My wife had the street tacos and her food was also delicious. Everything tasted clean and fresh. We did have a bit of a wait. More than usual for some Mexican restaurants. However, many restaurants have food partially prepared and then warm it when ordered. It's fast but not fresh. Not the case here. I have no trouble waiting for good, fresh, and clean food! This was some of the best Mexican food we've had in years. The waiter was very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend Manrique's for dinner.

The whipped cream and chocolate sauce was in a little plastic ramican the size of a papa John sauce so again one bite and you have used it up and the flan to whipped cream " ratio" is not there. I got the shredded chicken and steak tacos and a side of chorizo refried beans. The ingredients were fresh, the salsas had the perfect amount of spice. The staff were so sweet and let us take our time ordering. The steak was well seasoned and had a great char on it but was not the diced carne asada I was expecting. The restaurant was clean and I like that during cooler days like yesterday they open the restaurant to the outside so there's a nice breeze and vibe.
