I understood that the ground was wet, but the way it was said came across as rude and dismissive. When I politely asked him to repeat the estimate, he responded, "I just told you an around-about estimate," in a condescending tone. I explained that I was simply trying to do business and didn't appreciate the way I was being spoken to. His response was to tell me that I could leave. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I can't say why I was treated that way, but the interaction left me questioning whether bias may have played a role. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be treated with that level of disrespect. I took my business elsewhere and would not recommend this shop based on my experience.

The old man who runs the place added "Road Hazard Coverage" at a cost of $179.20 without my permission. He would not show me the receipt until I requested it. To add insult to injury, they charged an additional $129.00 for a front end alignment, $130.00 to mount the tires, and $81.96 for a TPS stem kit. FINAL COST FOR (4) TIRES WAS $1592.24. Their hourly rate for a mechanic is $178.00. Oh, and they forgot the valve stem covers. AVOID!!!

I always thought it was safe to assume that my car would always leave with the same amount of parts that it came in with, but that's not always true, nor will this place take responsibility for it! Initially, I thought corporate was the way to go but after speaking w 2 reps a total of 3 times in 3 months both promising a call and solution from management, my faith has slowly left. Oh and I forgot to mention, there's been two to three calls made I've made since the last conversation and no response! This place has traditionally been very good with buying and maintaining tires, as well as under the hood work. I previously trusted this Auto Repair business over the dealership that I purchased my actual car from. That speaks volumes. The level of incompetence is astounding. The first time I got my car back, the oil cooler they…read morereplaced was leaking everywhere. The engine oil warning light came on. I made it clear in writing all of what needed to be done to the vehicle. I told the body shop (I was hit by a Geico underinsured motorist) that sent my car to this business that there's no rush and that I'm happy to pay whatever it takes to get the car right. I put in writing that the lug nuts needed to be torqued to spec. (101-103 ft. lbs.). Today I went to take 1 of the wheels they put on the car off. I used penetrating oil, tapped the hex socket (this is what you want to use, not a 12 point that will strip the lug corners) a breaker bar with a 3 ft. pipe extension (total of almost 5') and could not break the lugs free. And bent the breaker bar. I'm a 45 year old male with above average strength. Next I went to a neighbor's house, tapped the socket on to the lug nut and used a top of the line 1/2" Snap-on impact at 175 PSI. This produces somewhere between 1,200 and 1,600 ft. lbs. of nut-breaking torque. IT DIDN'T move a millimeter. There's about 4 people involved between this shop and the body shop and no one is capable of following manufacturer or customer instructions. Or verifying the shoddy work of others even after the "others" have done previous shoddy work. I have documentation of the instructions and receipts if anyone would like to see them before taking their car to this establishment. They've had multiple chances to do things correctly and have proven that they either are not capable, do not care or both. They have no more chances. Whatever manager/owner response that appears is a fools attempt to save face. I was a fool to allow my car to be serviced here. You are too if you read this and still go there. It's not worth risking your life. Do yourself a favor and choose another shop.
