My son and I went there a while ago. Had a great time and the course was well maintained and we had a great time.

We recently had an outing here at Garland Mountain and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. After going through registration and watching the safety video, we loaded up our gear on our carts and headed to our course. Each shooter had the opportunity for 50 clays. The clay positioning was unique and definitely brought a challenge for our first time at this club location. We are looking forward to returning in the future. read more

Absolutely perfect place to shoot Sporting Clays. From the facility to the people it could not be better.

I love the food at this place, and I have finally had both food and gone on the course. They have a great set up for beginners and more experienced shooters. Their rentals are super nice shotguns, very easy to use, and they do a quick training for you to learn a little bit about it, plus it is quite nice if you go with some more experienced shots. The employees here are all super helpful, ready to answer questions or give directions, it is honestly a great thing to do for an outing, as team building or just with friends! It's pretty loud though so I wouldn't suggest a first date or anything. Have fun and be safe! read more

My sons and I happened upon Garland Mountain not long after we moved to Canton. We all were shooters but not with shotguns. I set us an appointment for a lesson with Richard Wright and that was it. As we were leaving, one of the boys asked "Dad why did you wait so long to bring us here?" We've been members ever since. We did a girls day and went Skeet shooting at Garland Mountain and then stayed for lunch at the restaraunt. Our Skeet shooting experience was awesome! Our instructor was Richard Wright and he was amazing! So patient with a large group of girls that had never shot. Explained everything, gave great pointers, and ensured that we all had as much fun as we could. He went above and beyond to make our experience the best that it could be and we loved spending the day with him! We will definitely come back! The food and service at the lunch afterwards was great as well. Great scenery, great food and a fun atmosphere! This place is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The staff was top notch! As an African American man coming to a place like this in the South we can often feel skeptical when we first arrive, but all of that went away when I checked in. From the time I walked in to the time I left I felt welcome. To warm up I shot a couple rounds of 5 stand. There was a tournament at the time I visited and all the stations were keyless so Dean (i believe his name was) offered to pull for me. He took me to each station and gave me golden tips that actually worked. Helped me with my left to right crossers and really took the time to get it right. If you are visiting Georgia as I was, I would suggest renting a car. Do NOT UBER. I took a car service there and to pick me up. The clubhouse Amazing! FOOD EXCELLENT!!!! Brisket was Mouth Watering and the fried green tomatoes....BANGIN!! What more can I say about this place besides, on my next trip to GA I will DEFINITELY be shooting here. Absolutely top notch. Visited for the first time today with my two boys to try shooting her own standards. Had a very good first experience at garland Mt. From when we first checked in when we finished service and facilities are top-notch. We started out at the developmental area and once we got confident there we moved over to the more challenging areas of the courses. Everything worked perfectly and we had no problems with any of the equipment. I wonderful day of shooting with my boys. We will be back soon and frequently. read more

My son and I visited Garland Mountain Saturday, for the first time, and fell in love with the place! WOW! Great food, friendly and efficient service, and we had a ball shooting skeet! The lodge is beautiful, and offers indoor or outdoor dining. The fireplace was cozy, and the scenery spectacular. The staff was top notch, and so helpful. They also had a bar, (for AFTER shooting, not before), a small gift shop, and clean restrooms. Next time we might sign up for lessons. I hadn't shot clay in over 40 years, and couldn't believe how much smaller the discs were than I remember! The best part was just spending time with my adult son, in nature, and among happy people. A little off the beaten path but that is part of the attraction. They are a shooting (clay) business and this will typically be occurring while you are eating. I was aware of this before going and it enhanced the experience. Beautifully constructed log cabin with giant back porch for dining as well as indoor dining. They offer drinks that you may never have heard of. Great food, great atmosphere, enjoyed it immensely. I look forward to bringing friends and family here soon. read more

WOW... What can I say. An absolute gem of a shooting facility in NW Georgia. Facility and staff is of the highest caliber. Took two 1:1 lessons with Peter the manager during a visit to the NW GA area and had a blast. Instructor tailored my 1hr lesson based on my learning pace. We spent the day shooting clay pigeons as a family. It was the first time for my daughter's to shoot shotguns. They loved it. If you rent guns, you only need two. We had six shotguns and we spent a lot more than we needed too. A tip from another by another experienced shooter explained that two guns were sufficient and we had more than was necessary. Aside from that it was a great experience. We also ate lunch there. We had the buffet. Note to self, make a lunch reservation, you'll thank me later. :-) read more

First of all this place is wonderful! I was with a group of 35 with the Peach State Cadillac Club for a Valentine's Day brunch! The food was wonderful Shrimp & Grits and Hash Brown casserole & Creamed Spinach and peel and eat Shrimp & Pecan Crusted Chicken and much more on there Brunch menu! Food was hot and fresh! The service was friendly and didn't need to ask for anything! We will be coming back hopefully soon and next time with the Cadillac it was cloudy and rain some but it was great! read more

My family and I visited Garland for the first time last weekend. We kicked off the day with a fantastic meal at the grill and then transitioned to our first lesson with Richard at the development course. This was our first time shooting clays - Richard did an exceptional job teaching us proper safety and foundational skills. Within the first 40 min, we were all breaking clays. Richard quickly adapted his teaching style from my wife and I to our 16 year old son - he's an expert and it shows, great guy as well! Having Richard introduce us to the sport and proper technique was key to everyone having a great time. He was able to witness all the little things we were doing wrong and correct us on the spot - made our time behind the gun more fun and worthwhile. Ultimately, we had such a great experience with Richard, Peter and the Garland staff that we returned again this weekend for another round of shooting - will be back again soon! read more

This is the best. So I love sporting clays, there have been times when I did a round every Saturday back in college. Well 10 years later, and no longer in rainy Scotland, I wanted to see if this was a hobby I could pick up again and that my wife could also enjoy. My wife has some experience with pistols, but is usually a little cautious at a range until she has shot a few rounds at the target. HOWEVER, this she loved EVERY minute of today! Seriously, if you're in the Atlanta metro, either new to sporting clay or not, come here. The place is brand new, and the team super welcoming. We chatted with Peter, when we explained we had a first timer he was so nice and reassuring. The most awesome thing, he was really polite about it, but they have a "developmental area", so beginners can go and learn the basics without feeling like there's a group of experts waiting, and watching, you miss... Peter then asked Harrison to take us down and get us started. Harrison took the time to show my wife how to hold the gun, stand, and aim. He got her to shooting her first clay. This wasn't a lesson, this was just turning up to share 50 birds. She got a few more after he left us to it! We'll definitely be back. We'll definitely be taking this up as a shared hobby.
