprised it didnt start moving. As I have been writing this I have been debating showering with my shoes on but doubt thats enough protection.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! There's lots of roaches and bed bugs!! They wouldn't give me a refund either!!

Some weird wire which was led light under the table ?

This place should be shut down immediately !!!!! First off this place is so sketchy there was a homeless person sleeping outside and sitting there all day and night until we had checked out. The parking lot was also pretty empty with only 6 cars also their garage is their junk yard where they have all the old furniture from the rooms and covered in trash. when we were staying the elevator wasnt working (theres a not by elevators stating only one couple per ride) when we first went so we had to use their dirty ass stairs the whole premises was filthy covered in holes tagging and exposed wiring everywhere paper thin walls theres not even a check im lobby just a window the "lobby" filled with junk you can see it in the windows. We stayed on the third floor and this place gives off such a creepy eerie vibe flickering lights and the floors just feel unsteady it felt like we were going to fall through walking on the balcony it was also very empty nobody was staying here and the people we did see around were sketchy looking people if your a pimp with some hoes or just hooking up with a hooker for the night this is the perfect place for you a motel 6 is better than this and way cheaper the website showed us fake pictures and we were fooled theres is absolutely no kind of security here and ridiculously priced and have all these rules for this run down shady piece of shit these rooms are worth $5 at most and when we were checking out in the morning the maids only had an EMPTY SHOPPING CART...

    Hairdryer

I have stayed here a handful of times. Each time it seems that the condition of the room gets worse while the price goes up. After this most recent visit, I will most likely not stay here anymore. The room smelled like pot the entire time I was there. It wasn't the room itself, but it was coming from nearby rooms. Maybe that's a plus for some, but not for me. There was a couple arguing very loud at around 6:00 am. I didn't hear anyone get hit - but I thought it was going there. The bed was hard, the walls were dirty, the hairdryer was broken, the bathroom door looked as if it had been kicked a few times and the smoke detector was missing. Not sure that meets building codes.

The sheets, Furniture, Carpet and bathroom were dirty. Holes in the walls, burns on the carpets, blood on the bedside table. Manager Carl is a lier, we asked for another room there were none, told we could talk to the manager for a refund as we had to find another hotel. Carl has been ignoring calls but finally answered and said it was a fraudulent claim?! Do yourself a favor, find any other hotel in the area, not worth the money.

Closed to the public now, privately owned, highly recommend this location though. There's vending machines and can have food delivered.

They had salmon or Saba make sure to come early. There was a long line even before they opened and they ran out of salmon, even though we were at the front of the line. It was nice that they also had unlimited miso soup and rice available and the portion of food provided was a good amount. Outside seating was available, which made it good so that we could make sure to stay safe from sicknesses Was happy to have free garage parking and the complementary tea was nice to have in the lobby. Of particular note was that there are a lot of younger guys staying at this particular hotel that appeared to have parties (drinking?) happening in the rooms nearby and would linger around outside of the lobby hanging out. They didn't bother us and were not super loud but they did end up showing up in the hallways and such here and there.

They tried to accommodate us as quick as they could so we got to check in a little early at 12pm. Very grateful for that!! The standard twin room was a great size for 3 people. The bathroom was huge! And the best part was they had a japanese toilet! Who doens't love a bidet toilet!? Breakfast is complimentary and served from 630-9 am. You can choose between a western or Japanese style breakfast. The staff here are so sweet too and breakfast was fast and yummy! There are a lot of walkable places to eat around the hotel too if you don't feel like venturing out too far. Would def stay here again!

The 3.7 rating or whatever ratings has by the time you view it are lying to you. You'd be better off staying somewhere else. Normally Hilton has some pretty decent places, but I'm ashamed to say this place generally felt very... meh. I'm not making this one star because the receptionist was nice about my reservation, even after having a bit of a hard time finding our reservation (someone else's reservation showed up for us somehow) and found an accessible room for my family and I (elderly individuals in my family). Very old and outdated, no valet or bellman as mentioned above. Very deceiving looks. I would say goodnight (as of the time of writing this), but I doubt I'll be getting any sleep after the "pillow hair incident" of haunting my dreams.

Otherwise, there are better options all over the Southland including other Hampton Inns. My review is coming from the perspective of a Hilton Honors Lifetime Diamond member. I stay in plenty of Hampton Inns around the US and even some around the globe. I recognize that it is in the budget arm of the Hilton brand portfolio and when I stay at a Hampton Inn, I am not expecting high-end, luxury amenities, personal services, or public spaces with artwork. I am looking for a reasonable price for the area market, a safe and clean stay, and casual but professional staff interactions. The 2 features I like about this hotel are the free self-parking and the overall cost for the local market. Almost all other hotels in and around this area (within 10 miles of LAX) charge some parking fee which this property does not. Also, the room price was not dirt cheap but was among the lowest of the other area hotels of similar comfort levels. While it is hard to not like that, I came away from my first stay here with an understanding that you get what you pay for. It is in an odd location, just off of the freeway and jammed into some open ground abutting 60 mph traffic. Just be aware that it is not really sound-proofed so freeway noise is going to be present. Also, the desk staff seems to have been called up from the bush-league. Like most hotels, guaranteed check in is at 3p. I happened to arrive early at 1:30p to an empty parking lot and a quiet lobby and thought the likelihood of me getting into a room early might be high. The desk agent did not look up at me standing at his desk until I intentionally made some noise and then instead of greeting me like a guest, he asked what I wanted as if I was interrupting him. I told him my name on the reservation and asked if I might check in early. He told me no immediately without even checking if there were rooms available. I have done this enough to know that it is sometimes helpful for the front desk to check to see if there were rooms available early and so I asked if he would check and he told me he knew that there were none. When I asked if he knew if any would be available early, he told there would not be any available until 3p and that they would text me if something opened up. I left a little annoyed because I felt like I had been blown off and I started driving away to look for somewhere to grab a late lunch. I received a text 8 min later that a room was now ready. When I got back to the hotel to ask about it, he acted like he had no idea who I was as he was checking me in. I thought it was odd when I had to ask if I could have a bottle of water which is a benefit I get for being a Diamond member. He gave me one but would not have had I not asked and I never received any acknowledgement of loyalty. I never really expect that anyway but I find it nice when a hotel staff will welcome me as a guest based on that. It just shows that they spent some time paying attention to caring about their customer base. The hotel was clean but clearly old and in need of a refresh. There is a lot of chipped paint in the public spaces. In the end, I got a bed, a parking space, did not get robbed, and did not see bed bugs. But I also got zero in terms of polite and professional service, no loyalty recognition, and no warm and fuzzy endearment to want to stay here again.

The prices are by the day so rates vary, but this is a last-minute spot for people on a dime. It's 1000% better than my stay in Inglewood for almost the same price, and a million times better than my random website bookings otherwise. People just want a 5-star hotel on a fast-food budget it seems, but this served every purpose I needed. And obviously no insane charge for mandatory valet on-site parking, which some high-end hotels use to charge more per room. The room itself is great. The location is not a fancy neighborhood obviously, but I've seen the Four Star Sheraton by the airport has some horrible reviews. This motel itself is awesome after having to compromise so much with my dogs with me. There's AC, plenty of parking, it's close to the 405 (main north-south) freeway, there's a mini fridge, a shower, good wi-fi, and a nice bed to sleep in. And it is as safe as it can be in California as it's video monitored. It was clean as well. I happened to lose my phone during this whole scenario and front desk was kind enough to try to help me find it. I'm sure they get plenty of customers similar to those reviewing who are overly demanding yet cheap. Cheap meaning, won't pay but demand beyond what they can afford anyway. Not on a budget.
