Review Visit: April 18th, 2016 This place definitely garners the attention it deserves. On one of my many trips (with a friend that didn't like being in photos), we stopped for pizza at the recommendation of many people we knew. We walked in on a sunny afternoon with empty bellies and high expectations. We were greeted by a friendly staff and a post-lunch winding down of the restaurant. There were a handful of employees who stopped in for a bite to eat but they all were wrapping up to go back to work. We were seated at a table and given menus and some waters. My friend and I have similar taste buds, so we quickly settled on the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. If memory serves me right, I got my half of the pizza with jalapenos. I do love me a bit of a kick to my food. With the lunch rush past us, we got great service as we were really the only ones in there after about 10 minutes. Our waitress was prompt with everything and just great. It wasn't long before our pizza was brought out to us and boy did it look good. It's not stranger on this blog that I love pizza and Garner's was great. Each bite was full of flavor and each slice being exactly what our bellies needed before we started exploring Bloomington. About the only complaint I would have is that Garner's is in a weird location. It seems to be a newly-built area and I am not entirely too familiar with Morton but it seems to be in a weird location. When my GPS was taking us here, I had doubts the address was correct... but I am glad that I was proven wrong. Garner's was worth the hesitation while driving there. read more

Their italian beef sandwich and bone-in wings were delicious tonight! The delivery was so fast that nothing got cold even though it's only 23 degrees and very windy tonight. They paid attention to all my requested changes and got everything right! I ordered online but forgot to ask for the aujus on the side. it's 8/10/25 aside from having to sit and wait 30 mins past my order pick up time, the two sandwiches I ordered had bottom buns that were harder than the hubs of hell and cheese on them that didn't melt, just burnt around the 4 corners, and they were practically inedible, it's inexcusable to serve a sandwich which would force someone to take the meat off and take away the concept of a 12 dollar sandwich, a supreme pizza which had little to no sausage and a mound of onions, 100 dollar order and the only good thing would be the fries. I'm struggling to understand how this could've happened when they had a extra 30 mins to perfect the order, there was also only one couple in their eatting so it's not like it was a full house where mistakes could have a higher probability of happening. read more

Good neighborhood pizza restaurant! This location is tucked in a corner of a strip mall. We ordered dinner for carry out. We ordered a medium thin crust pepperoni pizza, chef salad with chicken and French dressing, 2 orders of fresh cut fries, and an order of toasted ravioli with 2 marinara sauces. They unfortunately forgot our extra marinara. The pizza was crispy with a good amount of tasty pepperonis. This is good pizza. The toasted ravioli were good with marinara. The chef salad was ice berg lettuce with tomato pieces, purple cabbage, shredded cheese and a good amount of chicken pieces. The French dressing is served in marzetti brand honey French packets. The game changer here is the fresh cut fries. The fries are fantastic! We will be back ! read more

Very consistent wings and pizza. Best wings in Morton, hands down. I like the thin crust pizza. My wife loves the Chicago style. I will say the tomato sauce is one of the best I have ever had on the deep dish. We usually do take out and the food is always hot when we pick it up. I have ordered from Garners on more than just a few occasions mainly because my husband like the wings. I have tried to be objective however, the boneless wings are disgusting. Hard chewy pieces and gross. The hand cut fries are so incredibly greasy. I would not recommend Garners at all. read more

I really do like their pizza and wings - have done since they were in Peoria back in the 90s. But the last few times we've ordered carryout, the food was barely warm. Eat there and everything is as it should be. But sometimes you just want pizza in front of a movie at home, ya know? Just got lunch to go, how do you mess up a meatball sub? Don't put enough sauce on it! Possibly the driest meatball sub I've ever had and to top that off they don't dress the sandwich the way you want it they put all extras on the side. WOW is all i can say. This pizza restaurant is one of the best ive ever been to. My first time in America i stopped at Garners pizza and wings and i was greeted to a friendly smile and a warm welcome to a beautiful restaurant by Chloe I believe, we ordered a Basic Pizza and wing combo/ The wings were tender and delicious. When they were brought to me and my son ,in such speed i may add, they sparkled as bright as the day My lord Jesus was born. The wings were so tender and the crispiness on the wings was mouth watering(Much better than we get down in Enlgand) And dont even get me started on the pizza! The thin crust had such a delicious and heavenly taste to it. The crust was Crispy and the cheese was stringy and the tomato base sauce was to die for!! I think id travel all the way to America just to try it again YUMM! Would definitely recommend to all. Killer wings, I got the hot buffalo sauce which isn't all that hot, but everything was very good none the less. Oddly though they don't have celery for their wings???? That isn't acceptable! It's like cutting an important step? Thankfully, I had celery at home. The chicken wings were good sized along were cooked properly. They had plenty of sauce on them and the ranch came in large packets and they gave me 3 of them. It was Marzeti's brand ranch that is quite good. I highly recommend the buffalo wings. read more

Was at Garner's last night (2/28/2020) with a buddy of mine to try their pizza, my first. We had a thin crust meat-lovers and it was absolutely fantastic! This use to be my favorite pizza and wing place. There traditional wings are still very good. There pizza however after opening the new store isn't the same. I've had it several times and it always seems slightly undercooked and ingredients are not as good as they use to be. Idk if they changed the recipe or the new employees dont try as hard. read more

Went there last night for the first time and was very happy that we did. Got 2 orders of the traditional wings with fries and a garden salad. Everything was great! The wings are tasty, the fries are the awesome, fresh cut ones, and the salad was fresh. Most importantly, is that all of the staff was compliant with Covid protection. Everyone was wearing a mask! I went for the lunch buffet, the food was great but it was obvious that they were having problems handling a busy crowd. They could not keep up with the food demand. I really like their food but I have been disappointed every time I go for the buffet. They are the highest priced buffet in town and can't or won't keep up with the demand of food on the buffet. Today there were several people already seated when I arrived at 12:10, I was behind 6 people waiting to pay and there were people coming in behind me. I would think that someone would notify the kitchen to put more pizzas in but they don't. There was plenty of pizza the first time I went up and not much to choose from the second time. Knowing there was nothing but two pieces of pizza that nobody wanted that was still sitting up there just drying out I decided to wait to see if they were going to bring more out. 10 minutes later nothing. On our carry out order, we had a 16 inch pizza, 6 boneless wings, and 6 bone-in wings. The bone-in wings were cold and not crispy. My husband went up to get them replaced. Manager said "no." He said nothing was wrong with them. He refused to replace them. This manager doesn't represent "good customer service." We won't be getting food from here, anymore. Some of the best wings you will ever eat in the entire state of Illinois! The fries are amazing too. Nothing super special about the pizza IMO, but it's good. My only complaint is that I wish I could eat there more often, but it's a little pricey, especially for a family of 5 who can eat a TON of chicken wings. read more

I've ordered from here several times, each time getting something new to try out. I imagine that takeout is much different than dine in, but the wings weren't all that great. They tasted like Tyson wings you could buy and cook at home. The pasta tasted old, and again, like I could have made it from a package at home.
