I expect to be jerked around. It seems to be common. It is refreshing to run into someone who runs an honest business. My spouse's laptop is working fine for a reasonable price. Without going into a long diatribe, I'll simply say, the repair I had hoped for would have cost me a ton of money if what Apple had told me was true. The problem was identified and it was a mutual conclusion that the cost of repair was more than it was worth. In the long run, buying a new one would be the better avenue. There was much going into identifying the problem. The bill was more than reasonable. I have to say the lesson was worth the expense. Ehab was a delight to deal with. Be honest with him and he'll be honest with you. Simple really. A blast from the past - good customer service without phony corporate speak. His shop doesn't have the sparkle and hype that the Apple store has. It does have straight talk and excellent service. If the service is more important than the bling, give A+ PC a go.
