I love the way my horse responds when she sees Dr Garfinkle. She trusts Christi and it shows in her expression.

She spent hours vetting my horse and then talked me through the process with patience, care, and objectivity.

I'm glad I found them! They got Chloe in right away, cleaned up her ears and inserted meds. She did have to go back for a follow up, because the first round of meds didn't quite clear up the infection. The staff is very kind and knowleadable and I'm happy to have a back up vet for my babies.

We are not new patients so they are fully aware. His personal collar even has a medical alert. They took him back to take his bloodwork, anal glands expressed etc. I was told about 20 minutes. Instead of bringing him back to me in the lobby, they locked him in a kennel away from all other dogs without a seizure collar (bells to alert if he has a seizure). Again put him away from other dogs which means nobody had eyes on him. When he was finally brought out to the lobby 40 minutes later (double the quoted time) he was catatonic. Covered in his own pee and face dripping wet from drool. He 100% had a seizure under their care and nobody noticed. They also returned him without his personal collar so also possible they confused him for another dog and gave him something they shouldn't have. I insisted Dr. Nixon come speak with me. She agreed after seeing him again she believed he had a seizure and apologized for whatever reason nobody saw it. I was told a manager would reach out to me. I even emailed requesting they call me. Result is nobody bothered contacting me and my dog could have died under their care during a routine visit. Needless to say I will never trust them again with my baby. Careless and no follow through.

I thought I'd try this place out and see what their prices and service were like. I have a vet for my other two senior cats, but I`m willing to shop around. I showed up on time and checked in. The front desk person seemed disorganized and not friendly. It felt a bit chaotic in there and it wasn't even busy. How is that possible? I gave them my coupon and waited to be seen. Waited, waited, waited. That wasn't a big deal. I have patience and I understand stuff happens. Finally I`m called back and the vet assistant is also not really friendly but I stick with the appointment. She weighs the kittens and looks over them. She tries to sell me on their pet wellness plan for kittens, which is actually quite expensive compared to the insurance I got. I didn`t want a sales pitch right away. Then she said the doctor would be in. More waiting. More waiting. At this point, I thought about leaving because we were in there a LONG time. The doctor comes in and doesn't introduce himself, looks disheveled and a wreck. I am now committed to this appointment, so I let him look over the kittens. The first thing he says is, "yep those are kittens". Then he mumbles that he forgot something and leaves for like 5 minutes. I`m pretty much done at this point. He comes in and gives a quick exam, not really doing anything at all. He says they look good and that I should get some testing(not even sure what he said honestly) and that I could get that cheaper elsewhere. Then he leaves and the vet assistant comes back in, asking if I want to schedule their follow-up. No. No, I do not. I said I need to check my schedule and I`ll let them know. We go back to the waiting room and wait...and wait some more. Painful at this point. They give me that copy of wellness exam proof, but didn`t have any other notes(because the doctor DID NOT DO ANYTHING). They give me little baggies with some cat food and a key chain with their name on it. Then the vet assistant tries to sell me on their wellness package again and seems annoyed when I said no. If this visit is indicative of what it is normally like here...hard pass. I`ll go to my other vet and get my kittens established there. Oh, to top it off, they gave me a receipt that has their wellness fee($99) zeroed out, like they gave me $100 worth of service for free. I wouldn't have paid $10 for that "service". Eeeesh.

I booked an appointment through the app to meet with Dr. Robin Roque as usual. I was able to check in with the receptionist and helped myself to some of their complementary coffee while waiting for the nurse and physician. Both the nurse and Dr. Roque were very kind to Sesame and I. They answered my questions about his health and walked me through what symptoms to keep an eye out for. They were patient and thorough and didn't rush us at all. Overall satisfied with the experience. the appointment lasted maybe 30 minutes from intake to check-out.

We appreciated his honesty very much. He highly recommended Dr Nancy Hampel at All God's Creatures Teaching Hospital. Within a couple of days, we were seen by Dr Richard Johnson, who gave Kathleen a thorough examination and patiently answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. The following day, he assisted Dr. Hampel in the surgery. Everything went very well. Three weeks later, while Kathleen was still in recovery mode, a totally unrelated problem arose that also required surgery. To say we were scared would be a huge understatement. Once again, Dr. Hampel worked her magic with the help of Dr. Johnson and the most caring Vet Techs you could ask for, and all went very well. Kathleen has now recovered from both surgeries and is enjoying a second "puppyhood". We are so thankful for the excellent treatment and loving care Kathleen received. Doctors and Vet Techs alike treated her (and us) with understanding and kindness. Just a word about the front desk staff and Vet Techs. They are remarkable. We were kept informed with phone calls, texts, and even photos of Kathleen. They understood our need to know how she was doing even after-hours. Thank you all so much. Well done!

I was discussing with the front desk about my dogs comprehensive exam where the lady at the front desk who told me "We completed his exam," I said "not really because the vaccines were not given and the blood test wasn't ran." She responded "Yes, you're correct so, we didn't complete it." Dr. McNeil from across the waiting area looked at me and said "I did complete it." I ignored her and looked back at the woman at the desk and said "Please let your vet know to not yell at me from across the room." So Dr. McNeil stormed over, and got close to me and smiled and said "Hello" with a big grin on her face. I'm assuming to intimidate me and I asked her "what do you need?" She proceed to argue and raise her voice about how she did complete her exam. The lady behind the desk tried to ask her to stop and tell me "we can still do the vaccines and blood work right way, super quick." Dr. McNiel proceeded to yell out "I'm not doing anything for her because she's rude." while storming off to the back. Mind you she got so close to me that the front desk woman had to touch her should her to make her step back. I am so displeased with this interaction and this doctor. Please do something. Due to this I am cancelling my membership to Banfield Hospitals that I have used for 5 years.

Last Friday, they called me toward the END of the time window they were supposed to arrive, to say that the appointment before me took longer than expected and they would have to reschedule. That annoyed me greatly. They rescheduled for the next available appointment a week later. Frankly I felt like they should have cancelled someone else's (first) appointment to have my dog seen sooner since this was their second cancellation of my appointment. Today was the third rescheduled date. I just got a call that, sorry, they have to cancel, I should call to reschedule. What is wrong with you? I'm not here waiting to have my blinds fixed or furniture delivered... I have an animal who is suffering who needs health care. He is now developing sores around his eyes where weeks ago he just had slight indications of a skin issue. Total failure as a business and healthcare provider and has shown complete disregard for the suffering of my animal.
